Greggs and Spaceman go at this episode solo, recalling the recent NASA announcement on the discovery of habitable planets. The station reaches the edge of the universe and wonders what it means for us regular creatures on earth. How do we process technological advances and still care about the here and now?

Spaceman brings a friend from his past life, Randall Turner, on the podcast to share with us the world of sound design from SCAD to the dance floor. Ableton Live dukes it out with Pro Tools as we discuss how access has affected the sonic universe.

WHAT?! We're back! We are surviving in 2017. Greggs talks about meatloaf. Spaceman introduces some of our new projects. And we get schooled by our guest, Charlotte, on the ins-and-outs of immigration and the life of an expat. Basically, why america?

It's the HPMS season finale. The station is a little thrown off course by the recent election. Christopher and Davis struggle to articulate and unpack the shocking election results and provide a vision for the next steps of the podcast. A big announcement about Mick. Christopher delivers the most touching send-off imaginable.

We welcome our first guest on the podcast! Nneoma guides the station toward the land of childhood fears to wonder how and why we learn about fear so early. Mick shares his favorite holiday, Davis turns out to be the quote *weird-ass* friend, and Christopher and Nneoma share scary sleep stories.

In the wake of the final presidential debate, Christopher's rockets the station over to algorithm land to question how we experience new ideas or opposing viewpoints via social media. Mick apologizes to his Mom, and Davis wonders if it's even possible to escape one's curated self.

Davis docks the station docks at the most difficult location of all: Privilege Bay. The guys talk about what privilege is and they try to figure out exactly how to deal with it. Tough stuff. Also, Christopher and Mick briefly talk about their earliest rap records, and Davis wants something called a cold, open hand. Your guess is as good as ours.

In the seventh excursion, Mickey vents about how much he hates birthdays. The boys also give their takes on the first presidential debate...we getting political.

In the sixth journey of the HPMS, Christopher lets his Fashion Killa out to talk about why high fashion can't be affordable. Mick struggles to grasp fashion in general (sad), and Davis does his damn thing!

In episode 5, Davis takes the gang down Guilt Trip Lane to talk about the moral consequences to liking an artist who does awful things in real life (we're looking at you, Breezy). Also, ruminations on the iPhone 7!

The answer may surprise you, after a word from our sponsors. Christopher was pretty let down by Suicide Squad, so he wonders if that experience is indicative of major studios' expectations of the mass audience. Mick tries and fails not to be too much of a film snob. Davis plays the tempered part! Well done Davis.

In the second voyage, Davis steers the Heroes towards the cultural phenomenon that is (was?) Pokemon Go, where they talk about which Pokemon is the most likely to get high and how the game might change the way we use the internet. There's also some time travel! Yeah! Time travel! Crazy stuff. Good ep.

With the prologue(s) written, the guys pen the first official chapter of the Hero Philosophers' Motherland Station. Mickey wants to talk about the line between diversity and tokenism, Davey struggles with Pokemon GO servers, and Christopher keeps it cool.
