It has been a good 4 years since our last trip to Wakanda and now Ryan Coogler has returned to bring us back into the world. Now THIS is the definition of homework! Especially when this is a franchise that you have a special place in your heart for. This should have been an exciting return to a beloved series. Yet, this was a return to a familiar face that fell flat on itself.

I just CAN NOT wrap my mind around the fact that it has been a solid 2 years since I have uploaded any new episodes. Well I guess what better way to come back then with the re-release of one of the greatest film of all time, E.T.!

With the return of fellow friend Chris Kelly, time to explore another film by Leigh Whannell (The Invisible Man/Saw). This time, we explore a film about a man who is implanted with a chip in order to function better. Let's take a look into the 2018 science "FICTION" film "Upgrade."

Well this can't be the happiest time in the entertainment industry (or the world in general). But in the meantime of this pandemic, we thought about talking about an light-hearted film that may be able to cheer some folks up. Let's dive into Disney/Pixar's latest film "Onward!"

What was suppose to be another entry in Universal's Dark Universe is now just a solo film pulled together from a low budget. However....does that necessarily make the movie any better or worse? Let's take a "look" and see!

While this isn't exactly a review, I want to express some thoughts on the upcoming Mulan film and why I am very intrigued by this movie (especially when compared to Disney's previous live action films).

It's Valentine's Day weekend and it's time to talk about the most recent love story, "The Photograph." Directed by Stella Meghie and produced by Will Packer, many people believe this is a romantic film that is also known as "a breath of fresh air." Well....we'll see about that!

Now THIS is what I call one of the BEST performances I have ever seen of Johnny Depp! This film was so special to me that I bought it immediately after one viewing of my rental! Fortunately, I was able to find 3 more people who were honored to view this film. Let's see what they had to say about Ed Wood as well! 

It's been 25 years since the original and 17 years since it's sequel. The Bad Boys are back for one last ride (or so they say) and they have some fresh blood sitting in the director's chairs this time! Does this franchise still hold up with Will & Martin's return and without the "Bayhem?" Let's take a look at the third entry, "Bad Boys for Life."

Following our previous episode leading up to the third installment is Bad Boys II. This "amazing" sequel came out 7 years after the original. However, does it hold up to the laughs and pure entertainment from what we remember as children? Well...let's find out. 

With the release of Bad Boys for Life around the corner, I thought it would be best to review the first two Bad Boys starting with the original blockbuster from 1995. It's been 25 years since this release and was also Michael Bay's directorial debut. Let's see what we have to say about this smashing hit!

While Knives Out is one of my favorite films of 2019, this was one of my favorite films Fromm 2008. Ip Man is one of the greatest (if not, the greatest) martial arts franchises ever made! With the fourth and final Ip Man's recent release, I thought it would be cool to explore the quadrilogy starting with the original Ip Man!

What a fresh way to kick off 2020 with a film that REALLY should've gathered more attention than it did. With that being said, this is one of my favorite movies of the previous year and me and my colleges can't wait to tell you why!

Well we made it to the end of the year! Wasn't able to see everything I wanted to see but I think this will make a satisfying conclusion to 2019. Let's go out with a bang with the film everyone has been talking about, "Queen & Slim!"   P.S. Sorry for the dog in the background.....she saw a squirrel. 

All around, this is arguably the most anticipated movie of the year. Now with it being out for a couple of weeks, we have a few thoughts to share about the film after having it marinated within our minds. Let's take a look at JOKER! 

This is going to be a tough one. Besides The Jungle Book, I'm not a big fan of all these live action Disney remakes. But I am a big fan of Jon Favreau's work. So with that being said, let's see which side of the coin this movie flips on. 

Th fourth film in this nearly perfect animated saga. Does it live up to the potential held be the previous three films? Let's take a look at what I call a "stand alone" sequel to the original trilogy! 

Here's the bad news, we already know this film is going to be compared to Bohemian Rhapsody for many people. Here's the good news, it's an amazing film that stands by itself. We honestly have nothing but good things to say about this MAGICAL biopic! 

So me and Christina Lowe broke down why we thought Aladdin (1992) is an animated classic. So of course we were pumped for the new remake! Did it deliver the magic of the original to us (or everyone in general)?!? Let's find out!!

Ma is the newest Octavia Spencer film from the producers of Blumhouse. We never seen Octavia take on a role like this. Did she deliver with her new performance or did she just have to pick up from the film's script? Let's see what we have to say about that!

Soooooo.....this is an interesting one. This movie has a 97% on rotten tomatoes. So that pretty much gave us a few expectations going into the film. Did it deliver on those expectations (more importantly the LAUGHS)? Well....let's just give it a listen.

Brightburn is the latest film from the mindset of James Gunn and his family. They have come together to craft an interesting story of Superman....if he was to turn evil. However, is it as interesting as what we thought going in to the movies?!? Let's dive in to Smallvi...I mean Brightburn!!!

So the new live action version has just been released in theaters and before we get a chance to see that, we decided to take a look at the original movie that inspired it. The almighty classic film that helped define some of our childhood from Disney. Is it as good as we remember it to be? Let's rub the lamp and see what we find!

John Wick is back for another installment in this kick ass series and is it just as entertaining as the previous entries?!? Let's drive into the third chapter of the boogeyman's "hit and run" story! 

WINTER. HAS. COME. But to be honest, were we really prepared for this weather? It seems like this winter storm was a little....rushed to say the least. Let's go into detail with not only the finale, but this season in general. 

So do we consider this to be the best video game adaptation? Or even the best live action adaptation based on an anime? OR MAYBE EVEN the best Ryan Reynolds film ever made?!?! Ok maybe not that but....you see where we're going with this.

What better time to come back than to talk about the biggest movie of this year (and possibly all time)?!? Get ready to listen to our thoughts because we have A LOT to say about the biggest Marvel movie of all time!!

The sequel has finally arrived ladies & gentlemen and has it lived up to the hype? Well if you heard our last review, me and Rock9 don't exactly see eye to eye on this franchise. So let's see if this sequel has changed any of our minds...

Before the sequel arrives, me and Rock9 would like to go back and talk about the first movie. As many people think this was so awesome that it deserved an oscar nomination. Can we say if we are on the same boat? 

Well we are in the early year of horror movies. So with that being said, we weren't so impressed by this movie. However for those who saw this movie, can you really blame us?!?!? For those who haven't, do you want to after hearing our thoughts?!?

So this is something new for me. Never have I had interest in documentaries, but I never chose FREE WILLINGLY to go to the movies to see one. However, this film has been getting so much buzz that I couldn't resist. Plus I'm a sucker for damn near anything in IMAX (IMAX format to be exact)!  

Call it cheesy, call it glamorous, call it another DC film in the messy universe, this is now the highest grossing DC film ever. After having it sit in theaters for some time now, we decided to tackle on what we think of this (mediocre) film.

Soooooooooo 2019 has a few promising movies ahead of us. If this is the start of what is to come, then it doesn't look so promising after all. HOWEVER, that's why I have some friends to help me see if it's just me that thinks this. 

I'm still amazed at the box office numbers for the Jurassic World series. Does that mean the story/film holds up to everyone's standard? Well.......
