Guess which Oscar winner will be fêted at the Hamptons International Film Festival this year. (Hint: she might arrive via umbrella.) At 4:44: Either Hollister was kidnapped, or she snuck out and saw Snatched. Is the Amy Schumer-Goldie Hawn vehicle a Trainwreck? 9:34: O'Toole picks Cactus Flower (1969) - and Goldie Hawn's Oscar-winning turn - as this week's #BlastFromThePastFilm. Don't miss this clip - a dance scene with Goldie Hawn and Ingrid Bergman (yes, that Ingrid Bergman). Then it's on to pure genius (the non-dancing variety). 10:06: This week's #ListOfSix: Our 6 Favorite Math/Science Movies. 20:45: National Geographic's first foray into dramatic programming: Genius, a 10-episode series re-teaming the Oscar-winning duo of Executive Producers Ron Howard and Brian Grazer (A Beautiful Mind; Apollo 13). Based on Einstein: His Life and Universe by Walter Isaacson; starring Oscar-winner Geoffrey Rush as the older Einstein. O'Toole shares her 3 favorite Einstein facts (only one involves his brain). 32:49: Hollister on HBO's documentary Becoming Warren Buffett - which she might actually do, if she watches it one more time. (O'Toole is holding out for a mention of Dairy Queen.) 38:10: A stain on our history: Screen Thoughts discusses the documentary Relocation, Arkansas: Aftermath of Incarceration. Hollister interviews director (and author of Camp Nine) Vivienne Schiffer. Available on The World Channel and select PBS stations.

On this week’s episode, the guys stumble onto a question for actor Ken Marino that they never knew they had, while discussing DVD menus. After briefly reviving their time-honored hey-o gag during some pre-show shenanigans, they delve into the week’s movies. First, Kris briefly shares the adrenaline rush he felt watching John Woo’s FACE/OFF (at 5:51) with a very appreciative crowd on the big screen following a Nicolas Cage-themed burlesque show. Next, Dave describes the documentary RISK (at 12:05), which fortunately isn’t from the people who brought you BATTLESHIP. Instead it’s a sparsely narrated chronicle about WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange with more lawyers on screen than you can count. Lastly, Evan and Kris review the Amy Schumer/Goldie Hawn comedy SNATCHED (at 32:04), an uneven film that pulls back in strange places and doubles down in what the heck ways. As a special treat, stay tuned after the closing for a mini sing along the guys had when they got on the mic this week.
In this Mother's Day edition of The Binge, we review three new releases about mothers both in peril and imperiling: the Amy Schumer-Goldie Hawn comedy SNATCHED, Guy Ritchie's irreverent action flick KING ARTHUR: LEGEND OF THE SWORD, and the intense Australian captivity thriller HOUNDS OF LOVE.
In the grand tradition of the famous Hope Crosby Road Movies our podcast eminates from exotic mid-town New York where Bill McCuddy was gracious enough to host Neil Rosen and Bill Bregoli in his well-apointed apartment overlooking 7th Avenue and Carnegie Hall. Ah, but there's more to this than a fancy location - we also take a look at the new Guy Ritchie directed film "King Arthur : Legend of the Sword." And you'll hear what stars Charile Hunnam and Djimon have to say about it. Plus there's the new Amy Schumer - Goldie Hawn comedy "Snatched." Is it as classy as its name? Plus Bill McCuddy talks about the new film from up and coming starlet Bel Powley (if you don't believe me check out how many films she has coming on IMDB) called "Carrie Pilby." Neil fills you in on what's happening with "Talking Pictures" and what he likes on TV. We've got a classy address and it's right here.
