Hello! Welcome the fourth episode in season 2 of the Poor in Spirit Podcast. This was originally going to be our third installment in the Gender and Sexuality series, but we decided to do something a little different. During the month of December, The Dragonfly Home, a local non-profit that serves survivors of human trafficking, hosts the Drive for Dragonfly campaign to raise awareness and funds. This is Rachel's second year doing the drive and we thought it would be a good time to bring on some of our dear friends who are also participating, Maddie Smith, Bailey Edrington, and Bella Starchman, to have a good chat. Join us as we discuss what human trafficking is, what the Drive for Dragonfly is, and the reasons for our passion behind fighting this injustice. We did record this episode via zoom, so we apologize for any audio issues!
