Kendrick Lamar dropped his first new solo single in nearly four years on Sunday night, called “The Heart Part 5.” The song arrives just days before the long-awaited release of his fifth solo album, “Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers” on May 13. The song's video begins with Lamar rapping by himself in front of a red screen, but occasionally has the faces of other rappers and controversial public figures photoshopped over his: Kanye West, Nipsey Hussle, Will Smith, Kobe Bryant, OJ Simpson and Jussie Smollett are six that we noticed after a couple of viewings. The song's lyrics blaze by quickly — check Genius.com for in-depth analysis — but the faces seem to have connections to the lyrics: West's appears during a reference to a “friend's bipolar,” Simpson's references a “bulletproof rover,” and Hussle's takes the form of a long soliloquy that closes out the song, apparently from his perspective: “To my brother, to my kids I'm in heaven … To the killer that sped up my demise: I forgive you, just know your soul's in question/ I seen the pain in your pupil when that trigger had squeezed/ And though you did me gruesome, I was surely relieved/ I completed my mission, wasn't ready to leave/ But fulfilled my days, my Creator was pleased … To my neighborhood, let the good prevail … I can't blame the hood the day that I was killed.” source: Kendrick Lamar Drops New Song, 'The Heart Part 5' - Variety --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/masseffect/support

Live events are coming back and this week, Kan tells us all about going back to Keller auditorium and seeing HAMILTON! We go over the trial of local romance novelist, Nancy Crampton Brophy who is accused of killing her husband Dan in 2018, and the essay she wrote titled, “How To Murder Your Husband” in 2011. And the on going saga that is the murder of #ChristianTobyObumseli by his girlfriend, OnlyFans model #CourtneyCleeney- details are still coming but she's claiming self defense and his family and some of her friends are saying, no way. As usual, it's a lot, so grab your red cup and listen up! #UnrefinedSophisticates #Podcast #RedCupSiblings #TrappinByYappin

As America celebrates the first black “woman” to be confirmed to the U.S. Supreme Court — even if Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson can't define what makes a “woman” — President Biden once again snags the spotlight with a gaffe. In an epic 78-minute unscripted monologue, Whitlock ties together all the plotlines of Will Smith's slap debacle. Does he agree with Jim Carrey's and Bill Maher's comments on Chris Rock and the new Oscar winner? Why were “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air” and “The Cosby Show” so integral to Jason's life? How would civil rights legends like Martin Luther King Jr., Robert F. Kennedy, Rosa Parks, and Jackie Robinson have viewed Sunday's events? In what way are the dark shadows of Ta-Nehisi Coates, Jussie Smollett, George Floyd, Jada Pinkett Smith, Russell Westbrook, LeBron James, and Colin Kaepernick hovering over this story? How is Dave Chappelle pulling away from the grasp of liberal Hollywood? Plus, on "Tennessee Harmony," the pastors view Will Smith's issues through a scriptural lens. Charlie weighs into the biggest news story of the weekend. No, not Joe Biden nearly getting us into WW3 by threatening to remove Vladimir Putin from power; but the slap heard round the world! Charlie breaks down the Will Smith, Chris Rock slap frame by frame. Does the entire interaction make sense with how human beings behave in real fight? Or does this look like two actors putting on an Oscar worthy performance? Charlie breaks it all down including Will Smith's acceptance speech and Chris Rock's decision to not file a criminal complaint. Does it add up? Charlie explains his conclusion. Next up, Charlie reviews the disastrous polling from NBC—a notoriously Democrat friendly polling group—that has Biden at a record low approval rating. What are the main drivers for this most recent polling collapse. Charlie also gives an update on redistricting across the country and handicaps the GOP's prospect of regaining control of the Senate. Charlie then moves to a little covered, but BLOCKBUSTER story out of the UK of a former news executive, Mark Sharman, who has blown the whistle on a government warning policy in that country demanding the UK media cover government COVID propaganda and ignore competing narratives. How much did this same tactic impact American media? Support the show: http://www.charliekirk.com/support See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

First, Judge Napolitano gives his take on the Jussie Smollett verdict, why he was released from prison and why he may end up back in jail. Next, Judge Napolitano discusses what to expect from the upcoming Ketanji Brown Jackson supreme court confirmation hearings and why it may be very different from Brett Kavanaugh's experience. Finally, Judge Napolitano talks about the possible illegality of sanctions on Russia and its oligarchs. He also discusses how distressing it was to see Americans willingly give up their civil liberties for false promises of safety during COVID. Learn more about your ad choices. Today on the show for Freaky Friday! We had friend to the room Flame Monroe, another comedian who we are not responsible for what comes out of her mouth. Moreover, she gave her opinions on Kim Kardashian, Jussie Smollett, SXSW, Hosting Award Shows and much more. Later on, in the show Charlamagne gave "Donkey of the Day" to a mother who got drunk and spent almost 6k on an Uber to Ukraine to “go help”. Also, for our Freak Friday topic, we opened the phone lines to ask a simple question, how do you like your pickles? which came from Nick Cannon exploring his options on how to eat a pickle on his show. Maybe you like your pickles big and juicy with some ranch dressing or even peanut butter if you're feeling wild, lets discuss. Learn more about your ad-choices at https://www.iheartpodcastnetwork.com
After 18 months, the New York Times finally concedes: Hunter Biden's laptop, Burisma/Ukraine connection is real. Clay and Buck had this analyzed correctly long ago, brought on guests about it, were, as usual, way ahead. Big Tech and Big Media colluded to bury the Hunter Biden laptop story and change the 2020 election. Zelensky says World War III "may have already started" and "we have the whole civilization at stake." Buck explains why we're not there yet. Poll declares that third of Americans would risk nuclear war with Russia over Ukraine. C&B say they think this means that possibly most of respondents don't understand the issues and ramifications. Jussie Smollett spent less than a week in jail. Clay says, "A lot of white privilege for Jussie, it appears." Learn more about your ad-choices at https://www.iheartpodcastnetwork.com
Today on the Matt Walsh Show, the organizers of a sex camp for children are now allegedly in hiding because of “right wing harassment” from the likes of Ben Shapiro and yours truly. According to the media, just because you hold masturbation workshops for kids doesn't mean you can't be a victim. Also, Jussie Smollett is released from jail, proving that few people are more privileged in this culture than someone who is gay, black, rich, and famous. Also, a children's hospital gives advice on “tucking.” If you don't know what that is, you'll find out today. And probably hate me for telling you. And a popular new song worships Ukrainian president Zelensky as a Christ figure who has come to save the world. What's the problem with this kind of over the top adulation of a political figure during war time (or any time)? We'll talk about all of that and more today on the Matt Walsh Show. Charlie takes a break from Ukraine coverage to focus his attention on the culture wars back at home. First up, Charlie tackles the AP's riveting exposé on the tragic plight of black millionaires who, according to the AP, often experience extreme racism when they attempt to donate their millions. Pray for them, especially the vast majority of whom are American self-made millionaires. Next up, Charlie covers Jussie Smollett's sentencing, including his melodramatic exit from court and his continued defiance of logic and truth. Charlie explains how Smollett's terrible examplehas spread to many other young "activists" who are faking their own hate crimes. Charlie then weighs in on Florida's anti-grooming bill, or as Democrats call it, the "Don't Say Gay" bill, but DeSantis has some allies in unexpected places. Charlie plays the tape that you have to hear. Finally, Charlie details a story out of Kansas, where a teacher has been suspended for not using a student's preferred pronouns...in Kansas! As Democrat delusion creeps deeper into red states, Charlie issues a dire warning to conservatives to start fighting back even in GOP strongholds.
