In this week's episode of Awake & Winning, Kaylor sits down with Josh Seiter—the man who faked his own death… twice. After exposing uncomfortable truths about self-ID laws and gender ideology, Josh became the target of relentless death threats, forcing him to take extreme measures just to survive. Josh and Kaylor break down the media firestorm, the erasure of women's rights, and how mainstream narratives are aggressively protected at all costs. They expose how dissenting voices are silenced, why the mob is more powerful than ever, and what happens when ideology replaces reality. This is the type of episode that gets people canceled—but Josh refuses to stay silent. Listen now before they try to erase this conversation. _____________________________ Episode Highlights: freedom, gender identity, cancel culture, woke ideology, media manipulation, personal responsibility, self-ID laws, women's rights, parenting, political correctness, feminism, public education Takeaways: Women's rights are being erased under the guise of inclusivity Self-ID laws open the door for predators and manipulation Political correctness is being weaponized against free speech Most trans-identifying men have not had surgery, making policies even riskier The movement relies on emotional blackmail to enforce compliance Virtue signaling does more harm than good The backlash against woke ideology is gaining momentum If you enjoyed the episode, please be sure to take a screenshot and share it out on Instagram and tag @thekaylorbetts.
Mille mercis !

We're back babyyyyyyyy! Did you see that coming? Absolutely no you did not. Because we didn't tell anyone. We're kicking off Season 2 by returning to our our childhood book shelves and pulling out the first three books by Lucy Maud Montgomery. This week we're going to (trigger warning) Canada and more specifically to Prince Edward Island. Anne has been one of the most suggested topics and we refused to do it until we wanted to. Which is now. We discuss our connection to the books, the life of the author, and (famously) the loneliest characters in the lonely girl cannon. I think we are caught in the chaos of societal sin; the pressure of guilt, resentment, shame and the overall need of feeling wanted has caused us to put way too much pressure on people. We are defining the word, relationship. Visiting what societal sin is; and how it can affect how we relate I will share a short audio excerpt from my Mini-Doc for my book As Thyself by Nia.

Hola! Here's something a little bit different. The flowering of youth at Chelsea reminded us of our Big Interview with Jody Morris back in 2016. Jody was a youth coach at the club then and is now Frank Lampard's assistant at Stamford Bridge. So we went back and dug out a clip where Jody talks about the brilliant youth recruits coming through at the club, and reflects on their UEFA Youth League victory over Ajax. Fast forward three years and a cluster of those kids are now spearheading Chelsea's domestic and European drive this season... including a 1-0 win on Wednesday night over... yes, you guessed it, Ajax. We've built an episode around Jody's comments. We loved recording it and we hope you enjoy listening. Graham See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

This is the first of 2 nights of our collaborative team investigation. This video is primarily an EVP session. The investigation gets tense - The investigator that was "attacked" in this segment of the investigation had asked to be allowed to leave the the investigation just moments before. She made it clear she felt like she needed to exit this environment, and felt very uncomfortable. The team leads were somewhat insistent that everybody remain together, so she stayed with the group. Video A-3 is roughly 8 minutes of a typical investigation. There is extremely little of this 8 minute clip that has been cut out, so you're seeing a very life-like version of what it's like to be involved, first-hand, in a paranormal investigation. Portions of video that may have been cut out are: when the camera was focused on the floor, or was bobbling around, or when someone swore or said something personally identifying that we do not want available to the public at large. Otherwise, this is all unedited footage.
Maine Ghost Hunters - Video Podcasts - Henryton Sanitarium Mini-Documentary
Video A-1 shows everyone what the very start of our investigation time looked like. This first building we were in was what the investigation leads decided to call our "home base". We had to walk through the whole building to get to the back porch, where someone was standing guard over any equipment left there during investigation times. On the way out of the building one of the group psychics mentions "slimy ice" and tells us that the spirits are present in our "home base" building.
Maine Ghost Hunters - Video Podcasts - Henryton Sanitarium Mini-Documentary
In video A-2 our group arrives in the basement level of one of the buildings we investigate. Our group psychic experiences paranormal activity almost immediately. Take note - at 3:04 Kat and Jaime both acknowledge they heard something, and within a few seconds the other team radios over to us with an observation.
Maine Ghost Hunters - Video Podcasts - Henryton Sanitarium Mini-Documentary
Video A-4 is a great exhibition of how different people can have completely different experiences while investigating the paranormal. There are a couple of investigators who are sure they are experiencing the presence of unseen beings, while others make no claim at all, or claim to be having no experiences whatsoever.
Maine Ghost Hunters - Video Podcasts - Henryton Sanitarium Mini-Documentary
Video A-12 is where we start asking for a "sign". is the communication real? Or coincidence? Are these signs the real deal? Or something less...?
Maine Ghost Hunters - Video Podcasts - Henryton Sanitarium Mini-Documentary
Video A-5 starts with the group leaving the basement level of the building and heading upstairs. As in all of the videos presented here, there may be EVP's present. Some EVP's may be more easily heard than others.

A lot of Video A-6 illustrates the slower, less involved, moments of a true paranormal investigation. When you're getting to know an area, especially one that's the size of this particular location, you tend to have larger segments of uneventful chunks of time. The larger the location, the more time is likely spent getting to know the environment.

Video A-10 is another good few minutes of watching and listening to the various experiences of different people who are all in the same room. The Ovilus plays a role in this video segment, as does the psyche of the investigators in this darkened basement room.

Video A-8 Slow moving, seemingly uneventful, but there are brief moments where it really feels/sounds as if we're making contact with an intelligent being. Very interesting at times.
