John 4:13-14 Jesus answered and said to her, "Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again; but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life." Everything in the natural physical world has limitations. Let's think about what Jesus said. The one who drinks of the water from Jacob's well will thirst again, not because there's something wrong with the water. The physical body needs water to survive. We have to drink daily. In contrast, the spiritual man also has thirst, but the water Jesus offers not only satisfies the thirst, but the living water becomes a well of more water producing eternal life. Our encouragement today is that as God's children, we have a never-ending, all-satisfying, eternal life-producing fountain dwelling in our souls. As we will learn, it is spiritual. In any circumstance or relationship, we may drink from the life of Christ, and He will fill us with what we need to express His life in this world. As we read this account, we see how living water was pouring forth from Him to the Samaritan woman. Although He was physically thirsty, He ministered to her out of fullness. Such is the life we have as we live to love with Jesus. We may have many people cross our paths today who are like the woman from Samaria. They are thirsting for eternal life, but don't know it. May the love we show them prepare the way for conversations about living water that springs up to eternal life. May we live out of the fullness of Jesus' life. You begin with a statement of faith. “Jesus, You are my life. You are the source of everything I need today.” Then follow with a request of faith. “Lord, make me a spring of living water to those around me. Pour out Your love to everyone who crosses my path today.” We close with gratitude. “Thank You for giving me eternal life. Amen.” I invite you to become a partner in our ministry. Would you pray about becoming a regular supporter of Elijah Ministries and the Live to Love with Jesus ministry? I hope you will receive the joy and benefit of “giving it forward,” so others may receive encouragement to turn their hearts to God and to live to love with Jesus. “Tell me how it's fixed. We're not continuing this conversation until you explain exactly how.”That's the challenge Skin throws down in this wildly entertaining episode of The Ben and Skin Show, where conspiracy theories, celebrity run-ins, and hilarious weekend recaps collide in a perfect storm of chaos and comedy.Ben Rogers, Jeff “Skin” Wade, Kevin “KT” Turner, and Krystina Ray are back on 97.1 The Eagle, and they're bringing the heat—and the laughs. From Skin's yacht rock weekend and KT's electric night with Saul Goodman's secretary (yes, really), to Krystina's storm-shortened but stellar performance at the Wildflower Festival, the crew dives into their weekends. But the real fireworks start when Ben recounts a birthday party conversation gone off the rails: two friends, a few drinks, and a full-blown belief that the NBA Draft is rigged. What follows is a masterclass in comedic frustration, as Ben and Skin try to reason with the unreasonable. The result? One of the funniest and most relatable sports rants you'll hear all year.Memorable Moments:

Newt talks with Italian journalist and bestselling author, Aldo Cazzullo, about his new book, “The Neverending Empire: The Infinite Impact of Ancient Rome.” They discuss the enduring influence of the Roman Empire on modern Western civilization and the United States. Cazzullo argues that the Roman Empire's legacy is evident in American democracy, architecture, and cultural symbols, asserting that the empire never truly fell but continues to live on. He highlights the parallels between Rome and the United States, such as the use of the eagle as a symbol and the strategic approach to turning defeated enemies into allies. They discuss the resilience and integration strategies of ancient Rome, the impact of Julius Caesar and Augustus, and the conversion of Rome to Christianity. Cazzullo emphasizes the importance of Rome's dream of universal peace and governance, suggesting that the United States is uniquely positioned to fulfill this vision today.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

In this episode, I shared why chasing “more” often leaves us feeling empty, no matter how much we achieve. The finish line keeps moving when we base our happiness on the next goal. Real fulfillment doesn't come from accumulation—it comes from clarity, gratitude, and alignment with our values. By redefining what “enough” means and shifting from scarcity to abundance, we begin to experience peace in the present, not just hope for it in the future. You already have everything you need—the key is removing what's getting in the way. To join my next free Friday Training sessions, email me at david@dmeltzer.com

Episode 320 Tired of long to-do lists and playing catch-up? Yeah, me too! If you feel like you're working hard at catching up and have to wait to relax until you do, this episode is for you! I've had an epiphany about the unrealistic expectations I put on myself. One day, a few weeks ago, I said ENOUGH! I'm working towards being more intentional with my time and energy to get done what is important and taking a break even with a long list of to-do's! In this episode, I share my truth and encourage you to be honest and realistic with yourself if you need more time for yourself and your tasks are standing in your way. The prompts I use in this episode: What can I do? Focus on 1-3 things a day. What can't I do? What is outside of your control - leave it. What do I want to do or don't want to do? Get rid of the fluff to be more intentional with what brings you joy and energy. What can I save for later? Write it down and tuck that "later list" away. I'm with you! Send me an email if you want to learn more about private coaching here. To join Team Alcohol-Free for Spring enrollment, click here.
