In this episode of The Powerful Creator Show, I interview Margot Potter. Writer, Actress, Vocalist, Design Expert, and On-Camera Talent, Margot Potter has published seven books on jewelry making and design and an e-book on personal branding. She's worked with and designed for most of the biggest companies in DIY including Joann Fabrics, Michaels, AC Moore Stores, Plaid Crafts, iLoveToCreate, Beadalon, and Swarovski. With hundreds of hours onstage and in live unscripted TV, she co-hosted weekly DIY on the FLY craft segments on WBIR Channel 10 Knoxville's Live at Five at Four, appeared on QVC as a guest product expert for over 11 years, was a contestant on TLC's Craft Wars, and a DIY Star Finalist on Home and Family TV. She's fronted rock bands, played some of the greatest roles in the classical theatrical canon, keynoted at fancy pants events, sold millions of dollars of products on live TV, created iconic jewelry designs that have been knocked off ad infinitum, and taught herself how to build websites, edit videos, and navigate the ever shifting complexities of internet promotion. Her first full length humor book Fifty and Other F-words: Reflections From the Rearview Mirror with Sterling Publishing debuted May 1, 2018. Never afraid to tell it like it is, Margot is a refreshingly real personality sparkling in a sea of so-so sameness. Equally comfortable at the writer's desk, in the design studio, onstage or in front of the camera, she's a Jill of All Trades or a Renaissance Woman depending on which day you ask her. We get real and talk about everything from creativity, menopause, the pros and cons of life on social media, botox, and how Facebook may or may not be listening in on us.You can find here at https://www.margotpotter.com Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/MargotPotter/IG: https://www.instagram.com/margotpotter/
