We continue to examine Paul's labors among the Thessalonians and Bereans, but also consider 1 Thessalonians 2 as an example of the spirit with which Paul preached the gospel among them. Gentle as a mother and loving as a father. Paul is a wonderful pattern for gospel laborers in every generation.

Paul moves on from Philippi to Thessalonica. Going into the Synagogue he preached that the Christ must suffer, and that Jesus is the Christ. He is driven out of the city by the Jewish leaders and moves onto Berea to preach the gospel there.

The robe filled the temple, and the Seraphim covered their feet and flew so as not to step on the Lord's robe- We cannot preach Christ until we have been awed by His holiness and touched by His grace and forgiveness-
