There is the rider of the White Horse in Revelation 6:2 and now you meet another rider of the White Horse in Revelation 19 from verse 11 to 14, with the armies of heaven following him with fine linen bright and clean. I'm heading to one thing here today on how to break the chains of sexual sin. But first of all we want to look at just a little Scripture. Read Proverbs chapter 5 verses 1 to 23 and Proverbs 7 read from 1 to 27. The wedding garment is "endyma gamou" in Greek; the meaning is in clothes of wedding. Let's look at Isaiah chapter 61. I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. (Isaiah 61:10)There are two clothes in Isaiah 61:10, one is the garment of salvation and the other is the robe of righteousness. Garment of salvation is like spiritual underwear. Anybody who believe in Jesus and their sins forgiven could have it. That means anyone who are truly saved could have it. It is freely given by the Lord. We could go to heaven with this garment of salvation when we die.But we can not enter the wedding of the Lamb by this garment of salvation. That's why a man in Matthew 22 was expelled by the King. Then, what do we need to be in the wedding of the Lamb? We need the robe of righteousness(wedding clothes). This robe of righteousness is called different names in the Bible: Wedding garment(Matt 22:11), white garment(Rev 3:5), and fine linen(Rev 19:8). And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. (Rev 19:8)This wedding clothes is the righteous acts of the saints. That means we have to earn it through our righteous acts. Once we get this wedding clothes, we may make it dirty. That's why Jesus mentioned to Sardis in Rev 3:4, someone who was not make it dirty(not defiled their garment).You have a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white, for they are worthy. He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels. (Rev 3:4-5)Not only sin make the wedding clothes dirty, we may loose the wedding clothes if we sin again and again. If we loose this robe of righteousness, we just have the garment of salvation. Because garment of salvation is considered the underwear so we become spiritually naked. “Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.” (Rev 16:15)That's why we have to keep this wedding clothes in good condition. Sins make it dirty. Whenever we sin, we have to repent right away. Please do daily repentance. that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. (Eph 5:27)Jesus wants us to be "not having spot or wrinkle" and "holy and withou blemish". It is time to surrender all to Jesus. He is coming like a thief soon! Be ready for His coming!
