Adulthood responsibilities are NOT a sacrifice. That term is put in place to give individuals a cushion to fall if they so happen to mess up. However, a sacrifice is doing something outside of your adult responsibilities NOT something you choose to do. With that being said, that takes away a lot of what is called a sacrifice.
