In 2019 I reviewed a film called Mob Town, a mafia movie released the same year as Martin Scorsese's The Irishman, directed by and starring Danny A. Abeckaser, who also starred in The Irishman alongside Robert De Niro. I gave the film a poor review, and recently Abeckaser contacted me and responded to my review.See a video version of this podcast on my YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=12aUZDjw240&t=49s NEW PODCAST EVERY MONDAY & FRIDAY Subscribe to my YouTube Channel for more content: https://www.youtube.com/user/TheBlah95 Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/user?u=8580945 Twitter: https://twitter.com/CineRanter
My review of Mob Town (2019). This is a film directed by Danny A. Abeckaser about the infamous Apalachin mob meeting in 1957. It is truely a terrible movie, but one with such bad acting and cringe-worthy lines it made me laugh. A film that sums up the phrase 'so bad it's good'.
