Das Mixtape: Tocotronic - 1993 Blind Melon - No Rain Pearl Jam - Go Counting Crows - Raining in Baltimore Mick Jagger - Don´t Tear Me Up Culture Beat - Mr. Vain Cop Shoot Cop - $ 10 Bill Nirvana - Pennyroyal Tea Aerosmith - Cryin´ Earth - Teeth Of Lions Rule The Divine Teenage Fanclub - Hold On The Breeders - Cannonball Mazzy Star - Fade Into You Red Hot Chili Peppers - Soul to Squeeze The Lemonheads - Into Your Arms George Michael - Killer / Papa was a Rollin´ Stone Das Video zu Cryin´ von Aerosmith: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qfNmyxV2Ncw

Master podcaster Steven Schapansky (@RadioFreeSkaro) and Doctor Who Historian Jon Preddle (https://broadwcast.org/) join to help analyse this most seminal of stories, as Season 3 draws to a close and Doctor Who marches on in a new format under Innes Lloyd and Gerry Davis. In this podcast, Clara Munro is joined by Flo Wedmore and new panelist Jason Ramsingh, a surgical trainee in Newcastle. "Investors should use scaling-in and scaling-out techniques in more volatile markets. Trade more ETFs and fewer individual equities as nearly evert ETF is less volatile than any of its individual stocks. Fleming weighs in on the U.S. Dollar coming off multi-decade highs, which could cause the stock market to rebound.

Fleming also weighs in on growth stocks being rejuvenated even in a bear market.
"I am a big believer in using scaling-in and scaling-out techniques, but especially in more volatile markets. Investors should trade more ETFs and fewer individual equities as nearly every ETF is less volatile than any of its individual components. Buying the dips and selling the rips is not bad, but you should only do it in small quantities," says Rob Fleming. The classroom is an essential part of a child's social, academic and mental development, and that's why we are working hard to ensure students can safely spend the next school year with their teachers and classmates,” said Rob Fleming, Minister of Education. “We were the only jurisdiction in Canada that brought students back into the classroom provincewide before the end of the school year and this has given us valuable information that we are using to develop our plans, ensuring health and safety at schools remain paramount
The school year is officially in the rear view mirror. It was an unorthodox year with COVID-19 forcing kids to learn from home. Of course many voluntarily went back to class on a part time basis during the month of June. BC's Minister of Education Rob Fleming joins me on this.
Guest host Jody Vance is joined by Rob Fleming, BC Minister of Education, to discuss the announcement that schools will reopen on June 1st. Guest: Rob Fleming, BC Minister of Education
There have been lots of concerns raised after the Province announced a June 1st plan to return to schools in a limited capacity. We chat with Rob Fleming and pose tough questions about the rollout.
It's one of the huge question marks on the minds of so many. When do we go back to school? Lots of parents are antsy, kids especially so. Rob Fleming joined us.
What is the plan for the opening school? How will the Ministry of Education keep both children and teachers safe? Will all teachers be tested for Covid19? What about social distancing and class size
We were sent some new music from a publicist who is very supportive of our show and often connects with great bands so we can bring them to you. A few weeks ago, she sent along a link to check out Crowd Company's latest release "Lowdon". Initially heard this band was based in the UK. Having said that they are immensely talented and have some true funk chops but also a few friends who helped make this record. In fact, the record was produced by Alan Evans, a member of Soulive in his studio in the Boston area. Also, you may not instantly recognize the horns, but they are in fact, Lettuce's Ryan Zoidis and Eric "Benny" Bloom. They are absolutely outstanding. So obviously we wanted to learn more about this band and got in touch with Rob Fleming, the lead vocalist and guitar in the band and for all intents and purposes, the band's leader. You can learn more about Crowd Company by visiting crowdcompanyfunk.com. First Song: 01:01 - Express 76 Interview Begins: 03:53 Extro Song: 22:09 - Lowdon See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
I met up with wonderful wildlife photographer Rob Fleming, better know as @robswildlondon on his stunning Instagram account (check it out!). Rob kindly and bravely agreed to chat about his mental health journey and how picking up a camera and rediscovering nature and wildlife that he enjoyed as a child has helped him switch off, be mindful and ultimately heal.Male mental health is rarely discussed so openly, and as someone with a similar experience of using my camera and nature as therapy during a period of depression in my life, I found Rob's candid discussion really inspiring. We get a teeny bit technical about wildlife photography and the species we find along our walk, but mostly we enjoyed sharing our stories and bringing an online friendship into real life for the first time.Sean's Wild Life podcast is produced and edited by Thomas Ntinas. BC's Education Minister, Rob Fleming, has announced $21 million in funding to go towards seismic upgrades at Holly Elementary and George Greenaway Elementary. Students are returning to schools in the city today, with at least 1,000 more children expected. That means 28 more portable classrooms, bringing the total to 361. Meanwhile, BC's teachers still don't have a deal, as the talks between the Teachers' Federation and the province have been paused, with mediation set to continue on September 23rd. That's prompted the spokesperson for the Surrey District Parent Advisory Council to call for Surrey to be bargaining alone because of the size of the district. Guest: Doug Strachan Communication Services manager for Surrey Schools District

BC's Education Minister, Rob Fleming, has issued a statement on the problems that have been happening with Grade 12 exams, and students being issued incorrect grades on their transcripts. He says the problems have been resolved, and is assuring families that this will NOT have an impact on students' admission to colleges and universities. ‘Human error' is being blamed for the problem, and Fleming says it happened when “data was being manually transferred between systems.” But one parent we spoke to says she was only able to gain access to the transcripts in the past hour - she even stayed up until the early hours of this morning trying to log in to the website and wasn't able to get access to the transcripts. We asked for an interview with Minister Fleming today and we were told he is not available. Guest: Jay Chalke BC Ombudsperson

You coast through life thinking you're invincible, until suddenly you're in your thirties and your whole life is stagnating. And though neither Ryan or Callum are quite at that point yet, there's plenty to reflect on in their own lives as they read one of their all time favourite books, Nick Hornby's 'High Fidelity'. For you see, both of your hosts are dangerously close to the big 3-0, so while this book was the epitome of cool when they were teenagers, the parallels are getting a bit too real for them nowadays. In fact, the scenarios that protagonist Rob Fleming endures would have an uncomfortable air of familiarity for any male who's negotiating the tail end of their youth. Still, that doesn't stop 'High Fidelity' being a cracking book, as there's more to it than an existential crisis. Music, mates, humour and London are just a few of the things that make you appreciate its brilliance. So join them as they reminisce and compare and hopefully not take the lessons too seriously. Spoilers and swearing throughout.
We catch up with provincial New Democrat environment critic Rob Fleming just as he's leaving to attend the climate change talks in Copenhagen. Canadian Restaurant and Food Services Association Western vice-president Mark von Shellwitz discusses his campaign against the harmonized sales tax. First Call provincial coordinator Adrienne Montani talks about a controversial Canadian submission to the United Nations. And our rabble-rousing panel - Don Anderson, David Cubberley, Bob Russell and Allan Warnke - debate the week that was in provincial and federal politics.
