A change in the name. Never did like the name I'd given it. Same mixture of what is in the description, new artwork to follow. So, this podcast is about the music that inspires me. Along the way I'd like to get to hear other peoples music and play it, this includes new bands etc. I am mostly into alternative, rock and experimental music but also like some classical, blues and jazz. Recently I've been looking into the history of bands and their influences and how they've influenced other scenes.Follow me on Twitter on @AlunPodcast. So starting this episode with Tullycraft's song Twee. Early indie pop or alternative has been seen as being 'twee', I find it difficult to describe because there were, and still are, a lot of nuance within the alternative scene.I'll go back to the early days of Orange Juice and talk about the bands, how they developed their music, especially The Soup Dragons, PWEI and Primal Scream. There is a lot to go into in one episode, this will probably cover the 80's up until at least 1987Tonights bands:Tullycraft- TweeOrange Juice- BridgeThe Soup Dragons- Whole Wide WorldThe Flatmates- ShimmerPop Will Eat Itself- Sweet Sweet PieThe Sea Urchins- Please Rain FallThe Field Mice- End of the AffairPrimal Scream- Imperial
