HOPE; THE ANCHOR FOR OUR SOULMany believers are trying to live by faith without realizing that there are two other ingredients that arevital to our life of faith and our ability to receive from God. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 13:13 thatthere are three things that will last forever; Faith, Hope, and Love.Faith will not work without love, nor can it produce any results without hope. Many people mistake thisword hope for wishful thinking. Bible hope is very powerful. It is the blueprint for our lives & is builtupon the sure foundation of the promises of God. It is the anchor for our emotions to keep us from beingtossed about in life's storms.

ONWARD & UPWARDGod wants us continually look and move forward in our lives. In able for that to happen we must cultivate great hope for our future and let go of the past. The Bible says in Isaiah 43:18-19 "Do no remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing..."God has a way of moving us beyond the many different challenges we face in life. In this message we look at a few important Bible truths we need to focus our attention on, in order to pursue the plan & purpose of God for our lives.
CHRISTMAS REMINDERSWhen we read the Christmas story and the events surrounding the birth of Jesus Christ, there are certain elements that stand out in our memories. We are reminded of:- that special Star the wise men followed- a Heavenly host of angels appearing to the Shepherds- a virgin bearing a child. All of these events actually, historically happened. This message summarizes these elements to reveal the real purpose Jesus came to this earth as a baby.
For thousands of years, the prophets spoke of the coming of the Messiah.Isaiah 7:14 “Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceiveand bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.”‘Emmanuel' means God with us. God would come and become a man. Jesus Christ was born inhumble circumstances and grow up to shake the world in a 3 ½ year ministry. When He went tothe cross He open the way for every human being to come back into relationship with God.Many missed His first coming. He said He was coming again. Don't miss His second coming!Merry Christmas!
TAKING YOUR PLACE IN CHRISTFrom 2 Corinthians 5:16-17 we learn to no longer view ourselves from a natural standpoint. Asborn-again believers we are to view ourselves as new creations created in Christ Jesus. In the series, we are looking at the Apostle Paul's revelation of who we are in Christ and learningto live in light of this new identity. Until we see ourselves the way God sees us we will struggleat walking in the destiny and purpose that he has for our lives.

THINKING GENERATIONALLYWe want to encourage believers to think beyond just living for the blessings in our lifetime. God islooking for those who will live to lay a strong foundation for their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.Joshua in the Old Testament made a powerful statement to an entire generation… “as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15It is important for all believers to realize that our priorities and the choices we make in our lives today are affecting future generations. Let us have vision to impact the future.
RAISING YOUR EXPECTATIONS Based on Hebrews 11:1 we see that for Faith to produce results we must have hope. Hope in this context is a blueprint; a goal or expectation. God through His word paints a picture in our heart of what He wants to do in our lives. Our faith opens the way for God to bring His promises into realty in our lives.
DEVELOPING A THANKFUL HEARTThere is a story in the Gospel of Luke of when Jesus healed 10 lepers yet only one of them returned to give thanks. Jesus asked a question that if there were 10 that were healed why did only one has return to give thanks? This question reveals & describes the heart attitude of many people today. This teaching looks at the value of developing a thankful heart. A grateful heart for what God has already done for us, is the foundation for complete wholeness in every area of our lives.

Psalms 37:23 says that the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord.To fulfill God's good plans for us we must realize that God doesn't make the plans for us. • You make the plan; based on His word • You take initiative; use your mind • Plan to accomplish something When you start moving towards that plan, then God begins to direct your way.
