Join the team comprising of The Podcast king Sir Ray, Sir Dunc, The Golden Pages Tom Wick, Major Tom and The Pidge as they get YOUR reaction from yesterday afternoons (Monday 2nd) win away at Carrow Road in the EFL Championship.
All the fan reaction to everything that the Millwall and Swansea performances were not, without a recognised first team midfielder in the squad the much maligned Gaspar and Bacuna worked really hard in the centre and Gaspar especially was a revelation. 3 at the back worked much better and a breakaway goal caps off a truly professional, hard working away performance and takes 3 points. However the injuries keep racking up and discuss the recurrent hamstring injuries, the other injuries and the suspensions and we all know we cant get carried away but most of all we focus on the warm glow of seeing a Watford side go out and put in a shift, show some character and we say well done to Slaven, the team and the away support that started 2023 in magnificent form! Well done all. COYH!This Podcast has been created and uploaded by Do Not Scratch Your Eyes. The views in this Podcast are not necessarily the views of talkSPORT Hosted on Acast.

Martin O'Neill, OBE won two European Cups as a player for Nottingham Forest under the legendary management duo of Brian Clough and Peter Taylor and earning 64 international caps for Northern Ireland including captaining the side at the 1982 World Cup. As a manager O'Neill became one of the most in-demand leaders of his generation, building a reputation as a deep thinker on the game from his start at Wycombe Wanderers, moving through stints in charge at Norwich City, Leicester City, Celtic, Aston Villa and Sunderland. In 2013, O'Neill was appointed Republic of Ireland manager, with Roy Keane as his assistant, and led them to qualification for the 2016 UEFA European Championship, for only the third time in the nation's history, beating the reigning world champions, Germany in the process. O'Neill remains one of the most interesting and erudite people in football, so it's fitting he's written a book detailing the story of his life and career. In a typically forthright and up front interview Kerry talks to Martin King & Stamford Chidge about his career at Chelsea; his relationship with Ken Bates; playing for England; his best goals and what it was like to hear 40,000 Chelsea supporters chanting “One Kerry Dixon” at Wembley when he was playing for Luton! With 193 goals to his name, Kerry Dixon is Chelsea's third highest goal scorer of all time, behind only Bobby Tambling and Frank Lampard. Over nine seasons between 1983 and 1992, Kerry became one of the best loved players ever to appear for Chelsea.Following near relegation to the Third Division Kerry joined from Reading for £175,000 as John Neal sought to rebuild the team, Kerry scored 34 goals in his first season as Chelsea claimed the Second Division title.Scoring an iconic goal against Arsenal at Highbury in Chelsea's first match back in the top flight, Kerry scored 36 goals to win the Golden Boot and took his Chelsea tally to 70 in just 101 games, earning a call up to the England squad in the process. Kerry was given a start against West Germany and responded by creating a goal for Bryan Robson before scoring two of his own as England beat the Germans for the first time in over a decade.A serious muscle injury in January 1986 hampered both Kerry and Chelsea's tilt at winning the title and a mere two years later, Chelsea found themselves back in Division two. Although player unrest nearly led to Kerry's departure, Chelsea and Kerry bounced back with Kerry scoring 25 league goals as he won the Second Division title for the second time. Kerry went on to score 26 goals on Chelsea's return to Division One as we finished fifth, our highest position since 1970.In March 1992, Kerry's 193rd, and final, goal in a Chelsea shirt was a a spectacular shot from the edge of the box to beat Norwich City. That summer he was sold for £575, 000 to SouthamptonBut that wasn't quite the final moment in the love affair between Chelsea and Kerry Dixon. When Chelsea faced Luton Town and Wembley for the 1994 FA Cup semi-final, lining up at centre-forward for Luton that day was a certain Kerry Dixon. At the end of the match that Chelsea won 2-0, Chelsea supporters massed broke off from their celebrations to pay a final tribute to one of the club's favourite sons, 40, 000 voices rightly proclaiming that there really was ‘only one Kerry Dixon'. A fitting tribute to a true Chelsea legend. With 193 goals in total to his name, Dixon is Chelsea's third highest goal scorer of all time, behind only Bobby Tambling and Frank Lampard. He is also eighth in the club's all-time appearances list. His two Second Division championship medals being his only honours with the club. Hosted on Acast. In 1974, a small Midlands underwear firm changed soccer forever when it won the contract as official kit supplier for England's national team - featuring a tradition-busting combination of bright colors, definitional striping, and, uniquely, prominently positioned manufacturer's logos on both shirt and shorts. Admiral Sportswear's bold designs and distinctive branding - soon outfitting storied club sides like Manchester United, Leicester City, Norwich City, West Ham, and Sheffield United - quickly caught fans' attention with their detailed "replica" versions, which offered the most ardent supporters a novel opportunity to literally dress like their favorite pro players. Sports documentarian/author Andy Wells ("Get Shirty: The Rise & Fall of Admiral Sportswear") tells us the story of how Admiral unwittingly invented today's now-multi-billion-dollar replica jersey industry - while revolutionizing the worlds of sports commerce and street fashion alike. If you followed any of the franchises from the late 1970s/early 1980s North American Soccer League or Major Indoor Soccer League (or even the American Soccer League's Columbus Magic) - chances are you remember (or even owned) an Admiral shirt!
