Su trabajo docente le llevo a Cracovia. Allí residió tres meses. Cracovia es un ciudad del sur de Polonia cercana a la frontera con la República Checa, es conocida por su centro medieval bien conservado y su barrio judío. Su ciudad antigua, rodeada por el parque Planty y los restos de las murallas medievales de la ciudad, tiene su centro en la Plaza del Mercado. En esta plaza se encuentran la lonja de los Paños, un punto comercial de la era del Renacimiento, y la basílica de Santa María, una iglesia gótica del siglo XIV.
