While the big DFS guns go all out on their sets for a Halloween show, RTG brings you two exhausted dads, just in from a night on the frigid streets, dragging kids sugar-high kids around, to preview the WWT championship this week in Mexico. Plus the guys debate "trick or treat... golf style" and whether or not someone will break the 30-under mark at El Cardonal.Featured Beer: Fair State Pils, Surly Darkness, Burial Mesmerizing EndeavorsTwitter: https://twitter.com/RTGPodcastDFSApple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/reading-the-green-golf-dfs-preview-show/id1602706267Amazon Music: https://music.amazon.com/podcasts/6f912341-977f-4601-b077-2fc9f95017c0/reading-the-green-golf-dfs-preview-showSpotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/4FwAeFBzljabmjT4Lx4vXxiHeart: https://www.iheart.com/podcast/269-reading-the-green-golf-dfs-91010010/Stitcher: https://www.stitcher.com/show/reading-the-green-golf-dfs-preview-show
We told you in our Evil Dead Rise review that we wanted to revisit earlier Evil Dead films and here we are making good on our threat! This is a freewheeling chat about the original 1981 classic as well as the 2013 "reimagining". We compare and contrast the two and talk about what makes an Evil Dead film work. We also sip on some Surly Darkness, Logan fulfills a promise from a previous episode, and Dustin has some illuminating thoughts on Men in Black.
Tony Thesing from Hometown Heroes Outdoors, his lovely wife Christa, Brady Abrahamson and myself sit down for another wonderful Flight Companion! Beers tasted....I don't really remember! That's how you know it was a good one. There was a peanut butter stout in there, a really good coffee one...ended with a Surly Darkness...kind of...good thing Tony's couch was only a few steps away. We're back together in the Underground Studio in the new recording room. We talk about some national restaurant news and we also give out some good gift ideas for the holiday. The beer review is Surly Darkness Imperial Stout, and the whiskey review is the new Pinhook High Proof Rye!! Listen up and drink up!! Cheers.
Episode 31! Ain't it fun!Welcome to Nate and Mitch are Friends. On today's episode, you may notice things are a little bit dated because we backlog! You may hear elements of holiday talk during this hour and some odd minutes. As with most every episode, the drinks we're sipping get discussed in detail. Mainly focused around 2020's Surly Darkness variants. In classic Nate and Mitch fashion, throughout the episode there are some connectivity issue. After a long discussion of brews, Nate and Mitch discuss some awkward scenarios when they were in High School. Portable John mishaps are afoot as the boys discuss some unavoidable, or maybe easily avoidable, incidents. Our home town favorite past time only known in our isolated neck of the woods called "The Street Dance" gets discussed in all of it's odd glory. Politics get brought up and the episode finishes up with a musical discussion of lost heroes and good tunes. Thank you all for listening. We hope you enjoy it!**New episodes every Friday at 10am CST**Follow us on social mediaTwitter - @Nate_And_Mitch https://twitter.com/Nate_And_MitchInstagram - @nateandmitcharefriends https://www.instagram.com/nateandmitcharefriends/Facebook - @nateandmitcharefriends https://www.facebook.com/nateandmitcharefriends
On the second day of Fishmas, my true love gave to me, a gratuitously violent skin flick called Piranha 3D. That's right, it's the first non-shark movie of the podcast, but there's still plenty of mayhem to be had! It's also another beer double-header as Dustin and Logan drink some Bell's Two Hearted Ale and then SAVOR a bottle of aged Surly Darkness. They also have a very hard time sticking to the movie. Tangent topics include: sushi, Wilford Brimley, how grocery stores get their stuff, Gremlins 2, and "Klavenisms". Hold on tight because this one's a wild ride.
Ralph and Dave discuss week 14 of 2020, and all of the league playoff results and predictions. Will Dave say the mystery phrase? Will the Surly Darkness flow like the salmon of Capistrano? Will the guys stay on topic?

For this episode, Colin Koop supplied a delicious bottle of Surly Darkness for us to drink. We managed to spend at least half of the episode talking about how great Darkness is. Needless to say, we probably owe him now. Show Notes 00:00 – Introduction 02:00 – Surly Darkness Day 10:30 – Darkness the beer […] The post Episode 111: Surly Darkness appeared first on Pub Chat.
