This episode is important because its a fast-paced world. Receiving gift you should be grateful. as in a self-made world its not impossible to work for and item that already exists. A gift gives a idea of the future. but yourself would not know the value of the gift until you have to work to get it. but at the same time each gift you receive you experienced it you are grateful for the gift. but if you could get the ideal thing you would change somethings. So each gift more than likely you may not think or maybe can't afford it(or is not a priority purchase). so when you have you have to work for it, when you receive it. you know the cost of it but then after you know the cost you can make tweaks to it.

In order to truly participate in the Nature of God and become merciful and our Father is merciful, we must live from our life in Christ in two ways. We must truly be receivers of God's mercy, allowing our Lord to cover us again and again with the mercy He longs to give to us. Secondly, we must be the very mercy we have received from God to those who have offended or wronged us. As we both receive mercy and give mercy, we experience in a wondrous way the mercy of God towards us always. And it is only the experience of the Divine mercy of God that can transform us to become that mercy to others.
The Holidays are supposed to be a time of joy, parties, and seeing loved ones, but for some of us, this time of year feels heavy with heartache over our loved ones who are no longer with us during this season. This week, I'm sharing an older episode touching on my personal journey through loss, and grieving through the holiday season. I share with you how we can still feel sad and honor our loved ones while still allowing ourselves to laugh, love, and live in the present moment. Our loved ones in spirit are never too far away from us, and will often send us signs. I share how my dad sends me signs from the other side all the time. Such a powerful reminder that love never leaves us.

What if the version of you running your life is three identities out of date? In this raw round-two conversation, High Vibe Chicks founder Steph Stanton sits down with Mark Crandall Branding Expert, Coach & the host of the Purpose Chasers Podcast to talk about shedding past versions of ourselves, clearing the “Vaseline on the mirror,” and stepping into the bigness we were actually born for. They dive into why so many light workers, creators, and leaders are exhausted, over-giving, and under-receiving—and what it really means to become a clear channel instead of a cloudy one. You'll hear Mark open up about his dark season after walking away from a $5.1M construction sale, the isolation that followed, and the brutal inner dialogue that told him he'd failed. Steph shares how our obsession with doing, fixing, and proving keeps us small, why receiving is a deeply uncomfortable (but essential) practice—especially for men—and how to start building real community instead of grinding yourself into the ground alone. In this episode, we explore:Why so many people are still operating from outdated versions of themselvesThe “Vaseline on the mirror” metaphor and how to finally see yourself clearlyThe difference between external success and energetic expansionWhy receiving is feminine energy—and why that makes it so uncomfortable for most menHow isolation, burnout, and over-responsibility are quietly crushing leadersWhy your website, brand, and business often mirror your internal confusionPractical ways to protect your energy and create safe, honest communityIf you've been feeling overextended, underseen, or quietly asking yourself, “Who am I now?”—this conversation will feel like someone finally turning on the light.Follow The Purpose Chasers Podcast, leave a rating, drop a comment with your biggest takeaway, and follow Mark on Instagram at @organicwordnerd.
Texas, long at the forefront of restrictive abortion policy in the U.S., has passed a new law (which goes into effect in early December) which would take state law and the already in-place abortion ban (SB 8) and apply it beyond its borders. Jessica Waters, Senior Scholar in Residence at the School of Public Affairs at American University, sits down with us to talk about Texas' new law restricting telehealth medication abortion, an incredibly common and safe method of care. Specifically, the law prohibits the manufacturing and distribution of mifepristone in the state, and outlines the inability to mail, transport, deliver, prescribe, or provide abortion-inducing drugs to anyone in the state. Currently, pregnant people in Texas cannot receive legal abortion care, so they have relied upon out-of-state abortion care. This new law, though, allows for anyone to sue an out-of-state company or medical professional which provides a person in Texas with mifepristone, even if that doctor or company is in a state where abortion is legal. This law is in direct tension with the shield laws that protect against this very scenario. This will likely create a chilling effect on doctors and abortion funds out-of-state. Think identity thieves only target high income individuals, a bigger prize if you will? False. Identity thieves target anybody they think might fall for their scams. They'll keep coming up with new ways for unsuspecting victims to hand over personal and financial information. Keep listening to learn a little more about how thieves work to steal your identity, and a few things you can do to stop them in their tracks. Follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter! Learn more about Triangle Credit Union Transcript: Welcome to Money Tip Tuesday from the Making Money Personal podcast. Have you heard any of these following stories recently? An elderly woman was scammed for tens of thousands of dollars, including the purchase of a vehicle and applications for multiple loans. (KSAT) A young professional's stolen wallet resulted in reports of bad checks, dozens of new credit cards, false criminal charges, and more. (LA Times) The NFL's number one draft pick Cam Ward was targeted by identity thieves, resulting in high interest loans, liens on his home, and more, resulting in $250,000 in fraudulent debt. (The Guardian) These true stories are just a few examples of identity theft that could happen to anyone, regardless of your age, occupation, financial status, or where you live. In each case, the victims learned about the crime after their information was stolen and had already been used multiple times. Identity theft occurs when someone steals another person's sensitive personal information and either uses it as their own or sells it on the black market for other perpetrators to use for financial gain or fraud. Identity theft has been making headlines for years; however, each and every year, thieves become more sophisticated. Staying in step with these criminal advances is a constant struggle for small business owners, corporations, and individual consumers alike. In spite of the work that is being done to keep our information safe, cases of identity theft continue to be reported at an alarming rate. According to the Federal Trade Commission's Consumer Sentinel Report covering the full year of 2024, reported cases of identity theft have increased by over 584% in the last 20 years. Here are some other highlights from this report: Last year, more than 2.6 million cases of identity theft were reported, and more than 1 in 3 people who reported a scam also reported losing money. The median loss to fraud victims is almost $500, with total reported losses of more than $12 billion, an increase of more than 25% compared to 2023. The most common type of identity theft is credit card fraud, which includes using stolen information to open a line of credit as well as using a legitimate card fraudulently. Experts estimate that there is a case of identity theft every 22 seconds and that 33% of Americans will face this issue in their lifetime. While safeguarding your personal information is key, so is knowing what to do if you find out that you have already become a victim of identity theft. First, you should know what red flags to watch out for, as time is of the essence when dealing with identity theft. The longer you wait to begin the recovery process, the more losses you risk facing. Early warning signs of identity theft can include: Finding unknown charges on your credit card or bank statement. Receiving calls from collection agencies about debts you aren't aware of. Seeing unfamiliar withdrawals from your financial accounts. Receiving bills for items you didn't purchase or services you didn't request. Finding out that a tax return has already been filed in your name, prior to filing your own. Being unexpectedly denied on a loan application. Receiving notification of a line of credit that you did not open. Getting notifications or other information about government benefits or loans that you did not apply for. If any of the above signs apply to you, they should be addressed immediately. For those of you who have a Triangle Better Checking account, you have access to dedicated Identity Theft Recovery Advocates who can help you assess what information has been compromised and assist in quickly taking steps to stop the damage and recover your identity, regardless of the type of identity theft or how it happened. Once you have addressed the immediate issues surrounding the theft of your personal information, there are a few things you can do to help protect your identity in the future. Regularly check your bills and financial statements. It's common practice for scammers to make small purchases or withdrawals first to see if they can get away with it before attempting larger purchases or loans. Notify your financial institution immediately if you see a charge that you don't recognize. Use unique passwords for each of your online accounts. If a hacker obtains your password for one account, they will likely pair it with your name or email address on other sites to see what else they can gain access to. Consider using a trusted password service to help manage unique passwords for you. Changing your passwords regularly is another effective deterrent against scammers. Collect your mail daily and pay attention to any recurring items, like bank and credit card statements, to make sure you don't miss any. Some thieves take envelopes containing s;pppp00oensitive information out of mailboxes. If you are away from your home for an extended period of time, notify the postal service to hold your mail while you are gone. It is also a good idea to enroll in USPS Informed Delivery, a free service from the postal service that shows you preview images of incoming mail, plus status updates about your incoming and outbound packages. Monitor your Social Security account. Set up a free account with the Social Security Administration to help ensure your Social Security number isn't fraudulently claimed by someone else. Identity theft can happen to anyone, and its effects can range from a small annoyance to financial devastation. The best protection is prevention, but if your information is used without your knowledge, we are standing by to help. If you are a Better Checking account holder and you think that you might be a victim of identity theft, contact the friendly staff at Triangle and we will put you in touch with a professional Identity Theft Recovery Advocate. This is a free preview of a paid episode. To hear more, visit stayorgo.substack.comThis week's episode feels like opening a sealed box from a past lifetime and discovering not only who I was, but the quiet, determined woman I was becoming long before I could see her clearly. These final journal entries are some of the rawest I have ever shared. They move through the full terrain of my inner world during the months surrounding my separation and divorce, including the parts I still feel in my body when I read them. Before we dive into those pages, I share a personal update that has been nothing short of life altering. Receiving an ADHD diagnosis as an adult, and recognizing its generational threads, has reorganized so much of my story. It has rewritten the way I see my mother, my own emotional landscape, and the compassion I now hold for the woman I was for so many years without a framework to understand herself. I speak about the transformative impact of discovering medication that finally supports my brain and the grief that comes with wondering what might have been possible for the women who came before me if they had been given the same tools. From there, we return to the journals. These entries illuminate the beautiful, brutal truth that becoming the woman capable of changing her life is not a single choice but a thousand small ones. In one moment, I am standing in my closet realizing there is no one coming to save me and feeling the terror and power of that truth. In the next moment, I am coaching myself toward a different reality with nothing more than self compassion, deliberate awareness, and the willingness to choose again. You will hear me navigate the shock of betrayal during my separation, the frightening escalation that often accompanies disentangling from a narcissistic dynamic, and the experience of sitting at a kitchen table telling my children our family was changing. These pages were written by a woman who was terrified, grieving, hopeful, and determined all at once. A woman who had no evidence that her future would turn out the way she dreamed, yet continued to write her way forward anyway. And then, in the final entry, you will hear a voice that stunned even me when I found it again. A voice that knew without hesitation the life she was creating. A voice that listed out the future I am now living, long before I had the courage, stability, or clarity to imagine any of it realistically. Reading that list feels like witnessing my past self bless my present self, reminding me that soul calls never arrive empty. They carry the architecture of what is possible. This episode is an invitation to honor your own unfolding in the same way. To see the patterns you are outgrowing, the chapters you are grieving, and the expansions you are already stepping into. To remember that every becoming is patterned with both collapse and creation. And that the you who is writing today's entry may be the woman your future self thanks for changing everything. If you are in the thick of it, please know you are not behind and you are not failing. You are mid‑chapter. You are in the woods. You are becoming. And you are not alone.

Ever been approached by a police officer before? When our mess-ups and mistakes catch up with us, we plead for mercy, right? "Please let me go with a warning and I will never do this again!" Yet how often do we do that thing again. True repentance is being sorry enough to stop, and this is the kind of repentance following God requires. Join us Jayden unpacks how oddly enough, the Ninevites can teach us a thing or two about repentance. Hearing God's invitation to act is one thing. Receiving it and obeying is a whole 'nother kettle of fish. Jonah heard the voice of God, but it wasn't something he wanted to hear, so he tried to run away from it. Have you ever done that? When we say yes to Jesus, we receive the gift of forgiveness that God offers us. And as we find ourselves in the story of God as those who are forgiven, we're invited to join God's Kingdom work by forgiving those who have sinned against us. Join us this Sunday as we continue our teaching series, "So You Want to be a Christian?" by considering how following Jesus involves receiving and extending forgiveness.- Series Description - In our new series, So, You Want to Be A Christian?, we'll cover the beginning steps of following Jesus. At times, these are the steps we're begging self-proclaimed Christians in the public arena to follow. Other times, these are our steps as we grow in discipleship for the first time or as we're humbled by God to focus on the basics once again. Either way, we need to know how to grow in faith and how to respond to Jesus' words, “Follow me.” Whether this journey of following Jesus is brand new for us or whether we've been following Jesus for decades, each day is another chance to respond to his call for an upside-down kind of life reflective of His otherworldly Kingdom.

This Sunday, we studied Acts 17:1-15. In this section, Luke makes a clear distinction between the Jews in Thessalonica who heard Paul reasoning from the Scriptures and the Jews from Berea. He writes, “Now these Jews (the Bereans) were more noble than those in Thessalonica; they received the word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were true.” Our message this week is called “Receiving the Word with Eagerness.” Do you receive God's Word with eagerness? There is probably no greater indication of a person's deep love for Christ than their delight in the Word of God. People who fall in love with Jesus recognize that the subject of all Scripture is the Lord Jesus Christ. To know Christ and to grow in Christ requires continually feeding on the riches of God's Word. Like a lover who pours over every word that their loved one writes to them in a note or a letter, the true believer pours over the Word of God to learn more of the beauty, the wisdom, and the splendor of Jesus Christ. The late Dr. John MacArthur once wrote, “Genuine spirituality, genuine godliness, is always marked by a love for and a delight in God's truth.” The longest chapter in the Bible is Psalm 119 which is completely about the psalmist delight in God's Word. Come each Sunday as we look at how to fuel our love for Christ through a zeal for His Word. If you are struggling to be in the Word of God consistently or if you haven't understood your need for a deepening passion for a knowledge of the Bible, pray for God to open up your heart and put a fire in you to know God better! Let's pray that for all of us. Pray for one another. Join us each Sunday at 9 & 11am - Next steps or plan your visit at www.waterbrooke.church.

The Deepest healing of the Mother Line I've ever experienced. I reconnected with my mother, who passed away when I was 17 yrs old. Connecting to my ancestral line and all of the women who felt disrespected, under supported, and under-resourced as mothers and women. Feeling in my body the great disrespect to the Earth. We are not separate from the earth. We deeply need to come back to our hearts and souls. What one does to another is not separate, we ALL feel it, and she feels it (The Great Mother). The Climate crisis is also collective trauma, violence, and divisiveness. Looking at thought patterns and the relationship with my mind. The Divine Timing of Things. The ineffable experience of working with this medicine. Bliss and loving dance with the divine. All of the information that came through – this life, past lives, and future. I felt home – it was a deep REMEMBRANCE OF COMING HOME. All of the love I felt and received. Receiving and experiencing love at such a depth and allowing it in. Feeling deeply into self-love. We are all so loved by the divine and we are all inherently worthy beings. Breathing, Trusting, and Surrendering to life and the overwhelming moments in ceremony. Merging with the matrix of the universe, no time and no space, I died, the Eternal Space Between (no birth and no death). The terror and beauty in that. Wild to experience while being alive in a body. Grandmother Ayahuasca spoke to me in moments of overwhelm. "Come back to your breath. Come back to your heart." The power of remembering who you REALLY ARE. It is a miracle to be alive. To be human is to learn and relearn the lesson of letting go, forgiveness, and love. We co-create with the universe. Don't forget the power of your breath.

On a recent episode of Darren Hupke's podcast Pixels and Polygons (linked here), friend of the show Nic McConnell shared a "hot take" about video game patches. We'll let Nic share the nuances of his take in the show itself, but he was essentially expressing that he thought video games should not be patched as often as they are. We thought this was an intriguing idea worth unpacking even further—and one that was perhaps not quite as controversial as it was initially presented. What is gained and lost when players can no longer access the original version of a game? Do we miss the jank found in many retro games, that today can get ironed out as soon as its discovered? And what does this all mean for Kirby? Join us for a patch-perfect episode of Kirby Conversations all about patches, updates, and version histories.Questions or comments about the show? It is one of the most common mindsets among humankind. We want things. We pray for things. We set goals and make to-do lists. We exercise our divine gifts of vision and intuition to picture ideals in the future that we think will make us happy. Seems like a blessing, right? How could this be something we should be more mindful about? What is wrong with desire? Isn’t this what we need for positive manifestations? In this episode, John provides insights into the hidden traps of desire, and he reveals latent barriers to wishful manifestations. In other words, why is it that so many people wish for positive outcomes but fail to get them? What is getting in the way? And what can we do about it? If this has been your experience, you need to hear and share this episode of The Change Mastery Show. When we uncover the reasons why we are struggling and we shift our mindset to a different vibrational frequency, everything in life changes. We begin to reap harvests beyond belief.

PREVIEW. The Risks of AI Feedback Loops: Why Feeding Grok Its Own Output Causes Insanity. Spencer Klavan details interactions with the Grok chatbot, explaining that it learns and improves by receiving human input. Chatbots often end answers with questions to encourage user responses, which serve as training data. Critically, Klavan notes that if Grok's own output is fed back into the system instead of new human output, the machine actually "goes insane." 11963
