Join Paul and Tim for some mischievous monkery as they review the last story of season two, “The Time Meddler”. This episode they’re joined by Doctor Who author and missing episodes researcher Jon Preddle, the driving force behind www.broadwcast.org. After talking about his research in general, Jon provides fascinating and expert insight into the bicycling system used to distribute Doctor Who, the sales process and NZ censorship. We then see the tip of of his research iceberg into that most fruitful of countries for missing episodes, Nigeria, where "The Time Meddler" was found in the 1980s. We're not a mountain goat, but we prefer podcasting to any day, so pop us on your anachronistic gramophone and give us a listen! (And besides, we hate climbing.) If you enjoy this podcast, we'd love it if you shared it on social media to help us find our audience! Tim is on Twitter @drwhopodcasters, Paul @mrpaulmorris and please do come and like our Facebook page. This free podcast borrows snippets of music from “Marche, Les Structures Sonores” – Lasry Baschet and a bunch of monks singing Secundae Vesperae in Narivitate. There’s also a woeful homage to Carry on Camping. And yes, Tim does know that Talbot Rothwell didn’t write ALL of the Carry On Films… he got overexcited.
Episode 46 – Jon Preddle, author of the continuity guide Timelink and the BROADWCAST website, is our special guest this episode. Jon discusses setting up BROADWCAST, his online guide for Doctor Who worldwide transmissions and foreign airdates. We chat about how his research helped set up BROADWCAST, and some of the fan myths he has debunked. Jon Preddle can be found on Twitter @JonPreddle and BROADWCAST can be found at http://broadwcast.org/ and on Twitter @DrWhoBroaDWcast

Day two of Gallifrey One 2014, and the bright eye of the Three Who Rule cast its fiery, lidless wrath upon the missing episodes. Steven and Chris interview Restoration Team head and video genius Steve Roberts on his own, and missing episode experts Damian Shanahan and Jon Preddle together. But lest you think we’re all about dusty old stories of yesteryear (which, let’s be honest, we sort of are) we also have Erika Ensign of the Verity Podcast and Jason Snell, the impresario behind The Incomparable podcast. So sit back, relax and let the good feelings flow over you as we bring you the finest bits of Gally straight from our mice to your ears. Check out the show notes at http://www.radiofreeskaro.com
