This is the second day of my trip. I hit several places I hadn't made yesterday. I do my In the Kitchen With Laura (Pioneer Version) and check out the rest of the Family Festival. I visit the Wheels Across the Prairie Museum in Tracy, Minnesota. Then I end the night with "Fragments of a Dream" the Walnut Grove pageant.

We took the scenic route on our way home from Nebraska. Even though it took a little longer it was well worth it because we happened upon, thanks to my husband, the Little House on the Prairie Museum in Kansas. Sometimes in life it is okay to go the fast way. Other times you can see more of the things God made for you to enjoy and be thankful for when you go the slow route.
This summer we only have one Laura Ingalls Wilder event scheduled this summer and it was on August 1st at the Little House on the Prairie Museum site in Independence, KS. Then we'll check in on what events are still scheduled for this fall at the Laura Ingalls Wilder Home and Museum in Mansfield, MO. After that we'll check in on the online activities this summer especially the online pageant episodes in De Smet, SD and Mansfield, MO.
