Hello everyone! Today's episode was very short but I wanted to just address current situations going on with my life and offer you all the opportunity to showcase your talents! I would have loved to add music to my episode, however. Copyright issues win over me posting it so I can't do it unless you all want me to advertise your music for you. Any talent can be advertised on my show. Just let me know! Thank you all for listening :) --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/free-reverie/support
Welcome to another episode of Free Reverie. Today, I will be discussing a sensitive topic. This topic is going to be hard to digest but it needs to be discussed to improve upon what the future can be rather than assuming everyone knows exactly what to do. We need to better educate and communicate when we are with others. As always, hope you enjoy this episode. I am here if you ever need support, just know this. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/free-reverie/support

Have you ever dreamed of becoming an artist? Have you ever dreamed of becoming a writer? Have you ever dreamed of having your own podcast?! It is good to dream but it is better to make those goals come true and be happy. Do what Linda does!! She is an amazing woman with many talents. Most would dream of just one thing but she has many dreams and have made them her reality. Linda is an inspiration to us all! We could all learn a lot from her. In this episode, we discuss a lot so make sure to tune in and as always, enjoy! Biography Linda Fisler is an award-winning contemporary master artist preferring to paint in a impressionist style. She has studied with Master Artists Kevin Macpherson, George Gallo, Carolyn Anderson, and through her interviews developed relationships with many master artists of today. Linda and Kevin launched Artist Mentors Online (AMO), where they provided lessons via the internet. Linda is also an award-winning author. She has written fiction and non-fiction books. Her “How to Paint From Brush to Palette Knives“ provides a step-by-step instruction for painting with brushes and palette knives. However, Linda’s first love is writing fiction novels. Her Blind Series focuses on three characters, a female lawyer, an MI-6 agent, and a senator, who team up to become the change they want to see. The series asks the question: What if something drastic happen in the 1980’s that caused a different course in history? Would the event, depending on who leads and the choices they make, change the divisiveness we see today in the world? Linda has published four books (available in ebook and paperbacks) in this series; Blind Influence, Blind Persuasion, Blind Alliance, and Cloaked. Linda is also an instructor and mentor. She teaches classes at the Middletown Arts Center, hosts workshops of other master artists, and provides online courses and mentoring via her Patreon site. She also provides insight to others’ journeys and creative processes with her podcast show, All Things Creative. (information taken from https://lindafisler.com/) See? She does so much! What an amazing woman
Welcome to Season 3 of Free Reverie!! We will start off the season by speaking with Lisa Brozek. One day, she had this idea of writing a song in the perspective of her autistic son. To her surprise, this song became a hit.
"How do you define 'taking care of yourself'? Create a new self-care practice today. Observe your comfort level when it comes to being good to yourself. Discomfort is a wise teacher." - Caroline Myss and Peter Occhiogrosso This episode is really just to catch up on what I have been up to alongside some stories that I have come across during my break from podcasting. These stories caught my eye because they were interesting, funny, sad and had a point for all to learn from. I kept this particular episode short, so enjoy. I do plan on doing more videos for my channel. If you have any suggestions as to what you want me to say or see me do, please get in touch with me. As always, I do appreciate MBS for my amazing intro music. If you would like a song done, message MBS on Instagram @muzikbysymphony --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/free-reverie/support

Episode 69 is another musical episode, however. The music that we will learn about is written and played by Brady Novotny. His unique sound creates emotions that you would only expect from those that sing a song. A lot of his music is straight instrumental. His music is completely hypnotic. It is almost like you are being transported into another world...okay, that might be too much. You are just brought to another level with hearing music played without voices being heard. What is amazing to also know is that his wife supports his music career as well as participates in singing. Her angelic voice gives emphasis as to what message he is telling his listeners. His music tells all about who he is and where he comes from, just like any other artist out there. It is just how he goes about it is what I am intrigued by. Want to know more? Take a listen and enjoy! Background: Brady Novotny started playing the guitar at the age of 10. Determined to be a world class guitarist, he left his first guitar lesson with his instructor telling him basically to give it up now. Thus he was introduced to criticism and disappointment early in his endeavor. Nevertheless, Brady heard a guitar player that would motivate him to push all that aside and re-energize his passion to continue; that guitar player was Randy Rhoads. Brady soon fell in love with classical and melodic guitar playing. Brady practiced restlessly learning everything from classical pieces, melodic and virtuosic solos from 80's guitar heroes, to jazz fusion. Brady loved the guitar, and truly, that has been his passion. He attended Berklee College of Music for a little time. At the age of 19, he was asked to teach summer guitar workshop at Duquesne University. As life often happens, however, Brady got burned out and went back to school and received his masters in Psychology. Yep, that's right -- Psychology. But the passion is back and stronger than ever, plus it never hurts to have some money! Brady set out to do an instrumental project that would have his listeners singing the haunting melodies while holding their attention by uniquely placed guitar virtuosity and dynamic rhythms creating a fusion of rock, flamenco, and jazz. His love for a variety of musical styles led him to study under many teachers in his life. Brady started out playing Classical guitar at the age of 10. Ever since then, Brady has had a strong affection for nylon string guitar sound. Ultimately, this led him to study Flamenco guitar. He immediately fell in love with the passion, virtuosity and rhythm of this style. The shred of the 80’s was one of his main influences and guilty pleasures, while Jazz was a big influence on Brady’s chordal choices and song color. Brady has a wide range of experience in the music business. His experience ranges from the Pittsburgh rock scene to national tours. He has worked as a Pittsburgh session guitarist, Worship leader, and guitarist at several mega churches. He has also taught guitar at clinics and universities. His 2019 release with MTS Management Group/MTS Records is “Passions Collide” featuring the lead single, “Redemption’s Cry.” The song, featuring a hauntingly beautiful vocal from Brady’s wife, Jennifer, is currently charting on the Airplay Today national radio charts. Questions you need to ask yourself will also be told in this episode. Although it is tough to analyze yourself, it is possible to find who you are just by asking questions. If anyone disagrees with what I talk about, message me. In fact, let's create a podcast where we discuss it! Let me know your thoughts. They are always appreciated.
