Jason Longshore and Madison Crews break down the chaos of World Cup Monday, starting right here at home. Cabo Verde held Spain to a stunning 0-0 draw at Atlanta Stadium, with 40 year old goalkeeper Vozinha making save after save and becoming an overnight social media sensation. Jason and Madison dig into how Cabo Verde's defensive discipline neutralized Spain's possession, what the Spanish press is saying about the result, and why Vozinha's story, complete with a name inspired by a Brazilian World Cup legend, is one of the best of this tournament so far. Plus, Belgium needed a bizarre own goal off Romelu Lukaku's bench impact to draw Egypt, Saudi Arabia's goalkeeper stole a point off Uruguay, and Iran and New Zealand put on an instant classic. All four matches on the day ended in draws, the first time that has happened at a World Cup in 68 years. The 3-4-3 covers Christian Pulisic's calf injury, Neymar's ongoing absence from Brazil training, Tunisia's reported mid-tournament coaching change, and a preview of Argentina's title defense opener against Algeria. Atlanta Soccer Tonight airs nightly on 92-9 The Game throughout the World Cup. Subscribe to Morning Espresso at soccerdownhere.net for daily World Cup coverage.

Joe and Hollywood break down the Spurs' stunning late-game collapse, focusing on De'Aaron Fox's critical mistake where he failed to dribble out the clock and instead opened the door for the Knicks' historic comeback. The guys debate whether San Antonio should have put the final possession in Victor Wembanyama's hands, while also pointing to missed free throws from Wembanyama as another turning point in a disastrous finish. With Fox as the veteran on the roster, the discussion centers on why he didn't manage the moment better and how the Spurs appeared to panic down the stretch. The segment wraps with comparisons to infamous collapses in sports history, including the Falcons' 28-3 Super Bowl loss, as Joe questions whether this kind of defeat could leave a lasting scar on the franchise.

Hello New Paradigmers! There are two sides to every story,Just like coins and dollar bills,I will no longer be fooled, distracted or sidetracked,But remember to take the red pill.☉As may be noted in this week's Pele report there is a LOT to the sign Gemini! It's probably one of the most complex signs in the zodiac as it is not simply a lion, bull, ram, woman, scorpion or two fish, know what I mean? It's four "humans," two demi-gods and two mortals of different sexes all wrapped up in one sign. It is at the transition point from east (self) to west (other) in the natural horoscope and, with Sagittarius, constitutes the "Consciousness/Thought" axis. The new Moon this Sunday in Gemini portends a month of intense mental activity resulting in intense emotional and physical activity as each stimulates the other.Uranus squaring the Moon's Nodes practically all month multiplies this intensity to the power of 10. There's a lot going on! As I mentioned in the report, the danger here is disconnecting our head from our body and acting (body) unconsciously (distracted with noise). The danger of ignorant decisions (like war) coming from unbridled passionate emotions can have disastrous long term results. It behooves us all during this time to THINK BEFORE WE ACT. And not only think before we act but FEEL, and tune into our physical body itself and check in with our earthly self before striding off after some rainbow somewhere or avoiding uncomfortable conversations, situations, or people. Let this be a month of deep diving with others into the intricacies of our psychology and the deeper, buried motivations underlying our words and deeds. We all make up stories to justify our behavior and sometimes these stories are simply mental constructions to hide our true intentions, needs, or desires. The Gemini/Sagittarius axis seeks truth. “Let us not fool ourselves.” Probably, you'll notice the Uranian unexpected, surprise events (often called accidents) more than anything else this week (like the war continuing through a ceasefire perhaps?). In astrology we call these surprises wake up calls. They are the result of our personal unconscious shaking us up to wake us up to see what we have not yet seen and learn what we need to know in order to carry on our unique soul journey of individuation. Shocks and trauma throw us back on ourselves and help us determine our true values, beliefs, priorities, and morals that will lead us to our eventual enlightenment. So let's pay attention, learn, grow, and wake up together! This week's song is Put Your Lights On: https://youtu.be/KCBS5EtszYI?si=qUc-iWv9qpQwi6hOSo Much Love,Kaypacha

Zach Lahn, Scott Pelley, Bill Pulte, and the California jungle primary headline today's A.M. Update. In a photo finish, businessman Zach Lahn defeats Trump-endorsed congressman Randy Feenstra in Iowa's Republican gubernatorial primary by less than a percentage point, and Aaron says the MAHA coalition was the deciding factor. California's jungle primary has Steve Hilton leading the Republican pack while Tom Steyer and Xavier Becerra close strong on the Democratic side, raising the possibility that two Democrats could end up in the general. The Supreme Court clears Alabama to use its redrawn congressional districts, Mehmet Oz announces $50 Medicare GLP-1 coverage starting July 1st, and Aaron closes with Indiana Governor Mike Braun's nuclear family month proclamation and a viral video of a corporate employee who submitted a biblical take on pride to his company's own open-call campaign, after which the entire program was quietly shut down.

Most people think stress comes from big problems. Taoism suggests something different. In this free Living the Tao Short (2-23), Master Mikel Steenrod explores how sudden changes—whether they seem good or bad—place demands on the body and mind. Using weather as a starting point, he explains why rapid shifts can drain our reserves, disrupt our balance, and gradually affect both quality of life and longevity. A beautiful warm day in the middle of winter may feel wonderful, but your body still has to adapt. The same principle applies to life itself. Stressors often arrive in clusters, and while any one challenge might be manageable, repeated shocks can accumulate over time. Discover why Taoists pay attention to mismatches, adaptation, recovery, and the hidden costs of rapid change—and what you can do to restore yourself when life moves too fast. It's been a few months on the road, bouncing through San Francisco a bunch, across Asia and Europe, and a quick stop in Detroit. In this audio-only Freestyle Friday I unpack what I've been seeing out there. If I had to pick one word for the mood worldwide, it's uncertainty: energy and supply shocks rippling out of the Middle East, fuel and resource shortages, flights getting canceled with no notice, and AI scrambling the playbook for vendors, practitioners, and leaders alike.I get into why so many data tooling companies are quietly having existential conversations, how Atlan tore its product down to rebuild AI-native (a full conversation with Prukalpa is coming next week), and a fun experiment I shipped this week with DuckDB Quack.I also dig into the split I keep seeing: senior practitioners getting superpowers while juniors face a brutal job market, leaders being asked to do far more with less, and why I think the industrial-age org chart is finally on its way out.Plus some personal updates: the new book is now targeting late July and a companion course is on the way. Finally, I'm mixing audio and video formats going forward (Freestyle Friday will probably be mostly audio), the Practical Data Community newsletter is live, and there's a Salt Lake City conference brewing for late January. Trump just bypassed the United Nations entirely and nobody in mainstream media is saying it out loud. Lance Wallnau breaks down the move hiding in plain sight inside Trump's own Truth Social post. From the Strait of Hormuz to the Abraham Accords 2.0, Trump is pulling every Arab nation into a political coalition designed to isolate Iran, stabilize the Middle East, and replace the UN's function with something that actually works. Lance reads Trump's post line by line and names what nobody else will: this is Trump's own United Nations. But the broadcast doesn't stop there. Hispanic evangelical church attendance is quietly down 25 to 35% because of immigration enforcement fears, Catholic attendance is surging 38% in 2026, and the AI regulation bill Trump almost signed is a bigger deal than most people realize. The leaked USMNT World Cup roster is here and The Cooligans are diving into every shocking inclusion and painful omission. Did Mauricio Pochettino get it right leaving Diego Luna and Tanner Tessmann off the list? Should Gio Reyna and Alejandro Zendejas have made the squad? Christian and Alexis debate the biggest roster controversies and what these decisions say about the future of the U.S. Men's National Team heading into the World Cup. Then, former Mexico striker Javier “Chicharito” Hernández joins the show for one of the most thoughtful football conversations we've had in a long time. Chicharito opens up about the biggest problems in Mexican soccer, why fans need to rethink how they support players, how he developed his instincts as a striker, and why Hugo Sánchez still doesn't get enough respect as one of the greatest goal scorers the sport has ever seen. Plus, we react to one of the tensest Premier League decision days in recent memory. West Ham are down, Tottenham somehow survive, Sunderland are headed to Europe in their first season back in the top flight, and Pep Guardiola says goodbye to the Premier League in emotional fashion. Gary and Alan break down a dramatic final day of the Premier League season. West Ham tried their best to survive by beating Leeds 3-0, but it wasn't enough as Tottenham beat Everton to avoid relegation on the final day. So the Hammers are down for the first time in 14 years. Arsenal finally got their hands on the trophy after 22 years, with a record 19 goals from corners and 19 clean sheets. They covered Pep Guardiola's emotional final goodbye at City, Mohamed Salah's record-breaking Liverpool farewell, and Bruno Fernandes making assists history. And then there's Sunderland. Rachel Maddow looks at Donald Trump's attempt to have $1.8 billion taxpayer dollars handed to him to distribute to his friends and allies, and debunks the notion that this money-grab has anything to do with suing the IRS. Rep. Jamie Raskin, who calls Trump's scheme "nothing but a racket," joins to discuss Trump's increasingly open, shameless corruption. Rachel Maddow looks at a collection of reports that show stock purchases made by Donald Trump that were followed by federal actions or specific statements by Donald Trump that affected the price of those stocks. With the major foreign affairs of the United States being handled by Donald Trump's son-in-law and his real estate buddy, Marco Rubio's State Department has become a catch-all for loose ends where officials are dumped after falling out of favor and Rubio's assignments become increasingly disparate. Mary Moriarty the elected Hennepin County prosecutor, talks with Rachel Maddow about her attempt to prosecute an infamous ICE agent. Want more of Rachel? In this Friday Headline Brief of The Wright Report, Bryan opens with a major warning from Beijing as President Xi publicly tells President Trump and the world that America is in decline while China is rising, using the language of the "Thucydides Trap" to signal a dangerous new phase in U.S.-China relations. He also covers CIA Director John Ratcliffe's sudden trip to Cuba as the island faces blackouts, fuel shortages, protests, and possible DOJ action against former dictator Raul Castro. Bryan then turns to a growing South American crime-ring problem in the United States, new testimony showing that one in five residents of Fairfax County, Virginia is an illegal alien or lives with one, and a stunning new Democrat argument that deporting criminal illegal aliens somehow denies justice to victims. Plus, Bryan breaks down a landmark Supreme Court ruling that could reshape trucking safety and liability across the country, new polling showing Democrats are willing to sacrifice black-majority districts for political power, and encouraging economic data showing most Americans still report stable finances. He closes with hopeful medical news on a pancreatic cancer pill, early schizophrenia detection, and new research suggesting that what pregnant mothers eat may shape whether their children like vegetables later in life.
