The blood that pleads better things than the blood of Abel
Something recoils in all of us at the sight of blood. Some may even faint when they see it. So when we open the Bible and find so many references to blood, it can be a bit disturbing. In the Old Testament animals are sacrificed and their blood sprinkled on people and things, and in the New Testament Jesus uses shocking analogies involving His own blood (Jn 6:53-56; Mt 26:27, 28) and his apostles went on to refer to His blood repeatedly in their writings (Ac 20:28; Ro 3:25; 5:9; Eph 1:7; 2;13; Heb 9:12; 1 Pe 1:2; Jn 1:7; 5:6; Rev 1:5). So, we need to ask, "Why all this talk about blood?" Is it necessary, or can we assume it was just an ancient way of expressing a spiritual truth that we today prefer to describe with different language? In this study we'II look at what the Bible says about blood in order to understand why it's so important. Then we'll look at how blood was applied in the Old Testament and later on in the New Testament. And, finally, we'll examine how believers today can apply the power of "the blood" to their own lives. Missionary Evangelist and Pastor Robert Breaker talks about the modern battle over the biblical doctrine of "Faith in the Blood," and how there are many today who say you don't have to know about it or believe in it. He further shows how Unitarians and Gnostics are historically the ones who have been against it, and deny the blood atonement of Jesus Christ.

Today's Promise: Matthew 26:27-28 The night before His crucifixion, Jesus gathered the disciples together to observe the Passover meal. During the meal, Jesus raised a cup and stated that His blood would bring forgiveness of sin. Each of us carries a sin debt against God. The Bible says we have all sinned. (Romans 3:23) That sin debt separates us from God and condemns us to an eternity away from His presence. Through faith in Christ, you now live free from the debt of your sin.

The presence of God is everything, but how do we access it? This one is a condemnation killer.

Today's guest is author, speaker, and podcast host Laine Lawson Craft. This episode is a little longer because Laine's personal experience as the mother of three - yes three! - prodigal children and the strategies she's learned along the way are just too helpful and powerful to edit down to the length of most of my episodes. Our children mean so much to us but parenting them isn't for the faint of heart. The terrible twos were indeed terrible. And no one prepared us for the turbulent teen years. Today's interview is about parenting an adult child who is making destructive decisions or who is walking down a dark path or who has turned his/her back on their faith. Parenting a wayward or prodigal child impacts a parent in significantly different ways.Laine poured her experiences with her three prodigal children and the wisdom she gained into her book, The Parent's Battle Plan: Warfare Strategies to Win Back Your Prodigal Child and her devotional, Warfare Parenting: A Daily Battle Plan to Fight for Your Child. Both are available on Amazon.Laine and I discussed the journey with each of her three children, content from her book, and her desire to have Warfare Parenting Small Groups across the country to support parents of wayward and prodigal children.Notable quotes:* "Hope to me is waiting expectantly on God's turnaround."* "Today's struggle is tomorrow's testimony.”* "Like a relentless rescue team, God is tirelessly working to bring your lost one home. God is in the rescue business, and He's really good at it.”* "I'm going to love you so that you see something different in me that makes you yearn to be more like that.""They were just in a chapter of their story, and God gets all the glory. And now they are messengers of hope to their generation."Bible verses:* John 10:10* Matthew 20:1-16* Isaiah 54:17* 1 John 4:4* Exodus 14:14* John 8:32* Luke 19:10* Laine's fight verse is Ephesians 3:20.Learn more about Laine ather website: lainelawsoncraft.comher Facebook page: facebook.com/momlaine.lawsoncrafther Instagram page: instagram.com/lainelawsoncraftSend me a COMMENT or QUESTION!THANK YOU FOR LISTENING! In this week's episode, Evangelist Chance Walters teaches us How to Apply The Blood of Jesus to our personal life. Please share with a friend!
The incredible benefits of the Blood of Jesus and how to activate those benefits
Not perfect just willing!•Not better than anyone else in any way, just living a completely surrendered life.•Which doesn't exempt me from stumbling or falling but I have a want to, a desire, and will to get back up & run full speed back into the hands of my Father. •We serve a loving God, but I can't seem to grasp how or why He's so forgiving, merciful, & gracious to me, us! And I don't think I'll ever understand but I'm grateful for His blood. •I'm grateful for what it did on the cross for each of us. Because the payment for my sin wasn't one I could pay!
What a powerful promise! The blood of Jesus cleanses us from ALL sin. It's not a partial cleaning, no, the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin. Isn't this amazing? We can be fully forgiven and completely cleansed of our sin, because of Jesus' death and his blood shed for us. The blood of Jesus Christ paid the penalty for all our sins – past, present, and future.Main Points:1. It might seem strange to someone who is not a Christian that we as believers talk about, and even sing about, the blood of Jesus. After all, blood is often considered an uncomfortable subject.2. But the reason we are grateful for the blood of Jesus is because of its power. Yes, there is power in the blood of Jesus. It has the power to cleanse us from our sins.3. God wouldn't be just if he winked at our sin, or swept it under the rug. No, justice had to be met. Compelled by his great love for us, Jesus steps in and pays the awful penalty for us. He gave his life for us. He shed his blood for us.Today's Scripture Verses:Ephesians 1:7 - “In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace.”1 John 1:7 - “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.”John 1:29 - “The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!”Quick Links:Donate to support this podcastLeave a review on Apple PodcastsGet a copy of The 5 Minute Discipleship JournalConnect on SocialJoin The 5 Minute Discipleship Facebook GroupLoren Hicks on Instagram

Pastor Bill Vanderbush elevated our understanding of the prophetic language God uses in His Word so we could see our identity in Christ from His perspective! From Genesis to Revelation, he exposed how God judges us as righteous, based on what Jesus has done! All creation is waiting to be set free—longing for us to have the revelation of our authority in Christ so we can let the grace and the goodness and the glory of God be on display in us!

I'm not perfect, but I've been bought with the blood. I may stumble, but I'm not going back to bondage. I'll repent, I'll obey, and I'll keep sweeping out the sin—because my life is in a house covered by the blood. My faith isn't in my own obedience — it's in the blood. And when Jesus returns, the question won't be about perfection, but about the heart: Do I see the blood? A heart that longs to live under His grace.
Why do we sing blood songs? What did the blood represent?
Greetings to all.I pray you are doing well. Thank you for listening to this week's Gospel reflection.God bless.Fr. Kennedy
On this episode of Uncommon Sense with Ginny Robinson, I explain why I've shifted to a neutral stance on the Israel-Iran conflict. While mainstream media pressures us to “pick a side,” Scripture tells a deeper story, one that's not bound by modern borders or politics.Christians are the true Israel, not by race or nation, but by faith in Christ. The Church is the chosen people of God, not a geopolitical state. So why are we being told that standing with the a government equals standing with God?We'll unpack the phrase “Judeo-Christian”—what it really means (and what it doesn't)—and discuss how religiously manipulative narratives can cloud our judgment. Supporting everything any group does (whether Jewish, Christian, or Muslim) is not biblical discernment. It's idolatry.None of us are perfect. Not every Christian represents Christ well, and not every Jew or Muslim represents their faith's ideals either. So let's step back, seek the truth, and refuse to be emotionally blackmailed into blind allegiance.--https://policecoffee.com/collections/coffee
