Up early this a.m. The Lord gave me this. Having patience is not only a virtue, it is a mandate from God and part of the Fruit of the Spirit. How are we waiting? Are we waiting well? Are we resting in the Lord while we wait? Are we trusting in the Lord whilst we wait on Him? Friend? If that which you are waiting for is a promise from the Lord and it has yet to come, it is simply not your time. It is not your turn. Rejoice in that. Rejoice in the waiting! There are lessons to be learned in the wait! There is POWER in the wait and there is FAITH and TRUST building in the wait. Wait on the Lord, Friend.♥️

Hey Friend! Happy New Year! Today's podcast is special. I share a short story that I wrote about 4 years ago entitled “Beauty in Ashes”. It's inspires by Isaiah 61:3 as well as some personal experiences in my journey of SonnyDays. I pray that it is an encouragement to you. Remember: There is always beauty found in ashes. God desires to burn away those things within us that push us further away from who He created us to be. That's a beautiful blessing.

It is possible to enjoy the journey...even when it hurts.❤️

Hey Friend! We're living in a world full of Marthas. Many of us are so caught up in the happenings of the world, we tend to forget about what matters most... Jesus. Sitting at the feet of our Savior and listening to His Word. When was the last time that you got quiet before Him? When was the last time you chose to sit and spend time with Jesus? Martha had many distractions. She meant well, but Jesus reminded her that what Mary had chosen to do was the good part and it wouldn't be taken from her. Friend, it's time to refocus and resolve to cast our cares onto our Savior. I pray that this episode will encourage you to seek Him today.❤️
