We're back, right before Halloween, and talking about the upcoming elections next week, ICE ghouls, an overturned truckload of aggressive and infected monkeys, Trump cutting SNAP benefits, Grindr Mike, and Trump tearing down the east wing of the White House to build a ballroom. We're also talking about the latest episode of the Chair Company, the pilot of Welcome to Derry, and a couple of movies we saw over the weekend – Bring Her Back and Weapons. It's right before Halloween and in a couple of days about one in eight Americans will lose their ability to purchase food. And we're still going on about that. Recorded on October 30, 2025. It came from an unexpected place.Windows 11 Week D arrives with a massive Preview Update for 24H2 and 25H2 - including the new Start menu, finally Copy & Search, Voice typing improvements, Proactive Memory Diagnostics, more in Dev and Beta Copilot Vision in Copilot app updated with text input and output across all Insider channels Intel earnings are great unless you understand how numbers work Microsoft 365 Australia regulator sues Microsoft over misleading Microsoft 365 consumer pricing Copilot is being integrated into the People, Files, and Calendar companion apps for Microsoft 365 commercial On the day Microsoft will report earnings, Microsoft 365 and Azure went down. Hilarious! AI OpenAI completes its transition to a for-profit owned by a non-profit Microsoft's stake is 27 percent. A lot has changed in the Microsoft/OpenAI partnership agreement WSJ finally calls out Microsoft for its lack of financial reporting transparency. Paul's been complaining about that for over a decade - Big Tech has became a shell game. These companies are managing money they don't even have and actual products and services and "real" value be damned Big Copilot feature dump for consumers with a human touch: Mico, Copilot Groups, memory improvements, connectors, Proactive Actions in preview, Copilot for Health, Copilot in Edge improvements, and Copilot in Windows updates from last week Microsoft 365 Copilot is getting App Builder and Workflow agents GitHub Copilot to support third-party AI agents Grammarly rebrands as Superhuman Xbox and gaming Credible report claims Microsoft requires Xbox/Microsoft Gaming to deliver 30 percent profit margin That is impossible and this is clearly coming from Amy Hood and has led to the ensh*ttification of Xbox as a platform As Microsoft launches first gaming handhelds, all anyone wants to talk about is the next-generation Xbox console. It started with Sarah Bond last week - "very premium" console with "curated" experience Phil Spencer discusses it this week, who implied Windows at the heart of console The rumor mill churns up - Will be Windows, as we've said, will drop multiplayer paywall that debuted in 2002 Now Satya Nadella is commenting on the next console, confirms publisher focus for this business Halo: Campaign Evolved is coming in 2026, new features, new Unreal Engine graphics, new PS5 compatibility Also, The Outer Worlds 2 is now available. Kybernetická bezpečnosť už dávno nie je len o antivíruse a heslách. Hoci sa firmy na Slovensku v základnej hygiene zlepšili, mnohé stále podceňujú sofistikovanejšie hrozby. Často investujú do pokročilých technológií, no nemajú kvalifikovaných ľudí, ktorí by ich vedeli správne vyhodnocovať a manažovať. Notice a time when you've experienced innocence. (Tip: dogs, cats, babies and little kids are a good touchstone for this kind of experience.) What did it bring up within you? In this group inquiry, participants become aware of a sense of openness, levity, and joy, as well as a sense of wanting to protect and care for that innocence. And then Tom asks this question: Is it true that you are not that innocent? Can you absolutely know you are not innocent in that exact way? What is your experience of the world when you believe this of yourself and the rest of humanity? After joining in this inquiry, you might notice the next time you have that experience (whether it's one of guilt, blame, self-condemnation, or any withholding of love) it's easier to just say, “Oops, I did it again. I believed I'm not that innocent.”

Welcome back to YOUR Wednesday night conversation! The season premiere of Live! with Fefe & Freddy kicked off with laughter, real talk, and a few “WTF?!” moments as Felicia “Fefe” Minor and Freddy Prinze Charming returned for Season 14.The duo caught up after their summer break—covering Freddy's 20th year in drag, Pride season highlights, and Fefe's busy summer balancing family, events, and trivia nights. This week's “Just the Tip” segment dives into the chaos (and comedy) of cohabitating with teenagers—where communication gets tested, patience gets stretched, and no one ever answers a simple question directly. From driving permits to household chores, Fefe and Freddy share honest, hilarious insights about parenting through it all.In “A Closer Look at Current Events,” the hosts react to headline oddities, including RFK Jr.'s brain worm confession, George Santos' commuted sentence, and a surprising White House renovation that has everyone talking. The episode wraps up with a lively conversation with special guest Christine Vibrant, followed by the outrageous after-show game, “This or That,” featuring truly questionable (and hysterical) would-you-rathers.Oct 23 – Drag Bingo at Drink Me! Use coupon code LEVELUP and get $50 off the new Lab 2.0 Watch the 'Winning Money in Multiway Pots' episode on YouTube Mike Brady and Gary Blackwood reveal the five most profitable bluffing spots in poker that every serious player should master. Learn how to identify and exploit bluffing opportunities—like paired boards, delayed c-bets, and favorable runouts—to outthink your opponents and win more pots. View the written version of this episode here. 00:00 Tip 1 05:06 Tip 2 09:15 Tip 3 12:28 Tip 4 16:03 Tip 5 In this episode of the Upswing Poker Level-Up, hosts Mike Brady and Scottish pro Gary Blackwood break down the five most effective bluffing spots that every player can add to their arsenal to win more pots and play with greater confidence. The discussion opens with an emphasis on fundamentals—identifying bluff spots rooted in sound theory rather than intuition or live reads. The first bluffing spot focuses on check-raising paired flops after defending from the big blind. Gary and Mike explain how solvers recommend surprisingly wide check-raises on boards like Ten-Ten-Deuce or Queen-Deuce-Deuce, creating highly profitable situations since opponents rarely defend correctly. They highlight how these bluffs succeed because most players don't realize how often they should be calling with weaker holdings or backdoor draws. Next, they explore delayed continuation betting—a powerful bluff when your opponent checks twice. By analyzing real game scenarios, they demonstrate that when a flop and turn go check-check, the opponent's range is “capped,” meaning it contains few strong hands. This opens a prime opportunity to apply pressure through wide and aggressive turn bets. The third major bluff spot covers probe betting on the turn after your opponent checks back on a dynamic flop. Here, they challenge conventional solver logic by showing that most human players fail to check strong hands as often as theory dictates. As a result, when they check back, they're often weak, making probe bets—especially with draws and backdoor equity—highly effective. Bluff spot number four focuses on attacking when the board texture shifts dramatically in your favor. When a turn or river card favors your range—for instance, completing potential straights or two-pair combinations—you can lead aggressively, even out of position. The hosts emphasize how understanding range advantage allows you to “donk bet” profitably in these scenarios. The final bluff spot centers on barreling when draws complete and you hold key blockers. Using the Ten-Six-Deuce-Three-Queen board as an example, they show how triple-barrel bluffs with hands like Ace-Five with the Ace of diamonds can be extremely powerful because they block potential flushes while representing strong hands. Dr. Caroline Fleck shares with Gabby Reece the #1 communication skill from psychology (DBT) you need to master: VALIDATION. Learn how this essential relationship tool will transform your marriage, parenting, and friendships. The psychologist & author of Validation breaks down the exact steps to build deep connection, manage conflict, and achieve emotional regulation. In this powerful episode of The Gabby Reece Show, host Gabby Reece and Dr. Caroline Fleck, a clinical psychologist and author of the book Validation: How the skillset that revolutionized psychology will transform your relationship, increase your influence, and change your life, discuss the profound impact of true validation. Validation is more than just listening or feeling empathy; it is a communication skill that must be mastered to truly convey understanding and acceptance. Dr. Fleck reveals why this essential skill is typically only taught in advanced doctoral psychology programs (Dialectical Behavior Therapy or DBT) and how you can apply it to your everyday life to build stronger bonds and reduce conflict. Key Takeaways You'll Learn: The crucial difference between "problem-solving" and "validation" in real-life scenarios, especially with children. The six levels of validation (the "validation ladder") and how to use them to instantly improve your communication. Practical strategies for managing intense emotions and conflict using DBT's TIP skills (Temperature, Intense Exercise, Paced Breathing). The power of a genuine apology, even as a parent, to model the behavior you want your kids to learn. How to disclose your own experience to connect without overshadowing the other person's pain (the "flip it back" technique). Don't miss these evidence-based strategies for better communication and personal transformation!
