Zumindest war es ein Sommer ohne Überraschung.Bei den Haien werden wir sehen wie der neue Kader auf dem Eis – unter Führung des neuen Coaches Thomas Berglund – zusammenfindet und bei uns, in welcher Geschwindigkeit wir die „Überbleibsel“ des Sommers aufarbeiten. Neuland wird für uns die CHL sein von der wir natürlich auch berichten werden.In diesem Sinne: Auf in die neue Saison!Als erstes, ohne Aufwärmphase, sagen wir direkt mal, was wir von den Haien in der neuen Saison erwarten und wie wir die Sommerarbeit der Haie bewerten.Wir schauen, was seit dem letzten Sharkbite Anfang Mai alles so rund um die Haie passiert ist. Wir besprechen nicht jeden Besuch auf einem Straßenfest, aber die Meilensteine (Vorbereitung, WM, neue Spieler, Spielplan, CHL, etc.) haben wir uns nochmal angeschaut.Wir geben einen kleinen Überblick über die neuen Haie. Replenish Nutrients CEO Neil Wiens joined Steve Darling from Proactive to discuss a strategic investment agreement with SRC Agrominerals that will provide $7.5 million in growth capital while supporting the expansion of the company's production facilities in Beiseker, Alberta. Under the agreement, SRC Agrominerals will acquire an initial 19.9% equity stake in Replenish and provide an additional $7.5 million debenture investment, giving the company flexible capital to accelerate its growth plans. The partnership also includes the appointment of SRC CEO Tim Close to Replenish's Board of Directors, while Dr. David Morris, founder and chairman of Morris Group Canada, will serve as a board advisor and be nominated for election as a director at the company's next annual meeting. The investment proceeds will fund construction of a 150,000-metric-tonne pelletizing facility at the existing Beiseker site, along with expanded storage, processing, and load-out infrastructure to support both current granulation operations and future production. The expansion is expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2028. As part of the partnership, the companies have also signed a long-term supply agreement for carbonatite, a mineral-rich resource containing calcium, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, trace minerals, and beneficial microbial properties. Replenish will incorporate the material into its proprietary regenerative fertilizer products, securing a reliable supply of a key ingredient for future growth. Known for her engaging storytelling and practical insight, she helps educators and leaders reframe behaviour and create the conditions for well-being, connection, and learning.Kristin Wiens is an educator and illustrator whose work focuses on Self-Reg and relational approaches to supporting all students. With a background as an Education Assistant, she developed an EA training program that she has taught for over a decade. She also co-created the Mehrit Centre online course Self-Reg for EAs with Susan Hopkins, based on the book they co-authored. Her writing and illustrations support educators in shifting from compliance-based approaches toward a regulation-focused lens grounded in stress awareness, connection, and compassion. I recently sat down with Andrew Sullivan of the Unfiltered Wine Festival. We originally connected over the planning of the first Unfiltered Festival last year that he organized.  What really brought us together is the love of California and California wine.  Rooting for the home team, basically.  Today we talk about his history of cooking and wine and food culture appreciation, trying to work with artists of all disciplines in a respectful way, and his varied and interesting past of paying Jazz musicians to perform at safe injections sites in San Francisco, getting an early internet presence for the alt weekly's of the the Bay Area and maybe most importantly what California Craft wine means to him and why he spends so much time and energy in promotion of of it. Also how he's bringing that experience in valuing the artist and craft to wine fairs and other events. So we discuss what he's doing to not just get winemakers in front of new groups but ensuring that they are paid and can sell wine to have that immediate return on their time and energy spent.
