On Tuesday's Mark Levin Show, rouge federal district judges are issuing nationwide injunctions against President Trump's voter-supported policies. These judges overstep their constitutional authority, seizing power from elected branches by imposing policy preferences disguised as legal rulings, particularly on immigration and executive actions.  The one big beautiful bill passed by the House would limit judges' ability to enforce contempt citations and would require plaintiffs to post financial bonds for injunctions. Afterward, the Trump administration's Middle East trip was a globalist foreign policy, which involved active engagement with other nations. Interventionism is different from globalism; they do overlap but aren't identical. Interventionism is negotiating peace between Ukraine and Russia or engaging with Iran.  Also, who is the senior Trump administration official who keeps leaking to Axios and driving an intentional wedge between America and Israel? They're undermining Trump and the purported purpose of the negotiations with Iran.  NSC, DOJ, and the FBI need to open up a leak investigation. Later, Trump's actions against Harvard are patriotic and long overdue. Harvard and similar institutions promote Marxism and Islamism, discriminating against Asian students (as ruled by the Supreme Court), and historically providing cover for Nazis in the 1930s. Cutting federal and state subsidies and urging major donors to reconsider support is the way to address these issues. In addition, Gov Ron DeSantis calls in to discuss Convention of States movement. He explained that Congress's failures, driven by politicians' reelection incentives, require structural changes like term limits and a balanced budget requirement. DeSantis dismissed fears of a runaway convention, noting that amendments need three-fourths of states to ratify, ensuring only popular reforms pass. If there's one key piece of advice I'd give to anyone in business or entrepreneurship, it's to beware of the tyranny of the now—the intense pressure of immediate problems like a lost contract, a team member leaving, or an unexpected crisis. These challenges feel overwhelming in the moment, but they are temporary. Don't let short-term pain lead to emotional decisions that could harm your long-term vision. Instead, stay focused on why you started—your original dream, belief, and purpose. The present will pass, but your future is still in your hands. Handle the moment, but don't let it define you.

Steven Levitsky is David Rockefeller Professor of Latin American Studies and Professor of Government and Director of the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies at Harvard. His research focuses on democratization and authoritarianism, political parties, and weak and informal institutions, with a focus on Latin America. Western reluctance to confront this ideology head-on, due to fears of appearing Islamophobic, enables its spread and threatens global stability. The only decisive action against such extremism, rather than appeasement or half-measures, can secure a peaceful future. Finally, Sen Bernie Sanders advocates for a communist style national health care system, drawing from the 1936 Stalin Constitution. This raises questions about whether healthcare as a human right means unlimited access to any treatment, who controls doctors' and nurses' work hours, and if such a system could force doctors to provide care against their will. The entire congressional agenda is about sophistry and small-ball items with no narrative or vision to take to the voters. Yet when it comes to Real ID, something all voters, including liberals, hate, suddenly there is a rush to implement it after 20 years of delays. We're joined today by Rep. Eric Burlison (R-Mo.), who is one of the few members raising concerns about the Trump administration's implementation of Real ID. As someone who follows the issue of gun registries, Burlison is concerned that a Democrat president will turn Real ID into a mass surveillance state and eventually use it as a global ID that could lead to policies like vaccine passports. This is part of a broader anarcho-tyranny whereby our government casts a wide net around civil liberties under the guise of security but then fails to actually deliver when it comes to security issues. Burlison also warns that leadership is telling the RINOs the spending cuts are not real or will be gutted by the Senate.
