It's about elevating all of us, one soul at a time. Lifting the consciousness through intentional participation. Finding space that allows safe interaction. The radiation of energy draws in the wandering. Allow community and relationships to grow. Call it fate, God, or a third force not aforementioned, but certain people come into our life at the right time. These creators are trying to not have the odds so stacked against you. Have a listen to those living it. Back Bay learns a lot, gets turnt, and gets interrupted by a lot of life flights.

Back Bay takes its first foray into history. Using the book, A Terrible Revenge, by Alfred-Maurice de Zayas, we examine the ethnic cleansing of the European Germans at the close of World War 2. It's not an easy story to tell, but it is worth telling. I admit I struggled making it through some of the testimonies and first hand accounts during this episode. This is the darkest part of the human psyche. The sheer horror of the Eastern Front has been covered before, but this topic seems to always hide. The victims deserve to have their story told, it's the only way we can all move forward.

Portland to Portland. A piece of poetry for the goddess written in two acts. I'm learning to let things go. I'm learning that April is my pathway through this world. Find something good in myself. Embrace the people around you. I spent 6 years figuring out how to express this.

Yes, the talent is all around us. At the local venue, across the street, down the stairs, through the hall, this city is brimming with the creative hearts of Maine. How much art is in a given apartment complex? Let's start with my own. Producer Bryan and I were able to sit down with my roommates Elias (Darwin and the Finches), Elias, and Nate to talk about art, memory, and the insatiable need to express ourselves. Jack plays some classic Christmas songs, we take a deep dive on the origins of Yule, and the various myths pertaining to our most treasured traditions are shared. I keep seeing the purple centaur of Spring and know it is her. Our vision is so blocked we miss out on the spectral world. Everything has changed. The ocean always changes. Are these reliable markers of our existence? There is love like a lighthouse keeping us off the rocks. Our hands slip off the oars. We grow up on an island and wonder why soil smells different after everyone left. Lost is just a way to get through water. There are truths we must remember.

The Fourth Year and the poems are transformed. April comes back and greets me at the dirty window and I still recognize her. I pick up trash for the city and hear her whisper. As we stay inside old spirits and spooks come out to converse with the dark side of the mind. Of course the flowers grow, April told me they would, and shes the last one I believe. Enjoy.

Geoffrey is a musician who starts singing by the fire at a party and everybody starts listening. His songs are sincere reflections of modern life, with all it's messy emotions and isolation. Artists are all around us. Live music is always taking place. Notes are resonating out to the street while we walk to work. I heard Caleb playing guitar before I met him. I was sitting at the table when classical guitar descended from the floor above me. I thought it was a recording but soon realized it was an unknown force. One day returning with groceries I got lucky. I saw him locking up his bike with a guitar on his back and I just hoped it was him. Within a week we were recording. He brings along a flutist named Bret, and yes, they play a saw during one of the songs. This one is special. Poetry exists. Welcome back. We’ve been gone for awhile. Sometimes old lines take months to realize themselves, and even then, some rhymes come off opaque. I got together some amazing people and forced poems out of them. I also read a lot of my own creations. I hope this encourages others to write more and share with their peers. Writing is a necessary emotional action. We need to approach it earnestly.
