CHIPO CHUNG - Mary Magdalene Chipo Chung stars as Mary Magdalene in NBC’s drama series “A.D. The Bible Continues.” Chung has appeared in several series, including “Camelot” and “Sherlock,” but is best known for her role in the BBC series “Doctor Who” alongside David Tennant. Chung has performed in a variety of powerful theatrical productions, such as the critically acclaimed production of “Phedre” (with Helen Mirren at the National Theatre in London), “Talking to Terrorists,” “The Overwhelming,” and “Fallujah,” in which she played Condoleezza Rice. ADAM LEVY - Peter Adam Levy stars as Peter in NBC’s drama series “A.D. The Bible Continues.” Levy is an English actor known for his roles in “Gladiator” and the 1998 British period drama “The Governess,” alongside Minnie Driver. He recently starred opposite Nicole Kidman and Colin Firth in the feature film “Before I Go to Sleep.” Levy has an extensive theater background. He has performed in classics such as “Romeo & Juliet,” “The Winter’s Tale,” “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and “As You Like It.” Levy starred as Bentivolio in the Italian TV series “Borgia,” which is available on Netflix.
