The Championship has a funny way of catching you on the chin just as you begin to think you may be onto something - as Norwich City found out against Birmingham at Carrow Road on Saturday. A false start in the opening 20 minutes proved costly as the Canaries fell to their second home defeat of 2026 to end a run of eight wins in 10 matches. Alongside that setback, there has finally been a breakthrough in the Josh Sargent saga, with the American poised to complete an initial £17m move to MLS side Toronto after weeks of standoff. That fee could rise to north of £20m through 'achievable' add-ons. Join Connor Southwell, Paddy Davitt and comeback kid Adam Harvey to reflect on City's Blues blow in the latest Pink Un podcast.**Picture: Focus Images Ltd***You can also hear the Pink Un Podcast on Norwich's Community radio station, Future Radio 107.8FM.***To get in touch with the podcast now and in future, send any comments and questions into the crew with an email to norfolksport@archant.co.uk or get in touch with us @pinkun on Twitter, where our direct messages are open. And if you're interested in sponsoring the pod, or placing an advert in one of our shows, email connor.southwell@newsquest.co.ukALSO FIND US AT THE FOLLOWING:Subscribe: pinkun.com/podcastTwitter: twitter.com/pinkunFacebook: fb.me/thepinkunInstagram: instagram.com/the_pinkunFind more details on how you can sign up to Pink Un + here: https://www.pinkun.com/pinkunplus/#ncfc #norwichcity #podcast

It's all happening for Canadians playing in Europe - for better and for worse. To start with the good, Ali Ahmed can't seem to set a foot wrong for Norwich City, and that's great news for him and his ambitions of starting World Cup games for Canada this summer. Unfortunately, though, the same can't be said for Cyle Larin, who looks set to leave Feyenoord after a quiet loan spell in the Netherlands. Safe to say, given how the last year has gone for him, this next move is going to be a big one for him as he battles just to stay in Canada's World Cup plans. Otherwise, Stephen Eustáquio faces a tough decision - staying at Porto, a club that means a lot to him despite his declining role on the pitch, or finding a new place to play with the World Cup just around the corner. Brendan Dunlop and Alexandre Gangue-Ruzic dive into all those stories in a Canadians Abroad-heavy episode. 1:30 Ali Ahmed's hot start at Norwich continues9:30 Should Stephen Eustáquio leave Porto?19:00 What's next for Cyle Larin? Wolfie looks into Forest's latest transfer news and could Dan Ndoye be leaving already? Subscribe to TFN https://www.youtube.com/@TheFootyNetwork?sub_confirmation=1 The January transfer window is heating up and a sensational "swap deal" is reportedly being discussed between the City Ground and the San Siro. With Inter Milan stepping up their interest in Forest's Swiss winger Dan Ndoye, reports from Italy suggest that Forest are trying to use that leverage to finally land long-term target Davide Frattesi. The Italian international midfielder has been on the recruitment team's radar for over a year, but with Inter chasing the Scudetto and Ndoye's stock rising after his Euro 2024 performances, how realistic is this exchange? Beyond the glamour of the San Siro, Forest are also looking closer to home to bolster the squad. We have fresh updates on another long-term target currently plying his trade at Norwich City. With the Canaries potentially looking to cash in on their prized assets to fund their own promotion push, Forest are reportedly weighing up a formal bid to bring some much-needed creativity to Trentside. Is this the January "wildcard" signing we've been waiting for, or just another name added to the ever-growing shortlist? As the pressure builds on the recruitment team to deliver, we want to hear from you. Would you sacrifice Dan Ndoye if it meant finally seeing Davide Frattesi in a Forest shirt, or is the Swiss international too vital to our survival hopes to let go? And regarding the Norwich link—is he the right profile to improve our attacking output, or should we be looking for more established Premier League experience? We're back with another AFTN Soccer Show packed full of Vancouver Whitecaps, Vancouver FC, and World Cup 2026 chat and interviews in our first podcast of 2026. A new year, new hopes, new dreams, but the same fantastic podcast content! The Whitecaps finished last year and started this one with a couple of big stories. Another player has moved on, with winger Ali Ahmed being sold to English Championship side Norwich City. Certainly not the sale of the century, we look at the transfer and what it means to both the 'Caps and to Ali. Plus we delve into the announcement that the Whitecaps have agreed a proposed settlement to a class action lawsuit around Messi's no-show in the Vancouver in 2024. Talking of court cases, we also look at former Vancouver FC head coach Afshin Ghotbi suing the club's owners SixFive Sports and Entertainment, plus we look at how Zach is feeling about the side as they head into the new year, both on and off the pitch. It's an exciting World Cup year, even more so with both Canada and Scotland being in the tournament and Vancouver and Toronto hosting matches. We've a lot of World Cup 2026 chat in this episode as Vancouver organizing committee lead Jessie Adcock talks about Vancouver's preparedness for welcoming the world to the city for the tournament and gives us some details on the Fanfest. The curtains falls on a festive period of mixed emotions and potentially missed opportunities for Norwich City. Philippe Clement's men suffered a second successive Carrow Road defeat to Stoke on Sunday to miss a chance to move out of the Championship's relegation zone for the first time since October. With a difficult playing surface, a new signing in attendance and lots of hard work ahead - Norwich are about to enter a critical phase of their Championship survival mission. Join Connor Southwell, Paddy Davitt and Sam Seaman to reflect on the festive period and take stock of their progress under Clement. ** Picture: Focus Images Ltd *** You can also hear the Pink Un Podcast on Norwich's Community radio station, Future Radio 107.8FM. *** To get in touch with the podcast now and in future, send any comments and questions into the crew with an email to norfolksport@archant.co.uk or get in touch with us @pinkun on Twitter, where our direct messages are open. It's the most wonderful time of the year. For Norwich City, they will need to turn the festive opportunity into results to ease their Championship relegation worries. A 1-1 draw against Preston, despite the late concession, represented a positive start to the Christmas schedule - Norwich will be targeting wins over Charlton and Watford before a New Year's Day trip to QPR. Join Connor Southwell and Paddy Davitt to reflect on their Deepdale point and discuss the key talking points from Lancashire. We would like to wish everyone a Happy Christmas!
