We take a hard look at the text and walk through Hebrews 9, Romans 5–6, Colossians 2, and Ephesians 2 to ask whether Scripture itself says the work is finished. Our aim is simple: test the claim that Jesus, as mediator of the New Covenant, accomplished the end of sins, made reconciliation for iniquity, brought in everlasting righteousness, sealed vision and prophecy, and was anointed as the Most Holy.We start with the cross as the decisive act. Hebrews says Christ appeared once to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself, and Romans says He died unto sin once. That means the end of sins is not a future pause in human behavior, but the present end of sin's condemning power for all who believe. From there we trace reconciliation: while enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son. Add Colossians' declaration that all trespasses are forgiven and the record of debt is canceled, and the picture sharpens—this isn't a plan on layaway. It's already purchased.Then we tackle everlasting righteousness. Paul announces a righteousness revealed now apart from the law, credits believers as righteous through the obedience of the One, and locates this grace in union with the risen Christ. If righteousness is ours now, what future week are we still waiting for? We also address “sealing up vision and prophecy,” centering fulfillment on Jesus' own words that everything written in Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms concerning Him must be fulfilled. Chapters 6 through 19 cover the entire seven-year Tribulation period, with the last three and a half years being the Great Tribulation initiated by the Antichrist's ascent to full power. Zumpano notes that the Tribulation is primarily God's final dealing with Israel, secondarily with Gentile unbelievers, and is a time of God trying to save souls by taking away man's idols (including the earth) and exposing them to the evil (Satan and demons) that they preferred over Him. The sixth seal marks the official beginning of the wrath of God, and the seventh seal will unleash seven Trumpet Judgments, which in turn lead to the seven Bowl Judgments, a "triple whammy" of escalating severity designed to capture man's attention.Revelation 7 begins by introducing four angels restraining the four winds (judgments) of the earth until a separate angel seals 144,000 bond-servants of God on their foreheads—specifically 12,000 from each of the 12 tribes of Israel (Jews). He reiterates his belief in two raptures: a pre-tribulation/early-tribulation rapture for the zealous evangelical (Philadelphia) Church, and a pre-wrath rapture for those later converted. The lukewarm or backslidden (Laodicean) believers, he suggests, may go through the Tribulation due to their refusal to be zealous, but Christ still offers them a chance to "get hot" (Revelation 3). A new board of peace is being put together that will team up world leaders from around the globe and will be chaired by the one and only Donald J. Trump. Following the Great Tribulation, surviving Jews are gathered in the wilderness for judgment. Believing Jews (wise virgins) are spared and enter the Millennial Kingdom in mortal bodies, while unbelievers (foolish virgins) are cast into hell. This fulfills Matthew 24:40, illustrating God's righteous separation and preparation for His kingdom.
