elcome to Total Football, the official YouTube channel of MyFootballWriter! Here you’ll find our exclusive interviews, hosted by Connor Southwell; as well as our original series ‘Norwich Talk’ where Connor Southwell and Ben Ambrose Talk all things relating to Norwich City.
Today we take a look back on Daniel Farke's four years as Norwich City head coach in episode 50 of the Norwich Talk podcast! We decided a combined XI of all the talent he's had at his disposal throughout his tenure would be the most creative way to talk about the man and the job he has done. Essentially the XI's will be this year's title winning squad + James Maddison, right. Only kidding... well kind of. We're joined by Seth Ballard (infamously wrong about everything) and Hodgey aka Hodgeythehack. We've also collected XI's from some of NCFC's wisest minds (and Connor Southwell) such as The Athletic's Michael Bailey, Dave Freezer of the Pink Un, Benjamin Bloom & some in-house folk.
We're back... and live! Billy Gilmour joins the list of millions of 'potential' Norwich City signings as Norwich show reported interest following his immaculate display against England at Euro 2020. We give you the low-down etc. etc. *UPDATE* Mid-stream Norwich City decided to spend near £10m on a new player (Milot Raschica) just to keep us on our toes, which we go into great detail about, too.
Time to dig into some more Norwich City goodness! Today we'll be covering the return of Angus Gunn, the fixture list (yep, it's annoyed us too!) and whether Jake Humphrey spoiled the new first team shirt sponsor for Norwich City or not.
Blimey. Didn't expect that did we? Well maybe we did. Norwich City announce a first team shirt sponsor with BK8 at the same time as the departure of Emi Buendia in attempt to brush over the ethical issues of a gambling company sponsor. It then got much worse as people began to actually do more research into the company than City themselves, uncovering their disgusting marketing methods before swiftly deleting them.
Welcome back to the Norwich Talk Podcast! You join us live (or not) for a chat about everything that's being going on within the Norwich City sphere from transfers rumours, including Emi Buendia, Joshua King & Kristoffer Ajer to a club-wide rebrand!
Football wizard Benjamin Bloom joins us (in a fantastic shirt) to deliver the perspective of a non Norwich City fan on all that the club has gone through this season. We talk about the improvement in transfer activity, early season frustration, Norwich with and without Emi Buendia & this potentially being the best team the Championship has seen.
Welcome back to The Review! We play a Norwich City themed game of keep, loan or sell. It's as simple as that really. We used Canaries.co.uk's first team page to go through the squad and we decide whether we would like Norwich to keep, loan out or sell a player.
It's time to talk about the best part of the season! Connor Southwell re-emerges in place of AlongComeNorwich to join us to have a Norwich City love fest. We talk about the run of fixtures that started with a 4-1 home victory to Stoke City all the way to securing the title against Reading with names such as Andrew Omobamidele, Emi Buendia & Kieran Dowell mentioned (in glowing fashion) along the way!
Hodgeythehack & The Athletic's Michael Bailey join us to review the second part of Norwich City's title winning campaign. We talk about things such as the return of fans to Carrow Road, Teemu Pukki's greatness, Buendia screamers and why we didn't really care about the FA Cup. Oh yeah, the crisis point too. The crisis point you ask?!! Yes, the two draws and a loss, that one.
Welcome back to the third series of The Review! Chris Goreham & Connor Southwell separately join us to discuss the first third of Norwich City's title winning season. We talk about the summer transfer window, bouncing back from relegation and the importance of results over performance as Norwich looked to get the fans back on board. Go check out the Pink Un's documentary!
Norwich City's assistant head coach Edmund Riemer joins Sam for a chat about life before Norwich City before then reviewing his time at the club and what it's like working closely with Daniel Farke.
Hodgeythehack joins us for a slightly different podcast as we discuss the launch of his Norwich City podcast 'Hodge on Nodge.' Hodgey welcomed former City manager Alex Neil on as his first guest of which is a point of discussion as well as where his love for the biggest team in East Anglia originated. We also talk about Mario Vrancic & Alex Tettey following the news that they'll be leaving Norwich at the end of this season.
Norwich City will win the Championship title! Well, that's what we think anyway. Welcome back to Norwich Talk for episode #45 of the Norwich Talk podcast where we talk about Norwich City's most two recent defeats against fellow relegated, and now fellow promotion candidates, Bournemouth & Watford. We also talk about why we're so certain that Norwich will clinch the title, as well as comment on rumours surrounding Max Aarons & Kristoffer Ajer. Of course we also chat a bit about the European (not so) Super League, because why not?
Andrew Omobamidele was a name not many of us were familiar with outside of Colney until a few weeks ago when the 18 year old stepped into the first team with Ben Gibson being ruled out for the season. Omobamidele has adapted to life in the first team with ease having only conceded one goal in his first three appearances with a clean sheet coming in that emphatic 7-0 home win against Huddersfield. Sam & Alfie sit down to to chat with him about life at Norwich City and what his future aspirations are at the club. This interview was recorded 16/4/21, before Bournemouth at home.
Welcome back to Norwich Talk for our first podcast since Norwich decided to go and win nine on the bounce! We'll be chatting about the run, some comments from Robbie Savage & the sticky situation Norwich could find themselves in post international break.
Norwich City legend & current club ambassador Darren Huckerby joins us for episode number 42 of the Norwich Talk podcast for a chat about his career as a Norwich City player and how it developed into becoming a club legend and then a fan of the club himself.
Stuart Hodge or 'hodgeythehack' joins us today for the 39th episode of the Norwich Talk Podcast! We take a look back at our predictions for the success of the summer signings from September and provide a new rating out of ten based on a couple of factors including: the level of performance so far & the potential of the player.
In today's podcast we take a look at another 2-1 victory for Norwich, this time coming against Cardiff City. We also take a look at City's squad and discuss whether Norwich need to be dipping their toes into the transfer market during this January transfer window, before previewing NCFC's game against Bristol City.
With a new podcast comes a new podcast team! Alfie & Sam join Ben today, and for the future, to discuss whether Norwich City are just riding their luck at the top of the table or if they’re earning their keep.
Welcome back to Norwich Talk for another NT Pod where we are joined by familiar faces Stuart Hodge & Alfie of The Revere End Podcast! We chat with the guys about Norwich's incomings (which we suspect has been concluded) whilst delivering a rating out of ten for each player.
EFL mastermind Benjamin Bloom joins us this week for a catchup on all that we missed from last season in the championship. He also gives us his thoughts on how Norwich might fare with the task that lies ahead, with the rule completely different to what they were back in 2018/19.Links to Benjamin's work:https://twitter.com/Benjaminbloom https://t.co/A6fOUnSFEB?amp=1 https://www.youtube.com/user/BenjaminBloom
Welcome back to Norwich Talk for another podcast where we are once again joined by Connor Southwell. We chat with him about his journey to becoming a professional sports writer for EDP, Evening News & Pink Un by the age of 19. It was quite the ride for Connor as he discovered his passion for writing whilst balancing A-Levels and various other voluntary projects such as working with BBC & Norwich City Fan Social Club. He was then taken a chance on by Gary Gowers of MyFootballWriter to prove himself on a bigger platform helping him land a gig at TalkNorwichCity whilst continuing to write for MFW. A little while later this channel was born and Ben and Connor began to create NCFC content which included interviews with Stuart Webber, Iran Roberts, Matt Jarvis and many more past NCFC players. After a vacancy for Norwich City reporter came up at Archant it was then his turn to go professional as he smashed the interview and began his job with Norwich's 3-2 win over Manchester City being his debut.

Former Norwich City player and current Norwich Utd manager Cedric Anselin joins Ben and Joe to discuss the last few games for the Canaries, as well as looking ahead to what could have once been a relegation 6-pointer but given the Saints spell of form in this second half of the season, it's now just another must-win game for City's survival chance. Can we build off of the Leicester and Spurs results and Sheffield performance? Did we warrant a point against the Blades? Can we beat Southampton at Carrow Road on Saturday? Let us know down below!
Freddie of The Ugly Inside joins Ben for this episode of Behind Enemy Lines ahead of the Premier League clash between the Canaries & the Saints. The lads asses the direction of both clubs since their last meeting back in December; a game that saw Norwich fall to Southampton's press, as the team in red & white became 2-1 victors. The guys also look deeper into the causes for Southampton's climb towards the top half, pinpointing Danny Ings as the main cause for it. Ben rounds off the chat by getting the low-down on how it's been to support Southampton since their arrival to the top flight in 2013.
Ingood Nick joins Ben as he fills us in on the secret behind Sheffield United and Chris Wilder's success in a season that sees the fellow newly promoted side contending for a potential place in either European competition.

Find Lewis at ‘Norwich City Central’ on YouTube & @norwich_central on Twitter!
Following a Wolves fixture to forget, Joe and Ben talk about how Nuno's team barely had to leave second gear in what appeared a routine win after 2 league games that ended 0-0 (although they thumped Espanyol 4-0 in the Europa League just 3 days prior); Emi Buendia and his absence from starting XIs of late, looking at performances, tunnel strops and Daniel Farke's comments to try and gauge just what is going on; and James Maddison's return to Carrow Road after an undeniably good season at Leicester, and knowing he spares no remorse for City considering he set up Vardy's goal at the King Power (although the league would have you believe it was a Krul OG and a Vardy assist).
From Canary Cast, Jacob Robinson joins Joe and Ben this week to discuss a missed opportunity at St. James' Park vs Newcastle and look toward Liverpool's visit to Carrow Road with their unbeaten run extended to 100 points, dropping only to Manchester Utd back in October. The boys also discuss whether Emi Buendia is better than James Maddison and they continue their seemingless fruitless endeavour to encourage Daniel Farke to line Norwich up with a 3-back formation to try and rescue their season.
Ben is joined by Newcastle fan Sam Mulliner from Newcastle Fans TV, as he looks to gain further knowledge of the Magpies. Sam pinpoints Pukki, Cantwell & Buendia as the main threats to Newcastle, but also reveals his soft spot for former players Tim Krul & Grant Hanley. Stating that it's important his team pick up three points against the Canaries, of which he points out Almiron & Hayden as two of Newcastle's better players in recent weeks. Make sure you go and follow Sam (@SamMulliner) & Newcastle Fans TV (@NewcastleFansTV) on twitter and also to check out their fine work!
