The Whitewater Wars Book The Whitewater Wars Website This week we are joined by David Brown, one of the most important pioneers in the world of recreational whitewater. We discuss David's book, The Whitewater Wars that details his role in securing the recreational water releases on two of America's most popular whitewater rivers, the Ocoee and the Gauley. David gives us insight into how a relatively young industry went up against two of the larger government entities and won the right to consistent water releases for recreational paddlers.
