Thoughts on Bangladesh and How to Pray… When I first started learning about Bangladesh in 2002, there were only about 130+ million people. Today that number is closer to 180! Let me help you with an example of just how crowded it is… similar in size to Georgia, Iowa, and Alabama, but with 15 or 25x more people!s **Bangladesh is the most densely populated sovereign nation larger than 1,000 square miles** - It has a population density of roughly 3,538 per sq. mile (1400/km)! - Virtually all higher-density entries are tiny city-states, territories, or micro-nations far below 1,000 square miles, including: Macau (~33 km², ~22,000/km²), Monaco (~2 km², ~19,000/km²), Singapore (~710 km², ~8,225/km²), and Hong Kong (~1,100 km², ~7,000/km²). - Among sovereign countries (or comparable large entities) exceeding the size threshold, no other nation surpasses Bangladesh. Next in line for larger countries include places like Taiwan (~636/km²), the Netherlands (~548/km²), and South Korea (~529/km²). There is obviously much we do know to pray for, but I want to remind you that there is also so much we DO NOT KNOW. For instance, Iran’s regime-induced internet blackout keeps us from hearing much at all from the majority of Iranians who are cheering on the potential fall of the Islamic regime. Let’s not forget them. My guess is if communication were functioning normally, we’d be inundated with positive messages from within Iran. One report I saw estimated that in Iran it's more like 95% against the Ayatollahs and 5% for. But we really just don’t know. Finally, we come to our topic of the day, Chinese Christians in Exile and Serving Abroad… I have to be careful here. I simply cannot give up too much info about the folks I’m going to mention, so bear with me as I search for the right words… - Chinese missionaries are being sent to most of western China, almost all of Asia (sans India), and much of the Middle East, and they “fit in” much better than Westerners in many of these places - They are being trained in much the same way Western missionaries are trained to work cross-culturally, not in a matter of days, but years, in strategic places both inside and outside of China - Some of them struggle to leave China (passports confiscated), but others cannot return, as they will be arrested upon arrival with their passports confiscated for the foreseeable future - We have a major project later this year to help the missionary arm of the Chinese Underground Church Strategic Opportunity to Give: MCI3.org ($50,000 need!) Welcome back to another episode of Inside The Bus. We apologize for missing you guys last week, we get into why there was no episode last week in today's episode. Before we get there, the boys recap the rest of the Super Bowl week out in San Francisco. Delanie hooked the boys up and got us into a section that was more VIP than Joe Burrow, the guys saw Post Malone and Green Day in the same night and caught a set from Disco Lines. Garrett went across the pond to Amsterdam and Germany, Jack went to maybe the best city in the country in San Diego, Mitch hit up Charleston and JP connected with an old friend in Dallas. Richard Allen Interrogated: The First Time the Public Sees Him Speak PART 2 You Got One Piece of Evidence I Can't Explain    The public is finally hearing the voice of Richard Allen—the man convicted of murdering Abby Williams and Libby German—for the first time, and what he says is as chilling as it is revealing. Newly released videos from YouTuber Tom Webster expose a window into Allen's world just before and just after his arrest. What starts as firm denial slowly spirals into something a whole lot darker. Allen, sentenced to 130 years in December for the 2017 murders of 13-year-old Abby and 14-year-old Libby, managed to fly under the radar for over five years. Then, on October 26, 2022, he was arrested. But two weeks before that, on October 13, investigators brought him in for questioning. And that interrogation, which is now public, begins with Allen trying to stay cool under pressure. He admits he was on the Monon High Bridge the same day the girls vanished. Not a great start. But when pushed further, he flat-out denies any involvement. The cops didn't hold back either. At one point, Carroll County Prosecutor's Office Investigator Steve Mullin throws out a brutal accusation: Either Allen did this to the girls himself, or he helped someone else do it. That's when Allen pushes back. Hard. “Good luck finding anything that points in that direction,” he says. “You're not going to make me believe it's me.” In hindsight, it's a strange thing to say. He doesn't say “I didn't do it” with confidence. Instead, it's “you're not going to make me believe it's me.” Like he's arguing with his own reflection. By the time we get to the second video—recorded the day of his arrest—the tone changes. Investigators have an unspent bullet found at the crime scene, and it matches a gun owned by Allen. Newly released videos from YouTuber Tom Webster expose a window into Allen's world just before and just after his arrest. What starts as firm denial slowly spirals into something a whole lot darker. Allen, sentenced to 130 years in December for the 2017 murders of 13-year-old Abby and 14-year-old Libby, managed to fly under the radar for over five years. Then, on October 26, 2022, he was arrested. But two weeks before that, on October 13, investigators brought him in for questioning. And that interrogation, which is now public, begins with Allen trying to stay cool under pressure. He admits he was on the Monon High Bridge the same day the girls vanished. Not a great start. But when pushed further, he flat-out denies any involvement. The cops didn't hold back either. At one point, Carroll County Prosecutor's Office Investigator Steve Mullin throws out a brutal accusation: Either Allen did this to the girls himself, or he helped someone else do it. That's when Allen pushes back. Hard. “Good luck finding anything that points in that direction,” he says. “You're not going to make me believe it's me.” In hindsight, it's a strange thing to say. He doesn't say “I didn't do it” with confidence. Instead, it's “you're not going to make me believe it's me.” Like he's arguing with his own reflection. By the time we get to the second video—recorded the day of his arrest—the tone changes. Investigators have an unspent bullet found at the crime scene, and it matches a gun owned by Allen. He's still in denial, but now, it sounds desperate. “There is no way that evidence is going to show that I did this,” Allen insists. But the police aren't backing down either. ISP Investigator Jerry Holeman is blunt: “It's right f---ing here, Rick.” Allen's response? “You got one piece of evidence I can't explain.” And Holeman hits back with: “I got multiple pieces. Multiple. I'm not showing you my whole f---ing hand here.” It's a poker game with two people holding very different cards. And it becomes clear Allen knows he's losing. Then come the prison phone calls. Eight of them, between November 2022 and June 2023, shared publicly for the first time. In those calls, Allen talks to his wife and his mother, and that's where things start unraveling. These aren't emotional breakdowns or cryptic metaphors—these are confessions. Clear, damning, and hard to walk back. They were played during the trial, but the public never got to hear them until now. Still, Allen's legal team claims those confessions weren't given voluntarily. Maybe it was the stress, the isolation, the realization that there's no way out. Maybe it was all three. But that's the story they're sticking to. In March, Allen's attorneys filed a notice of appeal. They're trying to undo what the jury decided—that Allen is the man who took two young girls' lives on a cold February day in Delphi.
