When we actually stay on topic, we talk about and critique Drake's past, present and future. It's like we think our opinion actually means something...
After 20 episodes of rambling, laughing, and general fanboy-ing about Drake, we’re calling it a day. And what better way to sign off the podcast than going to a Drake concert? We talk about that, our favourite songs and feature, and the hilarious song of the week Childs Play on our final episode of For Your Headtop. We'll upload a teaser for whatever we do next on this feed, so keep an eye out for that if you're interested. Show notes Meek Mill - Going Bad (Feat. Drake) The Game - 100 (Feat. With a re-release on streaming to celebrate the anniversary, we discuss why this is such an important release in Drake's catalogue. With 2018 over, we take a look back on all that Drake offered in the year. And though sequels often disappoint, the follow-up to our 2017 award show is bigger and better. We hope. We probably made some questionable calls. We also give our thoughts our revised thoughts on Scorpion and, in what is becoming a recurring theme, there's also talk about Drake's Kanye beef. And yeah, we know it's February... we can be a bit slow sometimes. People are saying that Drake is a nonce and we don’t like it one bit. We break down exactly why these rumours are nonsense, go into the latest updates in the seemingly never-ending Drake and Kanye saga, and the infiltration of r/Kanye users in the Drake subreddit. We also discuss the Degrassi kids putting on a cabaret, and talk about our love for the 2014 loosie and our song of the week, Draft Day. Four years later, he’s the man still. The days of threatening rappers with drive-bys are over. Now if you want to send a message, you send purple demon emojis. We look at some Drake lyrics that suggest that Kanye might need to watch his back. A double album means a two-part discussion, and we thought that we'd bring a friend along to break down Side B with us, as well as the freestyle tings. And if that wasn't enough, we're finally back to watching everyone's favourite teen drama, Degrassi, and we talk about PartyNextDoor having a case of the midweek blues in the song of the week, Wednesday Night Interlude. After an extended break that wasn't actually that much longer than our normal episode output, we are back for Season 2. And there is a lot to talk about - diss tracks, broken homes, number one songs, secret children, music videos, and multiple sclerosis. It's a fun one alright. We finally have our very speical episode. We decided to end Season 1 with a bang, so we filled out a Drake March Madness bracket (yes, we know it's not March anymore) and discuss whether we think Drake can stake a claim to being the GOAT. On top of the that, we talk about Drake's incredible dancing, the Degrassi kids learning the dangers of spreading rumours and the song of the week, Digital Dash. Here's the bracket we used Credit to MicCheque for the design.
It may snow a lot in the 6 but that doesn't mean we're prepared for it here in the UK. While the weather may have got in the way of some of our plans, we still manage to talk about the God's Plan video, Drake's best hook, a suprisingly well-written episode of Degrassi and the song of the week, Club Paradise.
There were some technical issues, so all we've got is a news episode. But no matter, Drake's back to releasing music and he's giving away money for the fun of it, so there's still plenty to talk about. Try and enjoy!
It's award season, so what better way to celebrate that fact that host our own "highly-professional", Drake-based award show. While we've been gone there's been new Drake music, an intersting conversation between 40 and DJ Akademics and more, so we talk about a lot. And to top it all off, we have Drake on Adderall in the latest Degrassi episode and the song of the week, Take Care.
To apologise for a lack of uploads and to kick off the New Year, here is the first episode of our Kanye miniseries. With Jack being a new Kanye fan, his knowledge is fairly limited. So we're going back through the history of Kanye to catch him up. And where else is there to start but where it all began: The College Dropout. For Your Headtop will be back very soon.
Clearly all we had to do was moan about Drake's inactivity to kick him into gear. We talk about Drizzy making moves in Hollywood, the Degrassi cast going through Sex Ed, and Drake and Future ballin' out of control on the song Scholarships. Make sure to check out the Drake subreddit You can watch Degrassi along with us on Youtube
With Drake continuing to shun his reponsibility to give us news to talk about, we decide to shun him as much as possible. So instead, we discuss our rival podcast, our much-anticipated watching of Drake & Josh and Wu-Tang Forever (but the remix with A$AP Rocky).
It's been a pretty slow news "week", so we spend a lot of time quoting any film that pops into our heads. Other than that, we talk about a Degrassi episode that Jack can actually tolerate, and a Drake song that holds a special place in our hearts: the Travis Scott-collab Company. You can watch the most recently discussed episode of Degrassi here Jack's new creps Come and chat with us on Reddit
We decide to apologise for some unfair judgements we've made about Drake, talk about how love is in the air in the latest episode of Degrassi, before the incredibly-average Blem has us back to criticising Drizzy again.
The honeymoon period is over and we're only two episodes in. We discuss whether we can trust what Drake says, his first appearance in Degrassi and his most recent album opener Free Smoke, all while trying to pretend that we're still friends.
In the inaugural episode of our Drake podcast, we talk about what Drake's been up to recently, the first episodes of Degrassi, the modern-day classic All Me, as well as going on a lot of tangents...
