How should Bible-believing Christians deal with the Chris Rock controversy? Here are my thoughts.

One of the hardest things to do as a Christian is to feel comfortable asking questions in front of other Christians. We're scared to death other believers might think less of us for asking a really stupid question no one else struggles with. So, we keep our Qs to ourselves. My hope is to stir up our minds to ask questions by creating an environment in small groups where questions are not only encouraged but the answers are pursued. So many Christians have questions concerning the Bible, God, the world, and even their own salvation. Christian fellowship ought to be the place where these issues are worked out rather than rehashing the old phrase "just have more faith". There are times when ministry programs are extremely fruitful for the church. There are other times when their usefulness is well past expired. Your spiritual well-being as an individual believer on the other hand is always worth time, energy, and resources. Let's not substitute the latter for the former. It may be time to reanalyze what the focus of your relationship with Christ is all about. It also may be time to reconsider what your church's vision is; even if there is one. People are #deconstruct -ing all over the place from #christianity. Can deconstructing be a positive journey? Barna Group research suggests the main reason why the masses aren't coming to church stems from the lack of vocation-based preaching and programs available. The people seek life skills, job fairs, and work-focused seminars. Should the church lead the way with programs to deliver the goods? Or is there a better way to be the church that will bring back the fold? #christianity #church #jesus #discipleship Sources: ➡️When the Pews Are Empty, Data Can Help https://www.christianitytoday.com/partners/gloo/when-pews-are-empty-data-can-help.html
Your conscience is made right with Christ through obedience to His specific call on your life. Therefore, not every Christian's response to the Lord will manifest the same way. God may call one person or family to stay amidst war while another to flee and serve elsewhere. Let's not bind every believer's conscience to the same deed but rather let us call each other to obedience to our one Lord. I follow the story of a Ukrainian pastor who has decided to keep his family in Ukraine to help his neighbor through wartime. He is obeying Christ's call to stay and help his community in light of the potential risk to his and his family's life for the sake of the Gospel. However, we must remember not every Ukrainian Christian's response to Christ will look the same. God can use one family to stay for the Gospel while another flees for the advancement of the Gospel elsewhere. For us in America...what does obedience look like for us? Biden administration is very nice, kind, and unifying. But abortions are getting federal funds. What do we do?
Having you been hashtagging "notmypresident"? Well stop it! Especially you believers out there. Find your Bibles and brush up on Romans 13 and 1 Peter 2.
Christians are in fact in a holy war but maybe not how we think. Let's look at Ephesians 6:12, and some youtube videos, on what this spiritual war actually looks like and what it doesn't.
The capital riots were confusing not only to the world but to Christians as well. Flags of "Jesus Saves", "Jesus 2020", and protesters carrying crosses were very bizarre to me as an American, and especially as a Christian. I didn't understand the entirety of their message at a rally claiming, led by the President, that "the election was stolen". Where do Christians go from here?
