Hanna Barbera is known for creating some of the most iconic characters that graced our TVs on Saturday mornings. The movies made from those characters...well, that's a different story. Sarah Michelle Gellar was one of the biggest teen stars of the nineties. Fuelled by her star-making role as the lead on Joss Whedon's Buffy the Vampire Slayer, she won massive acclaim for her badass, emotional turn as the titular slayer. She parlayed her success into a burgeoning film career, starring in a pair of late nineties teen classics, I Know What You Did Last Summer and Cruel Intentions. The latter was a controversial part that could have backfired but instead was a major hit that further propelled her to the top of the A-list. She started the 2000's starring in the big-screen version of Scooby-Doo as Daphne, which was a big enough hit to spawn a sequel, Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed. Around this time, Buffy the Vampire Slayer ended its run, and Gellar opted to stretch, taking a role in Richard Kelly's much-maligned Southland Tales, which has since become a cult classic. Eventually, she would return to TV on the series Ringer, followed by a co-star role in The Crazy Ones, which would ultimately prove one of the last projects for co-star Robin Williams and seemed to be a troubled production. In recent years, Gellar, who seems to have one of Hollywood's most successful marriages with former co-star Freddie Prinze Jr, has slowed down, opting to focus on voice acting (similar to her husband), voicing parts on Star Wars: Rebels, Robot Chicken, and the recent Masters of the Universe: Revelation. She's been missing from TV and films for some time, with her focusing on family, only re-emerging to weigh in on troubling stories from the set of Buffy the Vampire Slayer involving series mastermind Joss Whedon, which have reframed people's view of what it must have been like working on that show for years. In this episode of WTF Happened to this Celebrity, we chart Gellar's career and see where she is now while also hoping for a big comeback as Gellar truly is one of a kind.
After a tame time in Boulder, we're back in the wild, folks. That means we talk about everything from Meg's new gambling addiction (jk... maybe) to rat trapping in Baltimore to why it's absolutely criminal that Matthew Lillard wasn't nominated for an Oscar for his flawless portrayal of Shaggy in Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed. Think about it though: he really was robbed. Oh, we also talk about the Adidas Boston 12 and why it's finally come around to the greatness it once was.
Willy returns and, having missed the last Scooby Doo episode, decides to do something unprecedented by picking two films from the same series in a row. RUH ROH

Join Josh, Dalton, and Daniel as they watch Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed. SYNOPSIS: In this live-action sequel, the lovable dog Scooby-Doo once again joins his pals Shaggy (Matthew Lillard), Velma (Linda Cardellini), Fred (Freddie Prinze Jr.) and Daphne (Sarah Michelle Gellar) as they stumble into another seemingly supernatural mystery. In addition to facing off against various monsters that are tormenting their town, the gang must deal with television journalist Heather Jasper-Howe (Alicia Silverstone), who is out to discredit their investigations.
Original airdate 4/16/18 “Rampage” just released at the box office and the Mark, Ronnie, and Jesse take some time to discuss a Marvel book that came out last year featuring a bunch of oversized behemoths titled “Monsters Unleashed!” As a large amount of mysterious kaiju rain down from the sky it is up to our heroes of the Marvel universe to try and stop the destruction. However, this time they may be outmatched. Luckily, a young boy may, unknowingly, hold the key to defending the Earth, but it is up to Elsa Bloodstone to figure out if his powers are a blessing or a curse.
