Hi all you Meddling Kids! After the longest hiatus of all hiatuses, I have some fresh episodes for you On March 14, 2021, I will drop the first half of episodes covering the Laff-A-Lympics season 1! They are shorter episodes, so you will probably be able to breeze through them while I record the next batch, so there will be another wait unfortunately for you. Thank you to everyone who listens and those who will listen in the future. I know how annoying it is when one of your favorite podcasts doesn't post new episodes, trust me!
Just a warning: The second half of this episode really just threw me for a loop.
We have reached the end of the Scooby-Doo Show. It is unfortunate because I did enjoy seeing these episodes that I have never seen before, but I am also ready and excited to move on to the next incarnation of the show! Before I do, this is the first of three episodes in which Scooby-Doo and The Dynomutt, Dog Wonder shows crossed-over!
Do you like ice cream and oddly named ice cream companies?
Scooby and gang have some fun and experience some scares as a ghostly player attempts to sabotage the almighty Wonder Bowl for the hometown Hawks
An episode living in the shadow of Captain Cutler's ghost.
Who wants to go on a field trip to AquaWorld when quarantine is lifted??
Not having allergies and getting some sleep would be nice, wouldn't it?
Another episode, another name or phrase that you will struggle to say once (let alone more than once in a row.)
Do you like zombies? Pink robes? Tongue twisters? Then listen to this episode of The Meddling Kids Podcast and/or watch this episode of The Scooby-Doo Show!
The gang attempts to visit Niagara falls, but end up spending the night in a haunted sanitarium in... CANADA AHHHHHH
English Castles, failed magicians, and a zillionaire!!
Please enjoy one of the prequels to Scooby Doo 2! Monsters Unleashed
I finally made it on a Sunday in 2020! Enjoy this episode with one of my low-key favorite villains in Scooby history! Also, does anyone else dislike Scooby-Dum as much as I do?
We join the gang this time as they attempt to attend a Fiesta in Cinco, Mexico! They must first face off against a long dead Aztec God and save the city!
This an extremely brief episode, unfortunately. I wanted to do it though, so we can take a second and let The New Scooby-Doo Movies sink in and look forward to what is next. We are entering a foreign period in Scooby history for me! I am excited to see what the show has to offer me that I haven't seen before!
THE AUDIO QUALITY IS HORRIBLE. I am sorry to say that I recorded the episode with the wrong input. Instead of my microphone, my laptop speakers were picking up the audio. So, the quality is pretty awful. I would re-record, but I like to stick to the Sunday (early Sunday) release schedule. It is 7:30am on Saturday, I have to be at work by 9am. I get off at 6pm and then I need to go record an episode of Back Row: Movie News. Then I have a work meeting from 6am-8am on Sunday. AND THEN I have to go back and work 10a-7pm. SO, I can't record again. Is that enough excuses? Dick Van Dyke is about as funny as Johnathan Winters in his appearance on the show, so it is a very fun episode! Thank you for listening!
Would this episode be released in today's social climate? There is one very interesting aspect to this episode that I think may make it controversial. It is a fun episode though, with some solid villains!
This time, we get to experience, maybe, the most serene and cool setting or town in NEW SCOOBY-DOO MOVIE history! Season 2 is coming to a close soon! Go to Facebook to watch my video reaction to the new trailer for the upcoming movie, S.C.O.O.B.!
Hello! This time we go through a REALLY groovy episode of The New Scooby-Doo movies! Don Adams joins Scooby and the gang to exterminate a famous, haunted house! I tried out another slightly different format again. I wanted it to be sort of a commentary or riff, but I kept it off the top of my head. I honestly think it was a rough go, but I still had fun! I may experiment in future episodes with this format, but not do it live. Basically, script out some jokes and stuff. Not totally sure, but I am thankful to be able to ponder these ideas and do this podcast! Happy November!!
Another Sunday, another episode of Scooby-Doo! This episode features comedian, Tim Conway. I think it is a fun one and I had fun recording it! This was my first attempt basically recording it live. Let me know how you enjoyed this format on Facebook! I appreciate you guys listening and any feedback you may or may not have!
Another week, another great episode of Scooby-Doo! This time, it is the Mystery in Persia, featuring Jeannie and her friends from I Dream of Jeannie. Please forgive my confusion about the Tom Sawyer concert and where the gang was headed in this episode. I accidentally watched this episode before The Haunted Showboat. That is why I was so confused on the setup, the title, and just the general idea of the episode. It was still a really fun one to revisit!
Another Sunday, another episode of The Meddling Kids Podcast! Josie and The Pussycats join Scooby and The Gang for a harrowing, ghost filled adventure on an old showboat!
One of the best episodes of The News Scooby-Doo Movies this week! Delve into the world of the Scooby gang and the globetrotters as they face off with ghosts and sleep deprivation!
Another fine episode today! This time it is one of my favorites from the New Scooby-Doo movies! Scooby and the gang are on their way to Shaggy's Uncle Nat's house. Along the way they meet up with The Harlem Globetrotters again. The groups combine for fun and frights as they try to solve the mystery of ghosts and sea serpents in Boston.
This week it is a very fun episode of the New Scooby-Doo Movies! The gang tries to enjoy a camping trip away from it all, but are interrupted when Shaggy and Scooby find Joker and The Penguin making dastardly plans with a kidnapped professor. The dynamic duo, Batman and Robin show up to stop the evil doers and the gang is more than happy to help! This episode features two WILD moments in animation, one if one of the most famous screenshots from Scooby-Doo history!
This week's episode is about the gang's adventure with musician, Jerry Reed! They face some trouble from two butch villains as they try to unite with their friend and make sure he is okay for his performance the next night. It is my first official episode!! I'm so excited! Post in the Meddling Kids Facebook Disucssion Group and let me know how you like it! Tell me, most specifically, if you like the shorter run time, or it seems too rushed! Any praise or constructive criticism is welcome! Thank you for listening! Stay groovy!
I thought I would take a little time to make something special to actually post on the day of Scooby's 50th anniversary! I am super happy to celebrate Scooby's fiftieth year of existing! He and his incarnations have been a very important part of my life and continue to be! Let me know what your favorite episodes are in the Meddling Kids Discussion Group on Facebook!
We're back! The Meddling Kids will live on through the voice of me, Chase Cupo! This is just a little introductory episode. Who I am, my history with Scooby-Doo, and more! Thank you for listening! I am excited to start working on this!
It shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone that Kayleigh and I haven’t put out an episode of Meddling Kids in way too long. Our work schedules just haven’t allowed it to happen and that’s not going to be changing anytime soon. Rather than sit here and continue to tell ourselves and you, the listeners, that the show will go on we’ve come to the hard decision to end things.I spoke with Julie a bit ago and she still does not have the time available to do the show herself. Which is why she passed Meddling Kids over to us in the first place. I’m grateful that she thought we were worthy of filling the void she left when she had to stop making this podcast and wish that we could have pulled it off. Unfortunately, that just didn’t happen. The show will stay online as long as I host my other things with Pinecast. The Facebook group will stay active because I see no reason to shut that down. The Twitter account has been dead for a long time anyway.I’d like to thank everyone who stuck with us while we tried to give this show that everyone loved a chance at continuing and I wish it would have worked out. Taking over for hosts that everyone loved the way that people loved Julie and Steven is a monumental task and, in the end, turned out to be one that people thought we just weren’t up for. If the listeners aren’t enjoying the show, then it takes all the fun out of it for Kayleigh and me and once a podcast stops being fun there’s no reason to make it anymore.I’m sorry that we couldn’t give you what you wanted. I’m sorry that we’ve dragged this decision out for so long. But what I’ll never be sorry for is that we gave it a shot when Julie came to the decision that she couldn’t do it anymore either.
The Scooby gang heads off for some awesome castle adventures. But can they save it from being sold before the clock strikes 8pm? And where is this horseman coming from anyway? Just a quick note about what’s been going on with Play Comics, Meddling Kids, and Ninja Penguin as a whole. Spoiler alert: I think you should be excited about what’s coming up in every facet.
Hey guys, the end of the year holidays have snuck up on us and we have no idea how that happened. Just to make sure that nobody thinks we’ve been kidnapped by a ghost or anything we just have a quick update for everyone.December will most likely have only a few “real” episodes because the end of the year holidays are fun!“Bonus” episodes are a strong possibility because they don’t require writing 8 pages of notesGet ready for things to go full steam ahead starting worst case in JanuaryCatch us in the Meddling Kids Podcast and Scooby-Doo Discussion Group for continued updates on everythingBut mostly, we love each and every one of you for taking this journey with us. Even Red Herring.
