ARNAUD DIRCKX:The sea has always been an element of inspiration for me. The fact that, in the picture, the man's brain is replaced by a stormy sea shows the torments of this thoughts. The music used in the mix-tape shows the unpredictable character of the sea. The songs vary from calm and peaceful to dark and deep atmosphere. The sea brings not only joy but also sadness... SNAKE EAT LION:Bleed the sky - When I saw this image the first thing that came to mind was a road trip crossed with an acid trip (haha). Although that might sound a bit hectic, the image does have some kind of calm feel to it, as if everything is going to be okay. JAMES MAC:The of photo lion with the unusually colourful mouth inspired me into doing a slightly more traditional club sounding mix however in following the colourful twist seen in the photo I decided to gear my track selection in the same way. ARBUS PAIK:The mix is coloured by a deep and dreamy atmosphere but not without an energetic structure which better fits for the dancefloor. The given picture gives an atmosphere of tranquility and happiness. From saying this when I look at it I feel a sense of serenity, an escape from reality.
