Rising Whole is about listening to our bodies and all their innate wisdom, getting back into our bodies and letting them guide us as we make powerful choices moment to moment for our lives, rather than fighting them over how they should be. Join me as we discuss tools such as intuitive eating, and intuitive movement all through the lense of Health at Every size, as a way to listen to and honor our bodies. When we believe we are already whole, complete and perfect; the possibilities for freedom are endless.

Today I talked with Karsyn Dupree! I have known her for quite some time and yet this is the first time we have come together to connect about a wide range of topics we feel similarly about. We talk about eating disorder recovery (in the spotlight and otherwise) all different facets of parenting and motherhood, our intuition, and even enneagram types. We cover SO MUCH here and it is a BIG episode. Give the whole thing a listen!!Karsyn DuPree is a 26-year-old mama of two boys, Phoenix (2 years) & Sage (10 months) living in Nashville, TN. Karsyn leads a multi-hyphenated life, including running a small handmade shop, training to be a birth doula, occasionally making music with her husband, and now embarking on the podcast venture, Conscious As A Mother.Stepping into the blogging scene in 2012, Karsyn began her blog initially as a way to share her experience with recovery from an eating disorder. She has since gone on to speak on body positivity, and chooses to reclaim her relationship with her body on a daily basis from a conscious lens of nurturing and respect. In the eight years since its conception, her blog has naturally shifted to a more lifestyle focus, marrying her love for recipes, family, motherhood, design, and personal experiences. For fun, Karsyn is currently in the process of remodeling her family’s 1970s home with her husband, Collin, sharing the journey on her blog and Instagram account. I am so excited to be able to bring you guys this interview (I know I say that every interview but REALLY!) Caroline and her work were seriously monumental in my full recovery journey. The "fuck it" if the fuck it diet really is the last little boost I needed to totally kick the diet mentality to the curb and I think you'll find similar results. Her work is a great place to start in healing your relationship with food and your body and give up dieting- forever. We talk about what the fuck it diet ( I wanted to title the episode that but I knew iTunes would take it down) even is, we talk about food addiction, and the idea that if we let ourselves eat whatever we want we'll become unhealthy bottomless pits (spoiler alert: we wont). We also talk about something I know you all have heard me ramble about before and that is REST!
