**Dragon Ball Super: Beerus NEEDS to Fix What Went Wrong.** We've been waiting YEARS for the **Galactic Patrol / Moro arc**, so why is Toei taking us back to the beginning of Dragon Ball Super? At first glance, **Dragon Ball Super: Beerus** might look like another remake or even a simple cash grab. But the more you look at what Toei is actually doing, the more interesting this project becomes. The official **ENHANCED edition** of Dragon Ball Super isn't simply an upscale. Toei says the project includes **extensive new cuts, revisions to existing scenes, complete re-rendering of the footage, newly recorded dubbing, new score and sound effects, and a full reconstruction of the story** — with the goal of more faithfully expressing Akira Toriyama's original ideas and worldbuilding. And honestly... **Dragon Ball Super needed this.** When Super originally premiered in 2015, its early production became infamous for rushed and inconsistent animation, with **Episode 5's Goku vs. Beerus fight** becoming one of the most notorious examples. But rather than simply criticize the animators, we're looking at the bigger production problem — and what a new approach could mean for Dragon Ball's future. Because Toei has also officially announced **Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol**, which will continue the story after the Tournament of Power and bring **Planet-Eater Moro** to the anime. So why go back to Beerus? Could this be about building a stronger foundation before Dragon Ball finally moves forward? We also talk about Toei's major **One Piece production schedule change**, which moves the flagship series toward approximately **26 new episodes per year** beginning in 2026. While there is no official confirmation that One Piece staff are being moved onto Dragon Ball, the broader shift toward giving major anime productions more breathing room could have important implications for the future quality of Dragon Ball. And this one gets personal. Weird News 55:10: Welp, it might happen again — TOKYOPOP, despite having publishing success in the past year or so due to their focus on shorter shoujo and BL works, may go belly up due to…N-Naruto?!?! 1:01:42: Toei Animation did confirm that there has not been a license agreement for a planned Dragon Ball manga-themed theme park in France, which means many questions must arise from this news; Kyo Shirodaira and Yuri Kimura is bringing The Record of a Fallen Vampire back after 19 years; Black Bullet is also shockingly coming back, this time though it’ll be rebooted; creator Kotoko announced that Megumi Dorokawa will take over as the artist for the Fake It to Break It! I Faked Amnesia to Break off My Engagement and Now He's All Lovey-Dovey?! manga, which is less weird but more rare for something like this to happen. 1:11:05: Normally a manga ending in Japan wouldn’t be in this section, but with Manga Diary of a Male Porn Star ending in Japan, maybe Seven Seas will finally be able to finish this series after stopping for some unknown reason; Let’s just say memecoin and Pokémon are not a great combination, and especially on X (Twitter), where security gets rougher and rougher for some users, it is disastrous. 1:18:50: And finally, there are more collaborations occurring, starting with again One Piece and SpongeBob being a thing, and now Dragon Ball Super and Burger King will also become a thing.
