Listen as Spike Lou and Animal Brown react to The Game's new Gangsta Grillz mixtape, Ja Rule criticizing 50 Cent for his Puff documentary ad Method Man's reasoning for not getting on Drake's remix. Pusha T also said he's done with diss records....
On this episode of the MalloryBros. Podcast, the bros kick things off with the usual Weekend Recap, talking family time, potty training, and birthdays. They first get into Roddy Ricch and his album being pushed back once again, and what they think his next move should be. This sparks a bigger conversation about when artists started taking long gaps between albums and how superstars move differently in today's music climate. Next, they react to Pusha T's take that diss tracks are dead. Terrance understands where Pusha is coming from, while Terrell breaks down what he believes is Pusha's real intention behind the statement. After discussing the Netflix bid last week, the bros are back with updates on the successful acquisition, Paramount's counter offer, and what all of this could mean for movie theaters. Terrell asks Terrance about Quentin Tarantino's recent comments about Actors, and the guys talk Shedeur, the NFL, and JD5. The finish with thoughts on The Streamer Awards and Kai Cenat's acceptance speech. Follow Us on Twitter @MalloryBros9 for all updates! JOIN THE REALEST 9 on Patreon for More MalloryBros. Rory and Mal debate who would win a Verzuz between Tony Yayo and Memphis Bleek. Mal doesn’t understand the backlash Pusha T is receiving for his IG caption announcing his 2nd child. The post attempted to flip Pusha's past criticism of Drake's age-gap preferences, reigniting the never-ending Drake vs Pusha T stan war.Analytic Dreamz examines the verified timeline: Pusha T (born May 1977) and Virginia Williams (born April 1989) went public in 2010 when he was 33 and she was approximately 21—not 18. They got engaged in 2013, married in 2018, welcomed their first child in 2020, and announced baby number two in November 2025. The 29/18 math is impossible.Dreamz analyzes the alleged Drake like: no verified screenshot from @champagnepapi exists, Drake's likes remain hidden to the public, and major outlets (HipHopDX, Complex, XXL) never confirmed the story. Community Notes and fact-check accounts swiftly corrected the misinformation. In this segment, Analytic Dreamz exposes how recycled beef, bad math, and unverified screenshots fueled another manufactured Drake-Pusha T controversy in 2025. Lyall kicks things off fighting seasonal depression, getting into rainy-day comfort movies, and what it's like doing stand-up alongside the same comics he watched on TV as a teenager. He breaks down the passing of Coach John Beam, the wild rumor about Donald Trump allegedly giving Bill Clinton a blowjob (complete with impressions of how it might have gone down), and why Oakland's gun violence feels so normalized to people from the Town. From there, Lyall dives into Rory's resurfaced racist tweet, Klay vs. Pat Bev, actual thunder cracking in the middle of the episode, Pusha T refusing to change diapers, and—because priorities matter—Lyall's full Thanksgiving menu.Another chaotic, honest, and unfiltered week of Let's Unpack That.
Clipse was formed in 1994 by two brothers: Gene Thornton Jr, aka Malice, and his younger brother Terrence Thornton, aka Pusha T. From the beginning, they've worked with producer Pharrell Williams, originally as part of the acclaimed production duo, The Neptunes. But then, there was a 16 year gap between the third Clipse album, which came out in 2009, and their most recent album, Let God Sort Em Out, which came out in July 2025. This November, they were nominated for 5 Grammys, including Album of the Year. They were also nominated for Best Rap Song, for “The Birds Don't Sing.” It's a song that they made after the death of both of their parents in the span of just a few months. For this episode, I asked Pusha T, Malice, and Pharrell about the making of that song, which also features contributions from John Legend and Stevie Wonder. This week we're tying up some loose ends by discussing Let God Sort Em Out, the newest album by hip-hop duo Clipse. This is not a reunion we saw coming and to be completely honest, half of the reason we're even covering it is because of how much Mike hates Clipse. (We covered all of their albums on episode 56). Will an era of rap that's finally making room for its male elders make equitable space for women and MaGes too? For this conversation we use the Clipse epic rollout as grown ass rappers (Pusha T, 48 & Malice, 53) launching their highly rated album and successful tour - to explore the experiences and P.O.V of Black women in and around the industry. I promise you it's not a reach. Culture writer Starr Rocque & PR Strategist Uchechi Chinyere join me to discuss all things Clipse, hip-hop, Black women & femmes. You don't have to know shxt about the Clipse or their latest album Let God Sort Em' Out to enjoy this conversation, but also please email and let me know how you managed to avoid knowing shxt about the Clipse during this very Clipse 2025. I think it's important to note that Tyler the Creator who shows up in one of the best features of the album is queer. We mention his feature, but not his queerness, which IS relevant in THIS conversation. In this powerful message, Pastor David Osborne unpacks The Rhythm of Grace through Lamentations 3:22–23 and Romans 7:4, reminding us that revival begins when we align our lives with God's unmerited favor. Just as music is shaped by rhythm, our spiritual lives find meaning and freedom when ordered by grace—not the exhausting demands of the law or self-striving. Drawing on Scripture, every day life experiences, and even powerful hip-hop testimonies from Virginia's own legendary rap duo Malice and Pusha T, Pastor David shows how God's grace empowers us to belong to Christ, live in freedom, and bear fruit through the Spirit.Revival isn't about performance—it's about living, moving, and having our being in the rhythm of God's grace.
