In this powerful message from the Summer Psalms series, Pastor Ben Marshall walks through Psalm 24, inviting us to consider the character of God through the lens of King David's worship. From the opening reminder that “The earth is the Lord's,” we're called to recognize God as Creator—the one who brings order from chaos. But the psalm doesn't stop there. Pastor Ben explores what it means to approach God with clean hands and a pure heart, showing us that God is also Redeemer, offering grace and salvation not through our effort, but through surrender. Finally, we're led to lift our heads and hearts in worship to the King of Glory—Jesus Christ—who is strong, mighty in battle, and worthy of all praise. Whether in the stillness of personal reflection or the corporate celebration of worship, this message challenges us to seek God daily, submit to His will, and welcome Him as King over every part of our lives.

In this message from the Summer Psalms series, Pastor Jeff explores Psalm 103 and the deep, unwavering compassion of God. Through a gripping personal story of a highway accident and the mixed responses of bystanders, we're reminded that human compassion can be unpredictable—but God's compassion never fails. Pastor Jeff unpacks three powerful truths from the psalm: God's tender mercy renews us, His faithful love secures our future, and His sovereign kindness inspires praise. Drawing from David's words, listeners are called to remember God's past faithfulness, respond with wholehearted praise, and personally embrace the grace that transforms hearts and secures eternity. This message is both a challenge and a comfort for anyone seeking hope, renewal, and a deeper relationship with the God whose love never lets go.

The Psalms open with a powerful image of two paths—one that leads to life and fruitfulness, and one that ends in emptiness and ruin. This week in our Summer Psalms series, we're looking at Psalm 1, which calls us to become like a tree that flourishes—deeply rooted, nourished by God's Word, and fruitful in every season. It reminds us that what we delight in shapes who we become. While God invites us into a life of growth and stability, the […] The post Psalm 1, The Two Ways appeared first on Cornerstone Community Church.

In this special outdoor baptism service, Pastor Jeff brings a powerful word from Psalm 63, reminding us that even when everything looks perfect on the outside, our souls can still be dry and parched. Drawing from David's honest cry for God in the desert, Jeff shows how spiritual thirst is not something to ignore—it's a gift that can lead us to real abundance. Through stories both humorous and sobering, from drained lakes to headless cow rumors, we're invited to examine what's beneath the surface of our lives. What are we reaching for when our souls are dry? And are we ready to stop pretending and truly run after God? If you've been feeling empty or distant, this episode is an invitation to lean into that thirst and find your way back to the only source that satisfies.

The Psalms are a collection of songs, prayers, and honest cries to God that give voice to the full range of human experience—joy, sorrow, fear, and hope. They remind us that God invites us to bring our whole selves to Him, even when life feels broken. This Sunday, as we start our Summer Psalms series, we'll begin with Psalm 34—a song written by David in the middle of his own brokenness and fear. When life falls apart, how do you […] The post Psalm 34, Hope Within the Brokenness appeared first on Cornerstone Community Church.

What is true for learning to walk is also true for learning to follow Jesus. What if every pain you've ever faced was simply evidence of something new God was trying to create in you? Join us for Track 4 of The Summer Psalms Mixtape, where we will explore Psalm 69 to see how Jesus' suffering is a model for our own.
