The quote “ We do not rise to the level of our expectation but fall to the level of our training” is credited the Greek lyrical poet, Archilochus who many think served as a soldier himself. It is an adopted saying of the SEAL’s.

Do you know the difference between washed and unwashed beans? Did you even know that was a ’Thing’?! Whether you’re a high brow coffee snob, or a casual caffeine consumer there’s something for everyone. Ed gives us a ‘Crop to Cup’ summary of all things coffee. We’ll hear his insights on growing regions, flavor profiles, roasting and a bunch of tricks on home brewing techniques. Sit back, grab a cup and enjoy!

On Episode 4 Bobby Nichols, Founder of The Sports Syndicate joins me as we peel back the curtain on the realities of what it means to be a professional sports agent. We’ll learn how he built a successful company around niche sports and “Fringe" athletes. He shoots it straight about his early career set backs and failures, to how he turned the tide into eventually selling his business to the Wasserman Media Group.
We trace Christian's roots from his early dorm room success launching and selling a magazine business, to his media publishing career and how he parlayed that same counter cultural, independent thinking into one of the most important art movements of a generation, "Beautiful Losers". We discuss the vision it takes to curate a traveling, global art exhibition… We also discuss the second internet revolution as Christian defines as the 'Mobile’ revolution and how his new venture DISTLL, a mobile commerce platform, figures to play a key role. We touch on Wu Tang Clan skate decks, the photography of Craig Stecyk and why Vice media is no accidental sensation and much more…
