This powerful message invites us into a transformative kind of prayer that moves beyond asking God to change our circumstances and instead invites Him to change us from the inside out. Drawing from Psalm 139:23-24, we're challenged to pray David's courageous prayer: 'Search me, God, and know my heart. Test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me and lead me in the way everlasting.' This isn't about becoming more impressive in our spiritual performance—it's about becoming more honest with God about the unexamined parts of our lives. We're reminded that we're incredibly skilled at managing the version of ourselves that others see, but there's a version of us that nobody else sees—not our coworkers, friends, or even closest loved ones. The deepest work God wants to do isn't around us; it's in us. This prayer multiplies our spiritual growth not when we sound more spiritual, but when we become more surrendered. God doesn't search us for His information—He already knows everything. He searches us for our transformation, revealing what is broken while offering direction and healing. The beautiful truth is that God is gentle with what He reveals, exposing only what He intends to heal, because He looks at our hearts when everyone else looks at outward appearances.Subscribe https://www.youtube.com/@CelebrateChurchCelebrate Church is led by Pastor Noah Rollins. The AgNet News Hour brings listeners inside the 2026 American Farm Bureau Federation Convention in Anaheim, California, highlighting the latest in farm policy, California agriculture, and industry trends. Hosts Nick Papagni, “the Ag Meter”, and Sir Josh McGill provide firsthand coverage from the convention floor, where farmers, ranchers, policymakers, and industry leaders come together to share insights and discuss solutions to the biggest challenges facing agriculture today. A key highlight of the episode is Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins' speech, detailing significant initiatives for U.S. farmers. From H-2A labor reforms projected to save farmers over $2 billion annually, to expanded Agricultural Risk Coverage (ARC) and Price Loss Coverage (PLC) programs, enhanced dairy support, and efforts to rebuild the cattle herd, Rollins emphasizes both immediate and long-term support for producers. The hosts note the importance of federal engagement in California agriculture, especially amid water challenges, regulatory pressures, and emerging predation concerns. The podcast also features an in-depth interview with Bailey Corwine, Communications Manager for the American Farm Bureau Federation. She explains how the convention functions as a “family reunion” for farmers nationwide, showcasing award-winning county and state programs, fostering young farmer and rancher initiatives, and promoting national advocacy. Listeners also get up-to-date California agriculture insights, including almond market news. December shipments exceeded expectations, with strong export demand from India, the Middle East, and Europe pushing total 2025 crop receipts over 2.5 billion pounds. High-quality almonds continue to strengthen California's position in global markets. From exclusive interviews with Farm Bureau leaders to updates on water, predator control, and crop policy, this episode offers a complete look at California agriculture today. Tune in to hear expert insights, convention highlights, and on-the-ground reporting that every farmer, rancher, and agriculture enthusiast will value.

The January 14 edition of the AgNet News Hour brought a packed lineup for California farmers—covering everything from federal attention on state ag issues to real-world energy solutions growers can actually use. Hosts Nick Papagni and Josh McGill broadcast with a strong message: 2026 is shaping up to be a major turning point for California agriculture. One of the biggest highlights came from Anaheim, where Papagni attended the American Farm Bureau Federation gathering and spoke with U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins. Rollins made it clear she's paying close attention to California—especially when it comes to regulations, water, labor, and the future of farming in the state. Her visit alone sent a signal that Washington sees California ag as too important to ignore, even with ongoing political tension between state and federal leadership. A major topic Rollins addressed was Potter Valley, where local stakeholders are fighting to preserve the Scott and Cape Horn dams—dams that have supported water needs in the region for over a century. Rollins called the push to remove them “reckless,” arguing that tearing them out in the name of environmental extremism puts “fish over people” and threatens food security. She said she formally stepped into the issue on December 19 by intervening in proceedings before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and promised updates soon. Rollins also highlighted a long list of federal actions aimed at easing the pressure on farmers nationwide, including changes to labor rules, trade deals, and support programs. Most importantly, she emphasized that her goal isn't for growers to “farm for a government check,” but to be profitable enough to support their families and pass farms down to the next generation. Later in the program, the spotlight shifted to farm energy and input costs as the show featured an interview with Mike Newland of the Propane Education & Research Council. Newland explained how propane is becoming a stronger option for agriculture—especially as power grid strain increases nationwide. He discussed propane applications ranging from backup generators and irrigation engines to innovative tools like steam-based soil treatments that can reduce reliance on fumigants, plus flame weeding systems that may help organic growers control weeds efficiently. Papagni and McGill agreed the message was clear: whether it's water fights, regulatory battles, or on-farm energy decisions, California growers need more tools in the toolbox. And with input costs still high and uncertainty ahead, planning for alternatives—and staying plugged into what's happening at both the state and federal level—has never been more important.
Head Coach John Galloway talk upcoming scrimmage against Rollins and give a quick preview of what's ahead for 2026.
What if the reason we've stopped praying isn't because we've lost our faith, but because we've misunderstood how prayer actually works? This powerful exploration of John 15:1-8 challenges our performance-driven approach to spiritual growth and invites us into something far more transformative: abiding. Jesus describes Himself as the vine and us as the branches, revealing that fruitfulness doesn't come from striving harder but from staying connected longer. We live in a culture that has trained us for immediacy—instant results, quick answers, and fast outcomes. But when we bring this consumeristic mindset into our relationship with God, we set ourselves up for disappointment. Prayer becomes transactional rather than relational. The Greek word 'mino' that Jesus uses for 'abide' means to stay, to remain, to make your home somewhere. It's about conscious engagement with the presence of an omnipresent God. We're not climbing a ladder to reach God or strengthening a muscle to impress Him. We're simply staying close, even when things feel quiet, even when we doubt, even when we don't get the answers we want. This message liberates us from the exhausting cycle of spiritual self-sufficiency and invites us into the rest of depending on Jesus for everything. Apart from Him, we can do nothing—and that's not meant to shame us, but to free us.Subscribe https://www.youtube.com/@CelebrateChurchCelebrate Church is led by Pastor Noah Rollins. As we stand at the threshold of a new year, we're invited into a transformative spiritual practice that could change everything: making prayer our first response rather than our last resort. This message draws us into Mark 1:35, where we witness Jesus—in the midst of overwhelming ministry demands and crowds pressing in from every direction—choosing to rise early, withdraw to a solitary place, and pray before the day begins. The profound truth here challenges our modern assumptions: if Jesus Christ, the Son of God, needed to pray first, how much more do we? We're confronted with an uncomfortable reality that most of our struggles aren't really addiction problems, relationship problems, or discipline issues at their core—they're prayer problems. We try to fight spiritual battles with natural strength, showing up to life's challenges like a hockey player armed with a pencil instead of a stick. The invitation before us is clear: what if we stopped treating prayer as something to squeeze into our busy schedules and instead built our entire day around it? What if we prayed before scrolling social media, before that difficult conversation, before reacting in anger, before making that decision? This isn't about perfection or praying for hours—it's about intentionality, about acknowledging God's presence beside us in every moment. When we pray first, we're not declaring that life is out of control; we're declaring that God is in control. And here's the beautiful promise: while prayer doesn't guarantee an easy life, it removes unnecessary pain and anchors us in the midst of pressure, allowing us to look back and see God's faithful hand every step of the way.

This Christmas Eve message invites us into a profound truth that transcends tradition: Christmas isn't primarily about what we give, but about what God gave. Drawing from Luke 2 and John's declaration that 'the Word became flesh,' we're reminded that Jesus represents heaven's collision with earth—God stepping into our fractured, hurting world not because we deserved it, but because we desperately needed it. The sermon explores the three gifts of the Magi—frankincense pointing to Jesus as our high priest, myrrh revealing him as our suffering servant, and gold declaring him as king—yet redirects our focus to the ultimate gift: Jesus himself. What makes this gift extraordinary is its permanence in a world where everything else fades. While other presents create moments, Jesus creates life. The challenge presented is both simple and profound: a gift can be given yet never received. We can admire Jesus from a distance, appreciate the Christmas story culturally, without ever truly opening our lives to him. The invitation echoes Jesus' own words in Matthew 11:28—'Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.' Christmas isn't God adding weight to our already heavy lives; it's Jesus offering to carry that weight with us. We don't need to clean ourselves up first or fix our brokenness before approaching him. Like the shepherds who came as they were, we're invited to receive this gift in our current state—with our fears, wounds, regrets, and uncertainties fully exposed.Subscribe https://www.youtube.com/@CelebrateChurchCelebrateChurch is led by Pastor Noah Rollins. Our vision is for people to MEET JESUS so they can go out and BE JESUS.Stay Connected! At the heart of Christmas lies a profound question that extends far beyond seasonal celebration: Is Jesus our king? This exploration of the Magi's gift of gold to the infant Jesus reveals that gold was never a casual present in the ancient world—it was reserved exclusively for royalty. When these wise travelers placed gold at Jesus' feet, they made a radical declaration of surrender and allegiance. The distinction between acknowledging Jesus as king in general versus making him king of our personal lives becomes the central tension we must navigate. We can know all the right theology, attend church regularly, and sing the songs, yet still miss the king entirely if we refuse to surrender control. The sermon draws from Matthew 2, where the Magi's question about the newborn King of the Jews threatened King Herod's authority, exposing a deeply human tendency: when our control is challenged, fear and resistance surface. The message challenges us to examine the areas of our lives we've withheld from Jesus' kingship—our finances, time, relationships, future plans, and pain management. Jesus doesn't seek partial authority or sectioned-off devotion; he calls for complete surrender. Yet this isn't the demand of a tyrant but the invitation of a humble, righteous, and eternal king who emptied himself to serve us. The freedom we desperately seek comes not from doing whatever we want, but from becoming who God created us to be through surrender to his perfect leadership.Subscribe https://www.youtube.com/@CelebrateChurchCelebrateChurch is led by Pastor Noah Rollins. Our vision is for people to MEET JESUS so they can go out and BE JESUS.Stay Connected! 2025 Maya Angelou Book Award winner Alison C. Rollins joins co-hosts Whitney Terrell and V. V. Ganeshananthan to discuss her 2024 poetry collection Black Bell. She explores the history and symbolism of a bell-laden iron device used to control and torture enslaved people and describes the replica she created after studying metalworking. She also recounts the story of Harriet Jacobs, who spent seven years hidden in her grandmother's attic before escaping slavery. Rollins talks about how her poems engage in call and response with other texts, including the music of Sun Ra and Stevie Wonder and images connected to ornithology, anatomy, Afrofuturism, and the history of slavery. She reflects on who has historically been granted the title of “poet” in America and discusses the archival research behind her writing. Rollins rings a glass bell and reads several poems from Black Bell.To hear the full episode, subscribe through iTunes, Google Play, Stitcher, Spotify, or your favorite podcast app (include the forward slashes when searching). Kevin chats with Jay Rollins about his 40-year journey building and selling four companies, from RTC-era distressed acquisitions to growing JCR Capital to $1.6 billion in AUM before selling to Walker Dunlop in 2018. Now Jay's doing something different with Canopy Real Estate Partners—scouting real estate operators between 35 and 45 who've proven they can do deals but have never recruited institutional capital. His pitch: let Canopy put discretionary capital in your hands, teach you fund management, and help you build a platform, taking no equity in your company beyond what's earned at the project level. Jay discusses how he's matched his fund product to investor appetite with a structure that behaves like a real estate bond—6% current return, four-year duration, 18% at exit, with only 50-55% leverage—designed for LPs tired of "trust me, I'll call you in five years." The conversation covers why having discretionary capital in the middle market is a massive competitive advantage, how proper promote structures and vesting drive team alignment, and why basic interpersonal skills like looking someone in the eye and remembering their name will put you ahead of 95% of the younger generation.
Anna Rollins, author of "Famished," joins us for an honest conversation about the intersection of purity culture, eating, body image, and sexual intimacy in marriage in general and especially Christian marriage. We explore what happened in the Christian movement around weight and body image that went beyond general cultural dysfunction and became particularly harmful in church spaces, such as Anna's church creating an eating based programs as she talks about here in and in her book. Drawing on research from Sheila Wray Gregoire's survey of 20,000 women (one of our favorite past guests), Anna unpacks the connection between body shame and sexual intimacy, including the often-hidden correlation between body shame and painful sex that many women don't realize exists. She shares her personal journey of moving from controlling her body through over-exercising to actually caring for and stewarding it well, how she's parenting with intention, and how her relationship with her body has drawn her at first farther but ultimately closer, ultimately, back to God. This conversation is essential for anyone navigating body image in marriage or raising children in the intersection of faith and culture.
