Find out how to apply for a GMC registration with an alternate document which is a document other than your diploma and this document can be in English. Steps to apply for GMC registration with an alternate document. 1. Plan your IELTS way prior. So if you don't pass you will still have to time to give it another go. 2. Make a GMC account so you get a GMC reference number (no cost) (you can do this step at any point in your medical school) 3. Set up EPIC account. ($130). After which make an account with Notary Cam and attend the scheduled video call meeting (takes a minimum of 2 weeks) 4. Get your alternate document right after you pass your final exam. An english document. You can have them make a Bulgarian version of the same for you just in case. Make sure the document has: *your basic info (faculty number, passport number, date of birth, place of birth) *that you completed your studies and you're just waiting to graduate *the title of the degree you'll obtain *a line saying "this document is for the officials of Great Britain" 5. Upload document for $100 6. Once verification is done, fill out a hardcopy application form (not on GMC online because it will be rejected) for which you can email img@gmc-uk.org and they'll send it to you. Fill it out by hand, scan and send it back through that email along with the scanned copy of your passed IELTS result sheet. GMC will keep you updated on anything they need. 7. Make payment for GMC (157 pounds) Extra notes: *You don't need Good Standing Certificate: If GMC emails you, just reply saying you are not registered to the Bulgarian Medical Association. *If you provide details about internships outside of your medical school curriculum, GMC might require the doctor who was in-charge of you to fill out a reference form. If you want templates of any document that I filled out or have any other questions, just message me on my instagram @bromleykuruvilla and I'll be happy to help you.
