Everytime I read books and watch documentaries, I always find myself excited to share the things that I get from them. So here with this episode, I am talking about what I did for the day and the learnings I got with it. But spoiler alert, bitin ang ending! Haha!
Why look for an outside source of motivation, when you can give yourself one. It's been so long since I lifted myself with my own words haha!
Current thoughts about mental health. Also sharing this new netflix documentary I've been watching entitled Heal.
As we begin another year and probably a new life season, I know there are already a number of questions or worries and even fears. Do you wonder with fear of the future or with confidence? Are you positively expectant or negative towards this year? Or maybe you are in between, you are feeling confused as to how to feel and welcome this year. I have been a supporter of this particular Philippine organization since 2019. A small help can already have a great impact!
We need to pause, slow down, and pray. We need to contemplate before committing. We need to purposefully consider a lot of things before deciding. We must reflect before we select. Full blog post - https://ljcestar.wixsite.com/starencarnacion/post/2020-reflection
Let us try to test our thoughts, capture the toxic ones, and fixate our thoughts on God. Full blog post - https://ljcestar.wixsite.com/starencarnacion/post/mind-reset-from-toxic-thoughts
I'm quite bothered, but all I wanted to say is that I should not let myself be bothered by worldly perceptions or other people's view of the world against my faith and beliefs. Full blog post - https://ljcestar.wixsite.com/starencarnacion/post/god-s-word-god-s-truth
I'm trying out this new Audio-technica ATR2500x-USB condenser microphone that I just bought earlier today at a reasonable price! Thank you JVS Audio System Davao! Shoutout also to 6 of my students for the gift items (Research Adviser Token of Appreciation) that they have given me sooooo happy with it! So now, I'll be editing the vlog for my unboxing with it and check it out on my YT channel. ciao
Things I did and things to expect to start the year.
A much deserved ramen after what happened today.
Yes, another mental health episode. Just hear me out. Enjoy!
Recently I posted a poll on my IG Stories asking whether to do a Post-Grad Experience episode or to share my Solo travel experiences. Both yielded a good number of votes so I decided to do both of them. After finishing this weekend's online class, I decided to record the podcast for my Post-Graduate journey and my timeline from College to the present. Everything I shared is just based on my personal experience and on a medical field of view. Hope you enjoy this one! PS. I also wanted to take up Masters in Optometry but it's only available in Manila or abroad.
This episode contains my learnings with the Udemy course, Mentor for Impact. Hope you enjoy this one! For the video post -- https://youtu.be/Xh7lQbVHN9k
The healing we always need only comes from the Lord, and I know that deep in my heart. Both the physical and spiritual restoration can only be received from God. If you are in this season, please join me, and let's run back to God. He is the only source of healing. He is the only One who can fill us up. Do you have days when you feel unmotivated at all? Are you carrying a lot of questions that constantly make you feel unmotivated to continue? Are you tired on most days, even after a full 8-hour sleep, and you can't even find the desire to do the things you planned the night before? Do you have moments, where for a while you have been feeling inspired and excited, then all of a sudden, your motivation gets lost the very next second? Have you experienced where things don't go as planned and that leads you to be unmotivated to go on? Full blog post at https://ljcestar.wixsite.com/starencarnacion/post/lack-of-motivation

November 1, 2020 Anxiety Attack. Thank you Lord for the reminder: 1 Peter 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.
Just trying out this new Digital voice recorder I bought. Please bear with this episode since there is a lot of unnecessary noise and I haven't familiarized this yet. But for this one, I was just sharing something about my uppers for this week. Enjoy? Hehe
I never had a psychiatric evaluation or consultation done ever in my life, and I just had one earlier today. A big step I might say. This is me saying, finally I had the guts and courage to seek for professional help. Getting help for mental health concerns is nothing to be ashamed of, and it's better to start a journey of healing by knowing the proper diagnosis from a certified and licensed psychiatrist. Here in this podcast episode, I just decided to share my thoughts and experiences with regard to my first-ever psychiatric consultation. Let us not be afraid to ask for help. Especially if it means getting yourself better. #MentalHealth
Pain is inevitable but suffering is optional. I don't want to live this life just to cope, but to live purposefully. This is just the beginning. It's time to put myself back together again. For the full blog post - https://ljcestar.wixsite.com/starencarnacion/post/emotional-trauma
What I go through is tiring but I'm not giving up. I may rest because I'm tired but I will keep on fighting. All the broken pieces taught me how to be on my own and heal at my own pace. I'm thankful to God for having these broken pieces, for having experienced brokenness because it led me to discover how strong I really am. This is another episode where I was completely being myself, meaning no edits haha! Just sharing how my day went, from coffee talks, Post-Grad experience, and my skincare or self-care routine? haha I am all over the place for this one, had a lot of misspeaks and mistakes, but I hope you still enjoy this episode! Bitter Bu, order pick up at Pepper Plate (not Pepper Lunch, sorry guys haha)
A different take of my usual podcast, but I'm hoping you'll like this one! Listen for yourself and enjoy! Let us build ourselves into the best version that God envisions us to be. It's okay to look back, but let's not stay there. Full blog post - https://ljcestar.wixsite.com/starencarnacion/post/it-s-time-to-look-back

Hey, hey, hey! Welcome to Star's Train of Thoughts! Basically with this podcast, we get to talk about life in general. I just enjoy the way I take every darkness in this world and find the light in it. Trying to approach things with a purposeful attitude. This is just me, hoping to encourage you with whatever ups and downs and yes and nos God has blessed us with. Hopefully, this intro has enlightened you as to what to expect from this podcast. Generally, Star's train of thoughts explores the topics of self-help, personal growth, empowerment, and faith.

Revealing some fun and interesting facts about myself and my life :) Just a light episode to brighten up this podcast!
By slowly changing the way I see and deal with my mental health issues, I started to impact attitudes and behaviors in a different way. I just rambled nonstop about my current state and I hope you don't mind listening to my load of struggles.
Interrogated myself with ten Self Reflection Questions I found online. Also talked about my endless fight with anxiety and depression.
Getting deep and personal with this podcast episode: sharing my two major relationships, the breakup, and some of the challenges I experienced with it. A bonus for this episode, I talked about a few things I discovered and did on my own for the first time in my life. Being single doesn't have to be a burden. We should not shy away from being in it, and talking about it. We should enjoy every bit of this life chapter to the fullest. A lot of ups and downs with this episode but I'm glad to finally share this part of my story. I hope you enjoy this one!
It's my first time to do a raw unedited podcast episode. Just an end-of-the-week update. I know I'm jumping from one point to another, it's just how my mind works. Welcome to my raw messy thinking haha! I hope you enjoy!
We have to be intentional in everything that we post online because we can never know who would stumble across our accounts and be encouraged, or for some be discouraged for a reason. Assess where you are in life, what excites you, what is your life purpose, what are the necessary steps you need to make, etc. It is by all of it that you get to have a glimpse of life's make it or break it situations, and how you will be able to handle them. For me, I just go back to my life words to remind me of my values and priorities. But when God took all the things that mattered to me and left me with only the necessary and important things, I was forced to see things from a different perspective, from a different angle, from a new set of eyes. It helped me to see things in the eyes of God. With this pod episode, I was openly talking about my struggle with Envy. Hurt people hurt people. Offend people offend people. Why has this been the pattern of this world? Why do people think it's okay to hurt others just because they were also hurt? Why is there a need to offend others just because they have also been offended? This episode contains the audio recording of a blog post I made. If you want to read the full blog post, here's the link: https://ljcestar.wixsite.com/starencarnacion/post/hurt-people-hurt-people and if you prefer the audio, hit the play button and enjoy!
There are no bad timings. Only God's perfect timing. Never too early, never too late. Nothing is ever an accident. Sometimes God allows pain for us to acknowledge that we need to run to Him. We needed to experience things that hurt because these things are here to shape us, to mold our characters, to teach us lessons, and most importantly, to bring us closer to God. Sometimes God has to break our hearts in order to save our souls and He needed to close some doors in our lives for us to choose to live for Him, and not for other reasons. If you want to read the full blog post, here's the link: https://ljcestar.wixsite.com/starencarnacion/post/god-s-perfect-timing
This is just a quick update about my anxiety whereabouts. Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you. - 1 Peter 5:7
The past week I had been struggling with emptiness. I recently discovered that emptiness is also being considered as an emotion, and with this podcast episode, I had poured out my personal experience with it, and how I struggled with it for a number of days. Just sharing to you my side for maybe, a listener like you could also be able to relate to it. PS. Excuse my audio recording 'cause I wasn't really feeling well when I recorded this.
Here is the second half of my personal development episode. Here I was taking the Quistic Personality test. Have you tried taking this test, too? What's your personality result? Mine is...
With this podcast episode, I'm talking about my experience with the different personality tests I've done based on the recommendations of an online course I did and I'm sharing with you my results with it. I just love how these tests help me to get an objective view or angle of myself and how it assists me to discover more about my dominant traits and preferences. Try it for yourself!
Studying the Bible deepens our foundation and relationship with God. It is to better know who God is, to gain wisdom from Him, and to receive guidance on how we should be living our lives. It is by having the right perspective by learning about the truth, and through it, we are able to conquer life's challenges and claim our victories. With this pod episode, I'm just sharing with you my bible study essentials. It's how I strengthen my learner and input skills as I study the Word of God.
In this episode, I enjoyed talking about my top five favorite authors and my favorite books from them. Definitely a book enthusiast! ;)
This episode talks about my major physical health issues (hospitalizations and surgeries), and bits of my mental health issues (anxiety and depression). An intro on my next podcast episode but you have to listen 'til the end ;)
Join me as I share some parts of my July 6, 2020 morning, and my daily devotional time.
When it makes you seem weak for forgiving, just hold on to the truth that when we are at our weakest, God is strong on our behalf. It is when we are weak and vulnerable that God draws us closer to Him. Just as it was mentioned in the scripture 2 Corinthians 12:9, But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.
This episode had me talking about my new condenser microphone, our clinic's 5th anniversary, and some bits of my career. I also shared how I do my daily devotionals and my journey with it over the years, and my new four life words. W-R-A-P. That's a wrap! ;)
