Men, Holy Week is upon us, and the finish line is in sight. Whether Lent has been a triumph or a struggle, now is your chance to lock in. Easter's close, but we're not there yet. St. Joseph lived hidden, guarding the God-man in silence while the world ignored him. His humility shone in poverty and trials, his faith unshaken by darkness. He's our model now. Here's your challenge: Simplify your life today. Too many prayers? Too much noise? Pick one thing—silence, Scripture, a single act of charity—and do it well, humbly, like Joseph. Maybe you've stumbled this Lent; doesn't matter. It's how you finish that counts. Lean into his example to make this Holy Week your strongest yet. Men, Satan trembles at Joseph's quiet strength. Want to honor God and enter Easter's mystery? Simplify and focus. Products/References Mentioned: Consecration to St. Joseph by Father Donald CallowayPowerful Quotes: “Joseph sought God in simplicity. Joseph found God in detachment. Joseph enjoyed God's company in obscurity.” “He guards a God-man and breathes not a word of it. He is the witness of so great a mystery and he tastes it in secret without divulging it abroad.” “Not how you start, it's how you finish. Right, gentlemen? How can we simplify our lives? How can we finish strong?”Key Takeaway:Simplify today—choose one humble act, like sitting in silence, and do it with focus. Start now to mirror St. Joseph and end Lent strong.Send us a text Support the showPlease prayerfully consider supporting the podcast on our Buy Me A Coffee page. to help grow the show to reach as many men as possible! Scriptures: Ezra 1:1-4, Ezra 4:24, Haggai 1:2-9, Haggai 2:6-7, John 2:19-21, Ephesians 2:19-22 Speaker: Scott Meyer Summary: This sermon focuses on the concept of completing the work God has started in us, drawing parallels to the Israelites rebuilding the temple under Ezra and Haggai's leadership. It highlights how the people initially began rebuilding the temple with enthusiasm but were distracted by opposition and personal priorities, leaving God's work unfinished for years. Scott connects this to modern life, urging us to reflect on what God has called us to do but left incomplete, whether in our faith journey, relationships, or ministries. The temple's significance is traced from a physical structure to Jesus, who represents God's ultimate presence and atonement, and finally to believers as the spiritual temple, carrying God's presence to the world. Scott closes with a call to refocus on God's agenda, resist distractions, and trust in His promise to complete the good work He began in us.

Hebrews 6:12We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised. Joshua 14:6-156 Now the people of Judah approached Joshua at Gilgal, and Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite said to him, “You know what the Lord said to Moses the man of God at Kadesh Barnea about you and me. 7 I was forty years old when Moses the servant of the Lord sent me from Kadesh Barnea to explore the land. And I brought him back a report according to my convictions, 8 but my fellow Israelites who went up with me made the hearts of the people melt in fear. I, however, followed the Lord my God wholeheartedly. 9 So on that day Moses swore to me, ‘The land on which your feet have walked will be your inheritance and that of your children forever, because you have followed the Lord my God wholeheartedly.'[a]10 “Now then, just as the Lord promised, he has kept me alive for forty-five years since the time he said this to Moses, while Israel moved about in the wilderness. So here I am today, eighty-five years old! 11 I am still as strong today as the day Moses sent me out; I'm just as vigorous to go out to battle now as I was then. 12 Now give me this hill country that the Lord promised me that day. You yourself heard then that the Anakites were there and their cities were large and fortified, but, the Lord helping me, I will drive them out just as he said.” 13 Then Joshua blessed Caleb son of Jephunneh and gave him Hebron as his inheritance. 14 So Hebron has belonged to Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite ever since, because he followed the Lord, the God of Israel, wholeheartedly. 15 (Hebron used to be called Kiriath Arba after Arba, who was the greatest man among the Anakites. As we enter the final quarter, it's time to reflect on our progress and set our sights on even greater achievements. Are you ready to finish strong and make 2025 your best year yet?And talking about achievements, it's not just the number we're focusing on, but the quality of your productivity, health, and lifestyle, working hard for your career, and business, and spending time with loved ones.Q4 is about maximizing the results by focusing on what works for you because there's not enough time for further noise and distraction. In this episode, Balazs W Kardos shares his insights on finishing this year the best way possible through simplicity as you approach events that will keep you away from your goals.Likewise, Balazs has a lot on his plate this quarter – his son is due this month, intake forms for GPM Base is closing, the GPM community is growing (dash-6 member achieved!), and he has been recording new episodes for Diamond Life Mentor. He reflects on how he can stay focused on what matters most and what he can do to be a great father, husband, and mentor. While it's natural to recognize achievements and milestones, he recommends maintaining balance and mindfulness in these celebrations. The ways to do that are to reprioritize and evaluate the consistency of your actions, eliminate unnecessary activities, master a few core strategies, and execute them to get sustainable results."You don't have to do all things at all times; you need to recognize the most important and then simplify. The boring is what produces results." - Balazs W KardosTune into this episode to discover how to set yourself up for a successful 2025 through simplicity, consistency, and reprioritizing goals.Key Diamond Nuggets In This Episode:How can you maximize results and finish strong this Q4? Steve Legg died a few days ago. This interview with him and Carl Beech was recorded early last summer. They are both hilarious, passionate for people, and want to seize every opportunity to share their Ultimate Hope with as many people as possible. At the time of recording, Steve had been given a terminal cancer diagnosis with just a couple of months to live, so estimated the doctor; but Steve was praying for his healing. Whereas although Carl is suffering with degenerative Parkinson's disease, he has the firm conviction that he's not to pray for healing, but rather accept the journey over the coming years and bring glory to God through the suffering. Carl's condition has progressed significantly since, but he is still doing beautiful things (see below). This podcast is released with Bekah Legg's blessing, and Steve's of course as well, who to the end wanted as many people as possible to meet his Saviour for themselves. Please share this far and wide as well, and prepare to laugh and cry in equal measure! If you want to support Steve's wife Bekah and their five girls, you can do so at: justgiving.com/crowdfunding/blesstheleggsSteve's previous podcast is here:inspired.captivate.fm/episode/sorted-steve-leggSubscribe to Sorted magazine at: sortedmag.comCarl's previous podcast is here: inspired.captivate.fm/episode/on-the-edge-carl-beechCheck out Edge Ministries: edgeministries.netFollow Carl on Instagram: @beechband - where you will see how things have progressed with him in the last year, but how he's helped launch and promote an amazing band which vastly improves speech and reduces anxiety.
