Just some thoughts I have been pondering that hopefully are relatable

In the media, many people are told to adopt the mindset of “positive affirmations” or “positive self talk” when dealing with insecurities. However, I think that this provides an unrealistic way to find fulfillment in your life and in this episode I talk about the problems I have with it and what you should focus on instead.
As a naturally competitive person, I've heard the term “healthy competition” multiple times. However I've struggled to find what this actually means. In this episode, I talk about what healthy competition means to me and how to find it in your own life as well.
When I first started out in gymnastics I had a really hard time making the close relationships I was used to. In this episode I talk about the reason I think this happens to us and why it is okay that it occurs.

In this episode I share some of my greatest tips that aren't just “don't go on your phone” or “wake up early the day before”. I'll share tips that actually work for me and many others in taking charge of your sleep schedule.
One of the most helpful practices I have used in my gymnastics was creating rituals. Rituals help calm you nerves and create a routine that can make you feel secure during times that are stressful and filled with uncertainty. In today's episode I discuss the importance of rituals, some rituals that I use, and how you can create your own rituals as well.

In gymnastics, I've certainly been through my fair share of jealousy as an athlete. However, after some reflection, I am not as opposed to the concept of being jealous and I don't think that it is necessarily a bad thing. In this episode, I am going to explain what jealousy is, the pros and cons, and how to use it effectively so that hopefully you can apply it to your own life and see it as a tool, rather than a burden.
