Faithless Brewing, Episode 83: Sea Gate Stormcaller Snapcaster Mage has been with us since 2011. In those ten years, we have learned an important lesson: Accept no substitutes! New printings might aspire to the throne, but no one can topple the King of Snap. So what does that mean for a card like Sea Gate Stormcaller? The stats are similar, but the play pattern is entirely different: Stormcaller plays at sorcery speed, and only works on small spells that are still in your hand. The upside? You get a very tempo-positive turn, and a copy effect that interacts favorably with additional costs like Neoform or Village Rites. Stormcaller is a challenge to be sure, but a potentially rewarding one if we can crack the code. Time to put on our brewing caps and head to the queues! Decklists for Episode 83 Like our content? Your Lore Guys are back to walk through the process of relic creation. In a nation where the weather dictates your progress, whoever controls the horn controls the nation. Now lets find out how this old piece of shit works.
Birds, Bones and Swain are back with another episode of the podcast for all things Destiny PvP. Subscribe on iTunes / Subscribe on RSS / Discuss on the Playbook The boys are aware that this episode drops a day before the GO FAST update - a patch that has heavy implications for D2, and more than enough expectations. Rather than guess and wonder, we're handing the stage off to our special guest this week, Ryth0m, who joins us for a nostalgic chat about Desiny's past, present and future - and how he's become the fastest Stormcaller around. Episode 96 brings Blue and Justin back together to discuss the electrifying figures of the Stormcaller Warlocks. Blue also takes a few minutes at the start of the show to discuss some developments that had been posted about over on the website for those who might not be in the Discord chat (jump in if you're not!) - so please be sure to weigh in on that as well! As always, the pair bring a sense of humor to the topic, and we truly hope you enjoy the conversation about those wielders of space magic who have a strong tendency to make it rain. As usual, thank you again for giving our ramblings a listen! Please be sure to let us know how we're doing over on iTunes or through the below email. Birds, Bones and Swain are back with another episode of the podcast for all things Destiny PvP. Subscribe on iTunes / Subscribe on RSS / Discuss on the Playbook This week, Nightstalker main Birds has been playing a lot of Warlock lately and decides to turn to Bones for some advice. Between Voidwalker and Stormcaller, it seems like Warlocks have some really powerful kits these days. Later, Crucible Radio is joined by the developers of Destiny Item Manager and Destiny Tracker to discuss a new weapons rating system that will allow all Destiny players to figure out whether or not that Eyasluna in their vault is a god roll or not! Ed, Producer Al and Del take a look Gaie Sebold's Sparrow Falling and then end up talking about naughty schools of all different types. We also interview Peter F Hamilton about his new book, A Night Without Stars. The team opens the book box, and quickly discuss The First Heretic by Aaron Dembski-Bown, The Throne of Glass Colouring Book, Joe Abercrombie’s The Blade Itself, Scott Lynch’s The Lies of Locke Lamora, Brandon Sanderson’s The Final Empire and Tom Lloyd’s The Stormcaller, and of course the Hayne's Manual for the Millennium Falcon. All recordings are issued under official license from Fab Radio International. The Bookworm is a Truly Outrageous Production.

Episode 30 brings Blue, Justin, Willy, and special guest MesaSean together to delve into the lore of the Warlock class of Guardians within Destiny. We break down the subclasses (and discuss in detail how much more powerful the Stormcaller feels both on a receiving side of the attacks and the giving side) as well as touch on the known Warlocks from within the game with a brief summary on each of them (including status - for those of you keeping score). Note here that many of the items are found within the map of the chat (found below), and due to the large number of those items, there were some that weren't mentioned. As usual, please let us know any feedback you have or any questions that you might want us to start considering for our upcoming Lore 101 and Spinfoil Corner series by emailing us at FocusedFireChat@gmail.com or on twitter @FocusedFireChat. Be sure to also jump over to iTunes to give us a quick review on how we're doing - we are also available on the Destiny Community Hub app, as well as Google Play Music. Matthew, Derek, and Ian chase down the player cards of the Flight of the Stormcaller and give them the review they so richly deserve. We also debate the merits of the hottest spoiler from the Flame of the West announcement.
